FedNat has continually given me the run-around since I have had issues with my home (a new build when I moved in six years ago) that eventually developed issues with mold probably due to poor construction and possibly other unknown reasons; however, I live in *******, where mold growth is covered in HO insurance, but I was refused coverage and given a difficult time by some of the "professionals" that were sent to document and investigate my mold issues. I was never sent my check after my desk adjuster told me it would be sent 7-9 business days after our discussion to my knowledge. They sent someone to check the roof and the indoor ceiling water damage, as well as document, so everything was done correctly, and I was told I was covered for the hurricane damage. I called several times and sent an email with regards to not receiving the check, and never received a response from anyone. My desk adjuster was no where in site, and his phone extensions were not accurate. I was given two different extensions. I was told by several people in the customer service claim's department that they would escalate the issue and that they would make a manager aware, and, on a separate call, a supervisor aware of the situation with my claim. I was told to wait a few days for the call back in the beginning; then I was told to call back if no response. By this time my claim was already closed by FedNat without correspondence to my inquiries. Then I spoke to someone new and they said to wait two weeks. I waitedno check, email response, voicemails, etc. This company is a FRAUD. Not only have I been mistreated, but my claims have not been covered, I've been taken advantage of, mistreated by their vendors, and my check was never sent out (so I am led to believe). Thank You.

The first adjuster assigned to our claim left the company, so they closed the case without out resolving it although they had all the information from ** for months already. The second adjuster finished the claim and sent us a check - but the company cancelled the check as soon as it was sent out. They did nit notify us if this and we presented their bad check at our bank. Now they say in **** business days we will get a THIRD adjuster. The customer service rep I spoke to does not even have a contact number for the adjuster department and told me they just receive information from that department and they have no way to contact them. I cannot obtain insurance because of this claim that is 11 months old, through no fault of mine. I live in ******* and it is hurricane season. If my house is destroyed I will have nothing, after I have paid this company for many years for coverage. And all the company can say is were sorry, wait for someone to contact you. What a horrible thing to do to people. This company should not exist in any state.

Well, well. Who would have imagined? ********* Office of Insurance Regulation has determined that FedNat is insolvent.Yet one more worthless insurance company with which the **************** has been infected. *** is supposed to protect ******* residents from predatory groups such as this; to an extent, the *** is also guilty. Meanwhile, thousands of us throughout the state are simply ignored, left holding the bag for millions of dollars in unpaid claims. It's not the economy, it's not Covid, it's not management errors. It is fraud, pure and simple. And the state will permit FedNat to get away with it. Clearly they are too well-connected to be held accountable. Congratulations, FedNat felons.

Tornado damage to our neighborhood, Fed-Nat cancelled all policies in that area not renewing any. That said my insurance expired on the 20th with them. I have a new policy. However they closed access to my account on the 20th and my claim is still in litigation. Very hard to reach. if not impossible. They did not pay all the "recoverable depreciation

value which was 10,859.26. They kept saying information not received my insurance agent ****** ******* office dropped the ball and only sent in two of the many bills. We have been with Fed-Nat a very long time and they have the policy on our current home. So disappointed waiting to receive the 4,128.77.Didn't realize they could keep recoverable

depreciation money. I went way over their original estimate wasn't going to claim any additional. I am filing with the Florida Dept. of Financial Services if nothing is settled by 8/15/, I could never reach the Fed-Nat agent handling my account. Oh I tried emailing them and it said "failed to send" contact administrator again I assume because it

    was closed prematurely.
