    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! READ THE REVIEWS! Its the same story with all of their customers. They repeatedly lie and cheat people. And then, true to form, after they run out of lies they simply dont answer their phone nor return calls. How they stay in business is a mystery!

    NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY . The reviews below mine are all true. THIS COMPANY STEALS. Will not return calls, emails , pay permit fees,. Their license has expired. They talk all the right stuff if you reach them on the phone, but nothing improves.

    We have had a similar experience to others. We signed a contract back in April 2024 for a gas tank, gas line for a stove and generator installation. We were told by Nathan, one of the owners, in July that they had the gas permit but were waiting on the electrical permit. We made many more inquiries regarding status and then in mid-August we were unable to contact anyone at the company or get any responses to phone calls, texts or emails. We drove to the street address listed for the business and the space is empty. Turns out, there were never any active permits on our property and they lied about having the gas permit. We put down a $6000 deposit that we will now need to pursue legal action to attempt to recover, but we do not hold out much hope since the company and employees have seemingly disappeared. If I could give no stars, I would. Prior to signing our contract, this business had good reviews online. Were they all fake?

    Started out with this company 3 yrs ago and everything was great. Signed maintenance contracts every year . But now this year they have not done anything as far as maintenance. Called several times and emailed them and left messages but to no avail. Not sure they are even in business anymore. Even my son contacted with them about 2-3 years ago gave them a 20,000.00 dollar deposit. They haven’t done anything for him or even gotten back to him after repeated calls messages and emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    Same experience as the two clients below, Gave them $10,000, 7 months ago and still not Generator. I have take legal action as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

    As the person below, we paid 1/2 bill in Sept. he ****** has never finished, project. No where to be found. Please dont make the mistake of using these people. I will have to take legal action.

    Working with Generators by Design has been a complete disaster! We put half down on a generator over two years ago and still do not have it. Have been told by Nathan (one of the owners) since June, 2023 that it was in warehouse in Tampa and just waiting to get it shipped down to Naples. Now he does not return phone calls, text or emails. We will have to resort to legal action at this point to get them to finish our job or refund our deposit of over $15k. I strongly suggest you look at other companies for your generator! ***** Naples, FL

    Professional crew installed a whole house system and maintains it twice a year. Takes photos of everything they do for you. Very sharp !
