I am filing a formal complaint against Simply Listed Marketing for fraudulent and deceptive business practices. I made several attempts to contact the company via email and phone. Despite my efforts, they have completely ignored me and continue to make themselves unavailable, offering no explanation, updates, or accountability. This experience has not only resulted in financial loss but also significant frustration and wasted time. Their lack of communication, unprofessional behavior, and failure to provide any service leads me to believe that this company is engaging in fraudulent activity. I am breaking down all the payment below and days.1. SEO Program - $850.00 (Paid November 5,2024)I paid $850.00 for a complete *********** package that was supposed to include:SEO optimization Top-performing content and keywords Backlinks Funnels to generate traffic Unfortunately, ******* did not deliver these services. I have not received any reports or proof of work done. I called many times for this report. After checking my ****** Search Console, its clear that no SEO work has been implemented.2. BirdEye Package - $190.00 Later, they used a tactic to sell me a program. I purchased an additional $190.00 BirdEye program, but only received a simple code for review collection. This does not justify the cost of the package, and no additional value was provided.3. I respectfully disagree with your statement. It is not true that I have refused calls or video conferences. In fact, I have email records showing that I called your company and was transferred repeatedly between departments, with no one taking responsibility or providing clear answers.
When I demanded to see the work your team had completed, I was met with evasiveness. I followed up with an email reiterating my request and despite this, I received no response and no follow-up call.
As proof, I have attached the email follow-up mentioned above, which clearly documents my effort to communicate and resolve the matter professionally.
Given this context, I find the refund offer insufficient considering the lack of transparency and failure to deliver on your end.

I was initially sold a service that would creat and online footprint for my buisness. For 399 I would have an acutate ****** listing that would be brought up if certain "key words" were searched. I gave it time then called as I saw no result I was then talked in to the power listing program . I gave it time and still 2 months later I don't even have a ****** listing. had a great one on one with **** where I provided proof and evidence of no ****** listing what few platforms I was listed on my information was far from accurate nor the same between platforms I have screen shots of one place I'm a HVAC contractor another I'm a plumber wrong phone number, apparently I restore classic cars in ********. **** assured me some one will be working endlessly to correct the issue. I understand this doesn't happen over night I have plenty of knowlage and experience in marketing and I get it. I told **** I would take him for his word and asked what the time frameI should expect and when I should be farming buissness. **** said typically it take 3-5 months before calls start comeing in. I said great set meeting for the end of that time frame and let revisit I understand it takes time and ill work based off your time line you gave.Time past and finally I saw my ****** listing and it was and infact still is showing me as a ************* Mind you I'm a dirt contractor....yahoo yelp and several other still worng info as before. I sent an email with screen shots expressing my concern in a professional manner. They said they'd look into it. It was promised I'd see progress reports and numbers showing how many clicks or views or activity I had on my listing's I asked numerous times for this report and have yet to see one.Finally at the end of this time frame the same wrong info is still in the same platforms and now more. After I made the complaint inwas contacted by **** and we discussed a resolution i was told I'd be given a FULL refund. I explained a refund doesn't correct all the false information that's been posted across 75+ platforms! All over the internet is my buissness with incorrect information that is affecting my buisness in a negative way. How is 750 bucks going to correct the damage this has caused. On the phone with **** as he looked into this and I could here it in his voice recognizing how badly screwed up it is he said he'd fix it. He has not I have not been refunded and ive made multiple attempts to reach out and have email proof of so.

I don't want it to fall off BBB radar. Also to say **** will call me by the end of the week is a joke I don't have enough fingers and toes to tell you how many times ive herd that and not happen ive attached some of the screen shots of our email threads and some of the emails asking multiple times for help, resolution, pointing out in detail the failures and I get no response no attempt or even an offfer to help fix the issues. FROM MY ORIGINAL COMPLAINT YALL HAVE STILL YET TO RESOLVE ANYTHING THE LAST TIME YOU HAD **** CALL ME the level of incompetence in this company is embarresing it amazes me how you remain in buisness. I ********* in this company to help promote my buisness, get the phone ringing. Chance after chance ive givin yall to make it right. This program was supposed to "pay for its self" wanna take a guess how many leads its produced me? NONE not a single phone call not even to extend my cars warrenty call. Power listing was supposed to have me in the top 10 after searching key words and still to this very day im lucky to show up on page 30 that's if I show up at all! BBB should really look into this cause im certain im not the only poor small buisness owner that's been taken advantage of by these people.the ONLY resolution that ill except at this point, last time I was offered a full refund, i said it'd be nice but i didnt care about the money i just wanted to be provided the service i had paid for, each month i paid for and to show me what simply listed can really do. Well yall didnt do a darn thing but ignore my calls and emails so now yeah i want my money back and ALL my info corrected on ALL platforms the amount of time ive had to invest in trying to get yall to fix this is so rediculous the fact ive had to go and search directories to see if its been done yall should be reimbersing me for doing what you pay other people to do

