  As many have complained, mine is the same. I have been a patient for approx. 18 months and only need maintenance meds, but since last Dec I have been made to come in which costs out of pocket and time, when the meds should have just been refilled. The office manager Christine, has argued with me concerning my co-pay when I have tried to show her my card and what my insurance covers via online, but they want you to pay upfront costs that are not correct then you have to wait months to get a refund for an overpayment. This office manager gaslights and threatened to throw me out of the office before my appointment when I raised the issue of my co-pay and said to call my insurance. She said I need to call my insurance, when I had the policy pulled up on my phone and she refused to look at it. I've sent emails to my doc to refill a prescription that I was just given, to the generic, yet that email was never given to my doctor and answered by the Office Manager who has given me problems in the past saying you need to come in. Wait, what, I was just there and only need to switch it to the generic brand. This is totally unprofessional especially when you are going to a mental health facility, to be treated that way and forced to come in just for $$ on there part, then threaten. I will find a new doctor and stay away from Largo Elite Dna.

  If there was a negative star I would give it. My friend had a telehealth visit with an EliteDNA therapist because she decided to change psychiatrists. It was terrible. She had been on some medications for 10+ years and basically knew the exact medications that worked well for her. One was for ****, another for anxiety and a third medication for sleep. The therapist did not give her anything for any of the issues that she had. She said to come back in a week and they would discuss it again. Of course she went somewhere else and they immediately called in prescriptions for all three of her issues. EliteDNA should not be able to exist because her experience was worse than doing nothing since it wasted time.

  HORRIBLE! RUDE RUDE! Who would be comfortable going into that type of office and spilling their guts when the receptionist was so demeaning? Nope.

  ************* I was fired from services after only 2 appointments. The first office visit, I requested a refill on a medication I have been on for 20 years.. It was called in but only at half the dose so I took every other day to make it last. 2nd visit I asked for same medication refill but at my current very low dose. This was never called in for 21 days. Despite me calling the office everyday for 10 days as I was running out even taking at half the dose. With a 4 day holiday weekend coming up, I finally went to office. told the receptionist that I was completely out of med for 3 days, and I would wait in office until called in. I had lost all trust. I had to wait 90 minutes for the provider to call it in and when I asked if it would be soon, the receptionist told me I was not their only patient. The waiting room was empty the entire 90 minutes so it wasn't patients keeping them busy. She even said in the computer the prescription was generated but never sent to my pharmacy but she still called my pharmacist to see if I filled it. It's already a stigma to have mental health issues from trauma but to be treated like I was telling mistruths to the same receptionist that I called for 10 days in a row to get this filled, was humiliating. So today, was supposed to be the start of my talk therapy to help overcome my trauma. But I get a call from same inexperienced receptionist 3 hours before my appt, to tell me that I am fired from all services because she felt threatened last Wed when I waited in the waiting room. I have been a RN for 30 years and have always been a patient advocate especially during my years at ******* but never thought being my own advocate would lead to this over their own mistake. I would recommend to stay away from this office. I wouldn't put your trust into this practice. I am very experienced with health care and if this can happen to me, I would hate if this happened to someone without a strong support system like I have.

  Horrible. Anxious and high pressure experience. They expect the patient to accommodate them. I am stunned to receive a bill and I havent had a session yet!

  Stay away from this company! I called for like a month to get an appointment and they never called me back and left me on hold for ***** minutes. Finally I called a month later and I was able to get an appointment for a telehealth appointment. When I clicked on their link I was able to register and unable to upload to upload the information that I filled out. So my appointment was canceled and I had to go to the nearest elite ********** to fill out the paperwork manually. I then had an appointment in the afternoon however they didn't send me the link to the Zuma appointment until much later and it took a long time to download the app. The prescriber did not show up on the appointment for the Zuma appointment. This company needs a lot of work stay away!!

  I have been going to Elite DNA for over two years. I had an appointment with my dr and was placed in the wrong waiting room. Because I was at work I hung up on the room and went on with my day. I got my meds refilled and thought all was well.I sent a message asking for another refill to find out my care was suspended for 90 days for not showing up to two appointments( one in June and the one where I was placed in the wrong waiting room. How does a business that tends to peoples well being suddenly suspend all meds as a PUNISHMENT for missing appointments. This is by far the worst company policy I have ever come across. Also getting punished for a mistake that was not mine is very unprofessional. I will be leaving Elite DnA and taking my business elsewhere.

  HORRIBLE customer service one can not call and speak to anyone, it tells you to request an appointment on the portal. Takes a week (or two) to get anyone to answer your message. They are dealing with mental health like they are selling car parts! Mental health can be fragile, they are messing with peoples mental health and well being , when its their JOB to HELP , not ignore people. Serious neglect in that area. Once I was on my way there for a normal appointment and there was a stuck car on the bridge, traffic was backed up. I Tried to call and say I might be a few minutes late and explain the situation. Of course, as usual , no one was there to answer a call, you just go thru a long loop of messages on the phone to no avail. I raced to my appointment, 8 minutes late EIGHT, I often sit for 30 minutes or more waiting to be brought back when I arrive. But at 8 minutes late , they refused me. I am seeing a doctor because of anxiety and an inability to deal with rejection, and the rejected me!! Are they nuts?!! Went to my car and cried. I think being a big corporate office, rather than an individual office may have been a mistake. Sorry, but would never recommend this place.

  I had no problems reaching DNA Elite by phone. My first call was answered and I was asked questions then they called me back after finding the perfect therapist match for me. And they did. ***** in Lakeland is my therapist. She is wonderful. She has turned my life around. I hadn't seen my brother in a year even though we only live an hour and a half away from each other. We were on the outs. She helped me work through our problems and now we text and meet for lunch. That happened within a 2 month period of seeing *****. My sister and I have always had a strained relationship. I'm the baby of the family and I think there's always been some jealousy. I never knew how to handle situations with her. She would tell me things that I knew weren't true but when I defended myself, it always ended in a fight. I've learned how to choose my words, think before I speak and not accept what she says as the truth and tell her just that. There are so many other things that she has helped me work through. I'm so lucky to have found DNA Elite and been paired with *****. They are true lifesavers. And there staff are friendly and helpful. It's a serene place to go. I look forward to my appointments.
