  These guys left a message that sounded like they were representing ******. "An urgent problem related to your ****** business listing...." They answer the phone, not saying who they are. When I asked, they said Local Search Group LLC. and then started asking questions about my business. When I said I didn't know anything about them and wasn't answering questions until I did, they hung up. I think that tells you everything you need to know about these scammers.

We do not continue conversations with individuals who prefer not to engage, and we certainly don't force anyone to answer questions or commit to anything.

  It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding or even a mix-up with another company using similar tactics. We do not tolerate deceptive practices and are always happy to verify who we are, provide our website, or walk through our services when asked.

  One thing I know about a crappy ************* phone scam room is if your employees hang up on potential sales simply because they aren't stupid and ask questions like " what is the name of your company" you probably won't last long. Especially when your try to sell people on a FAKE service that anyone who has a registered business can do themselves. Buyer Beware. Said part is they will continue until they **** enough people off or get raided. 99% of S. Florida phone rooms are full of kids in drug treatment or halfway houses. That is a FACT. Please learn real sales and try again. This company and others like it will never ever last.

  Thanks for sharing your thoughts - though were a bit confused by some of the claims. You mentioned being hung up on right after asking the name of our company yet somehow knew exactly who to file a complaint against. ??
  

  
  To be clear, weve been in business for nearly a decade, proudly helping thousands of local business owners take control of their online presence. Yes, the tools exist for people to manage things themselves - but just like taxes, legal filings, or marketing, many prefer to hire professionals who specialize in getting better, faster results.
  

  
  As for your comments about our team: we dont know where that stereotype came from, but its simply not true. We hire and train professionals who are expected to treat every business owner with respect, regardless of the outcome of the call.

  
  We get it...sales calls arent for everyone. But calling something a scam just because you werent interested isnt fair. If there was a specific issue, wed be happy to address it. Until then, well stay focused on doing great work for the clients who actually know us.

  I have a completely different experience than others reviewing here. Yes, I was skeptical at first, but gave Local Search Group a shot, seeing I needed a lot of help. They got my listing up and running in just under 3 weeks when I wasnt able to myself in over 4 months. Ive had no issues contacting them (which is big for me because I have a lot of questions). They answer each time I call. Thanks again Local Search Group!

  This company is a total ****. After taking my money and claiming a few times they were working on the problem of getting my website listed properly in ****** Search listings, I called them to account and they stopped responding. Their customer service number no longer works (coincidentally after I tried calling them to ask for their corporate address in order to file a BBB complaint). BBB reports the company is out of business or their listed address is not working. What bunch of ******** and *******.
