Beware- These guys will rip you off. I had purchased a computer for a ********* Van from this company in 2018, and it worked just the way it should. When I sold that vehicle and bought another of the same model in 2019, I bought a backup computer from ***** to have with me, in case the one on board failed as the last one had. ( I travel far, and always carry an extra alternator, starter, water pump, all belts, etc. . . for this Class B RV in case something breaks down) Last month (03/2025), I sold this vehicle, and had this spare computer- which I had purchased for $350 from ***** through this company. I called him and told him that I had this computer, and he told me to send it back to him and he would buy it back. So I sent it to him. I heard nothing for two weeks. I called and they told me repeatedly that he was out to lunch. I finally spoke to him once on the phone. . . he was very elusive, and said he would call me back later. Now he refuses to answer when I call, and he won't call me back. They robbed me, and won't correspond with me. In the case of a few bucks, it wouldn't matter, but I paid him $350 dollars for this item, and at HIS request I returned it only to be scammed. He got the money AND the computer.Initial Complaint

Purchased rebuilt ECM June 2024, received 1st ECM on 7/3/24 that was for the wrong engine, so obviously not built for my truck and VIN#, returned 7/5/24 was told would receive a replacement asap. Received 2nd ecm a replacement middle of July it was not communicating with truck returned 7/23/24. Received 3rd ecm replacement end of august 2024, installed and truck was still not communicating with ECM Returned on 9/9/24. I called 4 times left messages with no response. On 10/16/24 at 11:08am spoke with **** said hed check when he arrived at work. Never responded. Called On 10/23/24 12:23pm spoke with ****** said *** would be built and ship within two days. Never received. On 11/24/25 spoke with **** said he would check with ***** and let me know. No response. Called multiple times with no responses, phone answered without identifying Buisness that Im speaking with transferred without anyone telling me they are transferring only to be given to voice mail. Called today 2/4/25 at 2:51pm answered without identifying Buisness and transferred to voicemail. Called back at 3:01 asked to speak with ***** as I had spoken with him before and was sent to voice ******* this point this company needs to refund my purchase price of $1050 plus they have my original ECM as a core which also has value.Initial Complaint

11-13-24 purchased a computer for my vehicle. 11-14-24 decided to cancel the order after reading all the complaints. 11-20-24 was told refunds take 7-10 business days. A car computer was ordered online at autocomputerexchange.net for $395.95 with a special request that it be programmed properly for my vehicle or it wouldn't work (security feature disabled). When I finally got the part (it was delayed by a month) it was unusable because it was not programmed properly. I called multiple times trying to determine how to get a refund or replacement. They were unwilling to give me information on either. Finally their customer service said to just ship it back to them. I did that at my own expense ($18) and tracked it through ***** Once I received confirmation that they had received the part from ***** I called and verified with them that they had in-fact received the part.After that they have refused to talk to me. I have not received a refund. Whenever I call I get placed on hold until I hang up. Now they have both my money and the part and I have nothing..I know now that this is a common tactic that they use (after reading reviews online) with hundreds of people. I'm not sure how they are in business, but I am hoping the BBB can help me get my money back.Initial Complaint

On or about September 2023 we sent a fuel injection module for our 2005 ***** Duramax truck. We paid $550.43 for the part to be repaired. They told us an estimate time of repair would be 2 to 3 weeks. We have called several times and if they answer the phone tell us that someone will call us back and they never do. We have been calling almost every weel over the past 8 months with no resolution. They have our part so we can not get another one. They also have our money. I purchased a automotive computer over the phone from ***** on 10/16/23 for ****** paid with my credit card, I received it in about a week, plugged it in and it had codes because it was not programmed correctly, I called ***** and he told me to call the customer service number that he text me, called and spoke to the lady that always answers the phone, she told me to send it back for an exchange so I did, I received a different one about two weeks later, I plugged it in and it was worse than the first one, called her again and told me send it back, I send it back for a refund and they received it on 11/16/23, I called to ask about my refund and she said I had to wait until 12/16/23 for my refund, today is 1/2/24 and still no refund, I have called like 20 times and they keep giving me the run around saying the bookkeeper is not in, no one is in that could help you, I called the owners ***** and ***** a few times and they blocked me. They mailed me damaged product and when I returned it for a refund no one can do anything about it.Business Response

I purchased a *** for my 2011 dodge grand caravan in April 2023. I had my mechanic put the part in and diagnose it, the part worked for a week then went bad. I contacted the company auto computer exchange and they reassured me they'd help. I told them I don't want another part I just want refund. They reassured me I would once I return the faulty part. I tracked the item and *** showed they received it on May 16 2023. I contacted auto computer exchange again and they were very rude and hung up on me. I returned the bad part so I would just like my refund. The *** part cost me $819.Business Response

Called Auto Computer Exchange, on Wednesday 4/19/23, to see if they had an Cummins EMC in stock. The man that answered said they did have the item needed in-stock!!! I ask for over night shipment. He told me he would ship it out on 4/20/23 and is would arrive on Saturday 4/22/23 I paid them $1489.00 via credit card. The payment was to cover the *** item and shipment.Item did not show up on 4/22/23 I called Auto Computer Exchange to let them know the item didnt show up I ask for tracking number so I could check on location of shipment, since item did not arrive.Man at business said he would check on it and get back with me He did not return call I called them again Was told there was a problem and it was going to be here Thursday 4/27/23 before 8pm4/27/23 No delivery again!!! I called Auto Computer Exchange again I told them that I still hadnt received the item!! I asked again for the shipping number and name of shipping company and I would fine out what the hold up was. The man hung up on **** have tried several times to get ahold of them they will not answer my phone callsIts Friday 4/28/23!!! No delivery!!!
