    Won hotel stay on an online auction for a bargain, had to pay taxes and fees and also a resort fee when checking in so all in all probably was the same price maybe slightly cheaper then booking directly

    Amazing experience! Watched an hour long video for 5 nights for "free" in ********. You only pay taxes $395 during booking. Then $225? Or so at the hotel when checking in for amenities (ie resort fee). Picked the slightly higher rated hotel out of the 2 offered. It ended up being an iconic hotel. Best parts were the island hospitality of the front desk people and other staff, amazing location - walking distance to beach and shops. And bus lines. As well as the island decor. We saved over $800 doing this. 10/10 would do again. To book you just picked some available times. I think I booked in Nov for June vacation.
