    I rented a car from One Switch, in *********************** on 11/30/2024 through 12/1/2024. I was asked for a $500.00 deposit to be refunded at time of return of the car. Car was returned on time and in same condition, as well as gas tank filled up. I got the approval to leave. I noticed a week later that the $500 was never reversed on my credit card bill. I emailed on 12/6/2024, per instructions at *****************************. The response received was that it takes 15 days for a refund. I have still not been refunded and I have emailed them another 3 times without response. I see that this seems to be a habit for them from reading other complaints Rental agreement number OSRCFLL-******

    After finally reaching them on the phone today after my complaint was filed, they did initiate the refund and I do see it pending so I should be all set.

    Been a month, still have not received my 500 dollar deposit back! Keep calling they keep saying wait another week! Would have had no complaints had a great experience but now upset about them trying to keep deposit!

    I got 3 charges from route rental, a 88.6 from expedia, a $77.49 from one switch rent a car, I assume that's the total toll fee for the 6 days. a $500 charge rom one switch rent a car should never show up on my credit card!!! Is that a secure deposit turned into an actual charge, why is still there after nearly a month??? Please dispute the charge ASAP!!!

    We apologize for the delay on the return of the security deposit. 

    The release is a automated system and not always perfect. This one just happened to slip through the cracks causing an error.

    I DROVE 45 MINUTES TO ********************* TO RETURN OUR RENTAL AT *** AND THEN GET ON A SHUTTLE BUT TO ONE SWITCH.UPON MY ARRIVAL THERE SEEM TO BE A VERY UNHAPPY AND RUDE INDIVIDUAL BY THE NAME OF *******.HE DIDT SAY HELLO WAS NOT VERY HAPPY TO SEE ME ALL HE SAID WAS DO YOU HAVE A BOOKING NUMBER.I GAVE HIM MY BOOKING NUMBER HE THEN PROCEEDED TO ASK ME FOR MY LICENSE.I GAVE IT TO HIM AND WAS ASKED IF I WANTED TO TAKE OUT INSURANCE I SAID NO MY CREDIT CARD COVERS ME FOR DAMAGES AND LIANBILTY I AM COVERED UP TO 5 MILLION THROUGH MY COMANY INSURANCE.HE THREATENED ME IF I DONT TAKE THE INSURANCE I COULD'NT RENT A VEHICLE.BECAUSE I WAS NOT FAMILIAR WHERE I WAS AS IT WAS EVENING AND DARK I FELT PRESSURED TO TAKE THE INSURANCE SO I CAN JUST GET BACK ON THE HIGHWAY AND GET BACK TO OUR PLACE.HE THEN THREATENED THAT I SHOULD TAKE A SUNPASS AS IF THEY GET DOUBLE BILLED AS I HAVE ONE I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHARGES.I WILL CALL SUNPASS TOMORROW AND MAKE SURE CHARGES ONLY GO TO MY SUNPASS.I AM A WELL TRAVELLED PERSON THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME THEY DID WITH INSURANCE BUT I WILL TALK TO MY ATTORNEY UPON GETTING HOME TO FIND OUT IF THIS IS LEGAL.AFTER FINISHING AT THE COUNTER I WAS RUDELY TOLD TO GO OUTSIDE AND MEET IF AN ATTENDANT TO GET MY KEYS.OF COURSE THEY HAVE A SMALLER VEHICLE THAN I RENTED.I TOLD ******* THAT I WOULD BE HAPPY TO UPGRADE AS WE ARE 5 PEOPLE WITH EACH HAVING I LARGE LUGGAGE PLUS CARRY ON.******* WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH IT HE DIDNT WANT TO HELP EVEN IF I WAS WILLING TO PAY FOR THE UPGRADEAN AFFILIATION WITH ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR SO I WILL TAKE THIS UP WITH THEIR OWNERSHIP AS I HAVE RENTED FROM ENTERPRISE SEVERAL TIMES AND ITS BEEN NOTHING BUT A PLEASURE.AGAIN PLEASE PLEASD PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY YOU DID DO NOT LET THE PRICE FOOL YOU ITS.     Business like others have stated has yet to refund my security deposit. The fact that this happens more often then not needs to be taken more seriously. Email after email regarding a refund has got me nowhere.

    Numerous emails back and forth,, and then they see going to close the case even though I had no resolution. Then only 1 day later my money was finally returned. 1 month later then it should have been.

    Rented a car from ******* in ******* on 12/12/24 Issues Online Rental page makes it appear that consumer is renting at the airport. Actually off-site Shuttle took 45 minutes to arrive. Upon arrival, paperwork never arrived, Had to enter manually at *************** They claim never sent by booking agent. Time form deplaning to getting into my rental approx. 2 hrs.*Had to drop off at 4:30 a.m. to catch a flight that boarded at 6:25 a.m. on 12/16/24. Called the night before and was told that there is a key drop and 24 hour shuttle service. When I arrived at 4:30 gates were locked. Called customer service and was told that they open at 6 a.m. Told I could wait until 6, risking my flight or return to airport and pay an $80 fee. I asked them to waive the fee and *** refused saying that my call the previous night was routed to ***** office and they were answering for their location. Never informed that I was not speaking to Orlando office.Customer service *** would not budge so I waited and had to run through airport and beg my way to front of security line. Was the last person to board before they closed the door. Not what I expect from a company. Will never rent from them again.

    Instead of putting a hold for security deposit, the rental company finalized a charge of $250 and has since not returned the amount even after multiple reminders. It has been almost 45 days now.Rental start date - 11/5/2024 Rental end date - 11/9/2024

    I rented a car from One Switch on November 5, 2024 and was required to pay a deposit. The service provided was subpar as the customer service representative was disrespectful and disinterested when we sought clarification about the previously undisclosed insurance requirements and questioned why my own insurance or credit card insurance would not be accepted. We made it clear that we were unhappy with the policies and the representative was dismissive at best. The contract states that my deposit was to be refunded within 30 days of the beginning of the rental agreement. I returned the car and was advised there were no concerns. The fuel tank was full and we abided by all requirements of the contract. It has been more than 30 days and I have not received reimbursement. I have emailed requesting a response indicating when I will receive my deposit back. I have had no response. I am seeking reimbursement for the deposit and damages for breach of contract in the amount of the rental charges.

    I rented a car from One Switch on October 11, 2024, and returned the vehicle Octobe4r 14, 2024. The rental agreement stated a $250 security deposit would occur at the time of rental and would be returned to me within 30 days of the return of the vehicle. As of this date (December 12, 2024) I have not received my security deposit back from One Switch. I have corresponded with the email address given on the automated response when I called to inquire. I have received email promises that my refund is "being released" but have not received. I would not rent from this provider again due to this hassle which is a shame because the employees and the shuttle service was great but am very disappointed in the security deposit issue - THAT IS NOT YOUR MONEY TO KEEP!
