1 starMy husband and I thought we bought a car on Thursday night. There was a minor repair needed, we signed the papers and walked out. Saturday morning we received a call that the repair required a part to be ordered and that the car would be ready Tuesday. Late Tuesday afternoon we called, there was no return call, so my husband drove to the dealer. Come to find out, they sold the car on Monday! So unethical! No consideration, so unprofessional! Avoid this dealer!Review fromGina C

1 starI bought my car at Autonation ****** dealership (then ************** in ****. That is the only place I have ever gone for service since I bought it. I have been a faithful customer and spent thousands there and was planning on buying my next ****** there in 2023-2024. In July, I took my car in for some work and one of the things they fixed was one of my tires had a nail in it. Since I mostly work from home I do not drive much. Not long after something did not seem right with the way it drove. So I took it in, and all they found was that the same wheel THAT THEY HAD REMOVED to fix the nail the lug nuts were only hand-tightened, and over time they had worked their way looser since it was never finished off with the wrench. When I go to pick my car up and they want to charge me the $150 diagnostic fee for that. Had it been any other issue it would not have been a problem to pay that. I should not have even been there in the first place. Had they put the wheel back on correctly in July I would not have been coming in til December. After a discussion with the manager they agreed to not charge me that fee. I am lucky my wheel did not come off. Had I drove more it would have manifested itself sooner. I feel this is a particularly egregious and negligent mistake, but I was ready to put it behind me and continue being a customer. Then out of the blue, the manager said he'd put a $350 credit on my account for the future. It was after 5pm, and the person who knew how to do that would help him do that the next day. He said he would call me to confirm it was there. He never called. If he had no intention of following through on the credit he would have been better off just keeping his mouth shut. He was probably doing that to "mess with me", and as soon as I left he and the other guy likely had a good laugh at my expense.. I feel this whole incident reflects how poorly they treat female customers. Done with them AND ****** in general. Dishonest jerks.Review fromLinda P.

1 starThis review is about the platinum warranty plan that is a thing but that to me now. Paid ver good money to get bumper to bumper coverage and have owned ny new purchase 2016 ******* MKX since 2017. I wont even get into the problem I have had with the mirrors sticking since day one when you put the car in gear the open but mine open and the mirror gets stuck inside its chamber till I get out and physically push on it to get it to pop into place on the sides . Couldnt resolve problem then a very eager ***** tried to help and found a program fix for it but we had to pay out of pocket for it. They still stick by the way . However the real problem now is my driver side head light started having condensation build up in it then eventually stayed in very dimly lit after the car was parked for sometimes up to 30 minutes then later stopped working at all. Then the side marker lights same side followed along with the blinker. The service department of course, found a seal that wasnt holding and was sure the warranty would cover it until this , gentleman inspector, showed up and called this water damage that was my fault ? Seriously ! This is to the tune of somewhere around $3800.00. How is the world can an inspector say this is my fault in anyway . I literally drive my car to and from work weekdays which is 6 miles round trip, I literally have less than 34k miles in this thing and its my fault ? I was just about to renew my warranty in April but needless to say why would I ? Clearly its useless and all they do is get and pocket these funds. 3 weeks later still no car though the first week they had to close for 3 days for Hurricane *** so Ill let that go but this is robbery as sure as the inspector held a **** to me in person !Review fromdaniel b

1 starI bought a year ago a ******** **** GLE AMG 63 and now has ***** miles. It is the third time that it fails and always for the same reason: the battery runs out and leaves me on the street with no other solution than to call a crane and send it to the official service. I send it to Pembroke Pines which is where I bought it. I was reading on the internet that the problem is known to ******** ****. The problem is that the service did not solve the problem that generates the failure. Every time this happens to me it generates enormous stress, waste of time and fear that it will happen again because it fails without warning. I can not understand how a brand as prestigious as MB that now are selling 100% electric cars, can not solve the problem of a normal battery of a gasoline car and even worse do not care about improving the quality of their official services that is well below what it should be. 1 starMy tension belt in my 2021 Silverado was whining, they would not schedule it out, it was under warranty. They did the oil and tire rotation day 1 then let it sit 68th in line, when it is a minor fix. Why would you do one & not the the other?! Pulled it day 11 & took to Classic Chevrolet in grapevine had it back same day.. after spending $876 on rental and begging Auto Nation to change the belt w/ service but they apparently only want to do the work thats not under warranty. So. Take your vehicles to family owned over corporate, Classic Chevrolet will be my go to from now on & shame on Auto nation for taking advantage of loyal customers. So disappointedReview fromEmma W.

1 starI purchased my 2014 ******* Santa fe in July 2022. At the time the salesperson told me, "to schedule my complementary maintenance check before leaving." Maintenance supervisor gave me their earliest appointment September 28. On the 28th I took my vehicle in. Now complementary to me means, "no charge", but I was told either $45 for oil change or $116 for oil change and tire rotation. I repeated $45 to the technician and she said "yes". I said to only do the oil change. Since this was an unexpected expense just the $45 oil change. I received notation my car was ready cost $85. I called spoke with a technician questioned why double in pricing. Was told that I may have misunderstood what was said, there was no misunderstanding. I asked to speak with a manager, he stated he was the Manager and would have the technician contact me, she texted me and restated what the manager said, "she may have possibly said $85 and I misunderstood $45. They are the most unscrupulous people I've ever dealt with. Since I was at work I stated I would get my vehicle the following morning. Additionally, i arrived at AutoNation Thursday, Sept. 29 to a closed business no notification they would be closed due to the weather, today is Oct. 1st and I still am unable to get my vehicle. Will I be compensated for my inconvenience during this time? Is this how customers are treated? Customers integrity, comprehension and understanding questioned?Review fromJames B

1 starThe took my wired money for payment in full and sold the car to someone else while my son was in the showroom. We finalized the deal only to get a phone call late in the afternoon that the car had been sold to someone else. I not only wired they the money but spent all day securing insurance and filling out forms etc. I would give ******** **** of Delray Beach, ******* a minus five stars if I could. They do not deserve to carry the ******** ****** *****, underhanded, and deceptive. Stay away. *****************************, *****, and the manager, *********************** should be terminated immediately by the owner or ******** ********** I have been a ******** owner for 45 years and have never been so mis-treated and lied to after taking my wired money (paid in full) Run away from this dealership. ************************ Now, they can't reverse the transfer.AutoNation, Inc.

1 starBought a car from *** associates with autonation. They gave me an expired registration. I told them to update the date on the registration before the police come after me on this matter. They refused to give me one and a police office gave me a ticket in which I was lucky as opposed to him towing my car away.AutoNation, Inc.
