      I came in for an eye exam with the intention of reusing my existing frames for my new prescription. Without my consent, a staff member, ***, attempted to "fix" my frames and ended up breaking them. I never authorized any repair as there was nothing wrong with them, he simply took my glasses to the front and I was not specifically told what he was doing as I was waiting in the back alone for my eye exam which took over an hour. I was then told they would be repaired and ready by 7:00 AM the next day and *** would be there before opening to give them to me. I showed up on time like promised only to find the store still closed even after waiting 45 minutes for him to show up. I had to go to work without my glasses, which severely impacted my ability to function as I could not properly see.Due to being stuck at work, my sister then went to the store to pick them up for me, to which *** then lied to her saying that they were not broken, said unfortunately he could not be here at 7am despite never communicating to me that he would not show up, and lied that we agreed that he would drop them off for me, despite me never divulging any information that would allow him to do so. If my glasses had truly been fixed by the promised time like he stated they would be, she would have been able to go in and get them quickly but she had to wait over 30 minutes as he went to go find them in the back. When he then finally brought my glasses back out, he told her that she needed to pay for the services despite him breaking my glasses without my permission.The lack of communication, disregard for my property, and failure to follow through on their promise was unacceptable. I still havent received a proper resolution or compensation. I would not recommend this store to anyone who values professionalism, accountability, or basic customer service.

      That was the most unprofessional eye examination I have ever had do not like the virtual examination and when I went back to get my glasses here you go come back again and my wife they made the wrong lenses for her and had to wait on them to make some more just a rotten experience and will not be going back

      Over priced and customer service is very poor and unpleasant and unprofessional ai was welcome with a ghetto attitude from male customer service agent iam a black American male 60 years old and this was sad to believe his unprofessionalism.

      Terrible customer service. I did my eyeglasses there once. It till them over 2 months to get them and now almost 4 years later never been there before they harassing me with calls to schedule an appointment. When called to have them removed me and enforce my privacy rights the guy without collecting my info he just say have a good day and transfer me to a survey. Guess the survey he got!!!! I will not recommend this business to anyone

      Dont purchase glasses from My Eye Lab on Monroe St. near ******. I ordered these glasses from there. When I went to pick them up, this is how they were given to me. The arms were completely stretched out of shape. I place them on my face and they immediately fell off. There was NO effort made to adjust them to ensure they were an adequate fit. They were just handed to me. I wish these glasses could be returned and my insurance company refunded. They even requested I give a positive review. After thinking about my experience, I decided to post a complaint. I cant wear these glasses.DONT PATRONIZE MY EYE LAB ********* **** ******, ****.

      I want to express my frustration with this business, and to warn people about this store. My Eye Lab ******* Optical In Kedall Drive *****.They are so bad they have changed their business name again.I order 2 pairs of glasses and paid $688 out of my pocket and its been less than a year and both glasses have glue coming out from all around the lenses.I brought the glasses to the store and they dont want to replace the lenses they want to charge me an additional fee for a defective product knowing they make the lenses with bad quality material.The Store manager was ignoring me and didnt even bother to resolve the problem, she only wants people to pay, I called their support team they provided me with a case number and nothing has been done.I need my glasses and I am not receiving the service I need.

      I cannot give negative so 1 star will have to do. I received an eye exam and ordered glasses only to find out the prescription was too strong. I returned the glasses....and am still waiting for a refund. Calling customer service is useless because they don't know anything. I was on hold almost 10 minutes for you to come back and give me no answer because the store manager is out and you don't know who that is...why is it taking g a month for me to get a refund?

      BIG MISTAKE TO GO TO MY EYELAB at *******************************************************. The Optometrist is in another country and the visit was done over the internet. They couldn't give me the results of my exam because they were waiting on the Optometrist. The staff next door has no idea what they are doing, it took forever to get the order written up. I was told it would be **** day's worst-case scenario 14 days. The phone number listed isn't to reach the location you are searching for. They have many local phone numbers to make you think you are talking to someone in the ***. You are not speaking to anyone in *******.I tried to escalate my call; ******** was refused. This is not a company that you want to do business with ever. All people that working are from another country. The reason they say that it takes so long in ***** is because is because they do quality work there. I believe they are making them in another country. If you want affordable glasses and get them in 2 hours go to Eye Mart, they make them why you wait.If I could give MY EYELAB a lower rating I would.

      I made the mistake of saying how much $ I had on my insurance card, and was overcharged, almost $600 for 2 pair of glasses, not even transition lenses. After realizing I had been overcharged, I confronted the manager and was refunded $400. Told I would still get the glasses. It's been ALMOST 4 MONTHS. I still only have 1 pair of glasses. They are the worst optical store I have ever been to, and I have been wearing glasses for 50 years.

      Dishonest high pressure sales and they did not provide me an itemized receipt/invoice at the time of purchase. They provided me a quote for 6 & 12 month supply including discounts. Pricing seemed competitive so I agreed to purchase the "full year." I further clarified, I would recieve a full year to include BOTH eyes and was reassured this was for a full year both ***** eye. When I arrived to pickup my contacts, I noticed it was significantly short. Apparently, I had been lied to and intentionally not provided an itemized bill of sale. They charge twice MSRP and therefor can easily mislead you. They also refused to provide a refund. The ease at which they misled me in addition to coincidently not providing an itemized bill and the lack of tranparency during the pitch makes this appear to be a well coordinated scam. I will be disputing the charge and never return. Also a great reminder of the importance of an itemized receipt.