I was using Simply Listed Marketing for over a year. I became concerned when after a number of months, I reached out and didn't hear anything back. I continued to email my representative only to find out that he didn't work at the company, and had been let go some time ago. I am concerned as without someone running my account, how was it ethical that they were charging me? I emailed them to cancel my account (10/15/24), and yet I was still charged (11/7/24) for another $149. I was assured by "****" that it would be refunded, yet when I email him, he is also not responsive. At this point, I'm not sure if he even works at the company anymore. I can't get any answers as to 1) what was done on my account for the time I didn't have anybody managing it, and 2) why won't they refund me money they charged when they agreed to do so.Business Response

We have been in communication with either you or a representative from your office 2-3 times per month over the last year. We also refunded you the amount of $149 that you asked for (see attachements direct from our merchant). Your account was managed by multiple people on our team throughout your subscription and enrollment period with Simply Listed. And the money you have requested was refunded ALONG with 2 other payments which you did not request.
In summary, you requested to be refunded a one month of subscription cost of $149 and we actually refunded (3) payments of $447. This is all attached to this response.

Purchase the listing almost a year ago for $ 1200 they promised I would get lots of calls. Call me back a month later and said for $200 more my listing would be listed more. He didn't tell me that it was $200 a month. After 3 months go by I noticed it on my statements and I called them and they said they were working on it and if they would call me back. Thw manager **** was supposed to call me and never did so I called them today and spoke to a gentleman named **** and he laughed at the situation and told me that **** is going to tell him not to set up the meeting and that no one can help me with my situation. So I called back and spoke to another manager named ****** and she pretty much told me the same thing. Its been almost a year in my phone has not rang once. They are taking advantage of people and need to be STOPPED. I told them I just want my phone to ring or I want my money back. I paid for a listing and it's not working. Please help. Certainly! Here's the revised text:We engaged Simply Listed, LLC to help get our ****** Business listed at the top. We were unverified before, and they assured us they could assist. On 7/10/24, we paid Simply Listed, LLC $299 to unify our profile for over 70 search engines. On 7/11/24, $599 was deducted from our account as a one-time fee for Simply Listed, LLC to manage our ****** account. We then paid a $149 monthly fee on 7/25/24.On 8/5/24, our ****** Listing was still not verified, so I contacted **** via email and sent our facility's address and government documents to them. Our ****** Business showed as verified about a week later.On 8/29/24, the ****** Business "Northern Elderberry" was suspended. Thus far, we have paid Simply Listed $1200 and have not seen any results.Simply Listed, LLC claims they sent receipts for all our payments. Business claims to help manage online presence with ******* We cancelled in September 2023 after seeing no work was done to our online profile. I have spoken to the company several times requesting a list of changes made. They have assured me such a list exists and would be easy to produce- but have never sent anything. I have left several messages requesting a call back with no response. First follow up meeting with them after signing up in April 2023 I voiced concerns about lack of changes and was told just give it time.We paid 199 a month from May 2023-September 2023 Start up fee was 499. They have not done anything with our account. They know they cannot prove they did anything with the account. We truly apologize that this was the experience that you had with Simply Listed. We do everything in our power within the constraints of ****** and also the 75 directory platforms to ensure satisfaction.
We did in fact try to reach out to you on numerous occasions, both during your time with us, and after your cancellation date on 9/21/23. If you look at the file attached labeled "****** Call Record Primary", you will see that there were *********************************************************** regard to your account.This was after the fact that you had cancelled services with us and we still worked on your needs and the things that needed changes or corrections. I have attached to this an activity record of all the directories for your business, Guardian Institute of Martial Arts, and ****** optimization tasks that were completed.
We are unsure of where we missed the mark here. We have contact records (even after cancellation of program) and also valid proof of work that was completed for services that were purchased.
Please let us know how we can further assist and help if needed for any digital marketing needs for Guardian Institute of Martial Arts. We do everything possible to follow through and complete work that was presented and purchased for each and every one of our customers.

I am rejecting this response because: You cite the call log you sent over and state "We made 14 attempts to contact you." 13 out of the 14 attempts were calls placed from me to you. There was never a return call made from your company, every single call I placed to you left a request for a call back. You did not provide the requested documents 11 months ago when the request was first made to show what work was done on our account.You have reached out 8 months after the complaint was originally closed because you failed to respond in the first place.
You have gone above and beyond to prove that you DO NOT provide customer service, you are NOT responsive to requests from your customers, and CANNOT provide documentation showing work was done on your end.

We are confident we did perform the work that was promised however, we do concede that the communication on our end could have absolutely been better. Thus, a refund for all monthly charges we believe is fair to come to an agreement.
