      This place is a **** and fraud company. I booked my car rental through my jobs employee benefit program and paid for my rental. When I got to this scam of a place, the clerk told me either we charge you $250 on ur debit card or $240 on ur credit card as a hold for their 3rd party insurance liability. They say it's mandatory for ******* and ***** to get this insurance to drive 3rd party car rentals. I looked it up and it says this insurance is NOT MANDATORY. I ask the clerk can I use my own insurance she said it will be a $1000 deposit. Your not charging me that. I was willing to use my debit card, then I showed the clerk my reservation that I can say NO to the hard sells of additional insurance products. The clerk didn't want to accept that. Then when I walked away to try to figure out my money situation, I went back and the clerk said I do t see ur reservation and you have to pay for the rental upon arrival, with our insurance, with our toll package. I then went off as h*** I showed the clerk I already paid for my rental and having it not shown in ur system is not my problem. I showed the clerk my bank statement where the funds already came out of my bank account, I showed her the rental terms and conditions that I didn't need their Insurance. The clerk didn't accept all my proof that I shown her. I ask for the manager, the manager and supervisor is never on site, I have to email them. I left after 2 hours trying to plead with this clerk and to leave with no rental that I already paid for. I emailed the company for a refund and spoke my mind. The next morning, I got a total refund and she admitted everything, the reservation was their and they don't know why they didn't see it in their systems, that I didn't need the insurance and any other additional packages and even if u do get their insurance, they will make up excuses that when u return the car they will find issue and YOU WONT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK just book with legit sites like enterprise, hertz, or *****

      Paid for a car on Priceline. Came to pick the car up showed my insurance like I usually do at any other rental place. They inform me I need loss of use insurance or pay $30 per day extra for 11 days. Called my insurance company to add this and they said there is no such option. Asked them to cancel my reservation but they said I would lose my money. This is not acceptable conduct for a business as they did not declare this before booking. I went online to make a review and realized that 100s of other people have the same complaint. They even took 1000 deposit from my card after charging hundreds of dollars to my already paid for reservation. They need to be taken out of business or fined for these dishonest business practice. In addition to this they gave me the car on empty. Did not do a walk around before I drove off. Did not tell me also that there is an additional charge for early rental.

      We had the worst experience with this company. When choosing
      this company we were given a price with taxes and I tried to prepay to
      save time when we arrived in Miami knowing were would be in a time
      crunch to get to Key West. Never could find how to prepay, now I know
      why...when you shuttle (which their shuttle vans are very nice) over to
      the office which is very sketchy, we found very aggravated customers in
      lobby. When it was our turn, I found out why, the person at the counter
      starts telling you about all the fees that go along with the BASE PRICE.
      They do not spell any of this out before you book your rental. They
      charge you $14.99 a day for the toll package, if you refuse and go
      through any tolls at all for each toll they then charge you $25.00 per
      toll. They do not give you the option of only purchasing days that you
      know you will be going through the tolls. We could have paid for 3 days
      of tolls versus 8 days. Then they scam you with the insurance. My advice
      is to steer way away from this company and just use National, Budget,
      Avis or one of the other in airport services. Buyer beware and our
      lessons has been learned!!!

      The WORST Rental Experience EVER. I presented my *************** card for my personal 750 *** and declined the Agents Basic for $80. I was told my valid insurance would not suffice, despite bieng sufficient for the hundreds of rentals I've made from every part of *****************. The rep told me she needed to see my policy. Who carries thier Insurance Policy. After going through that, having to call my company and have them email me the policy, the agent then charged my Credit Card, not Debit, but Major Credit card, $1,000. When I asked why for a Full Size vehicle, she informed me if I had accepted thier insurance, it would have only been $250. Highway robbery to say the least. The agents attitude shifted to aggravated for the rest of the process. I have rental from probably every major rental car company, even high end vehicle rentals like SixT, and have NEVER been required to show my actual policy and have $1,000 deposit for a regular Full Size vehicle. Economy at ***** International should be ashamed of themselves to railroad customers at the counter and penalize when you don't except excessive charges. I've never had a worst rental experience in my 40 years of renting vehicle. I would advise anyone looking for a positive experience with pleasant staff and upfront, fair and affordable pricing, to remove Economy from consideration, period. They are the WORST option. Only gave One Star because it would not allow me to post without 1-5 stars. Economy should be an exception as a Star-Less review.Pastor WDB-*********, **
