      This place has basically no one working there or answering the phone or email. The customer service is a joke. The last two weeks of boxes we got the wrong meals. We count on their service to give us the meals we selected. We happened to want all low carb, they send us all high carb options we did not choose. I've emailed twice and called so many times, no response. I cancelled on the site and if we are not refunded for the last two boxes of food we couldnt eat, I'm contesting the charges with *****. The charges were $****** from today (10/20) and ****** from last week (10/12). I've been a customer since July.

      I started purchasing Eat Clean meals in about July 2023 and enjoyed the meals, which led me to continue to purchase the meals. Some time in September, I changed my card information from my checking to my credit card. One or two weeks later, my credit card was charged $152.39 on 7/19/23, which was correct. However, my debit card was also (incorrectly) charged $152.39 on 7/21/23. I called sometime in August to explain the situation and was told I would be refunded in **** days. On 9/19/23, I called back again to check on the status and was told by a supervisor that I would receive the refund in 3 days. Now, on 10/20/23, I am trying to call both the customer service and billing lines and just sit on hold without reaching anyone.At the end of the day, I just want my $152.39 refund that was incorrectly charged and where I received nothing. I also cancelled my membership online today and need to make sure that is done correctly based on some of the complaints/reviews I have seen.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I received a call on Saturday, 10/21/23, and was unable to answer.  No voicemail was left, so I called back today and talked to a representative and her first response was "did someone leave a message?".  After talking to *******, she acknowledged that there was a double charge as noted previously.  She asked which card to refund it to and noted that she will have it refunded, but will need someone to handle (I assume approve) the refund.  She asked for me to give her a couple of days before it is in my account.  Once, and if, I receive the money in my bank account, I will respond back to this chain.  Unfortunately, this is the 3rd time I have been told it will be refunded and it is extremely frustrating to have to sit on hold each time for about 30 minutes (today it was 28min) to try and resolve an issue that should have been resolved already.

      I am rejecting this response because:  This is not the full refund amount. I was told that the full $152.39 that was incorrectly charged would be refunded.  I was only refunded $85.19 which is $67.20 less than the amount that should have been refunded.

      In response to your message, I already confirmed the amount that was credited to my bank account, which was the same as the amount Eat Clean said they were refunding.  This WAS NOT the correct refund amount as it was $67.20 less than the amount that should have been refunded. This is what I stated when I rejected the business' response.

      1. I joined Clean Eat to go, chose meals, provided payment information on 10/01/2023. I was unable to review all the meals unless I signed up for meals.2. I then cancelled membership 10/01/2023 after seeing all the meals and decided I didn't like the lack of variety.3. I received a cancellation email 10/01/2023.4. The website said "the subscription is cancelled. Only paid orders before cancellation will be delivered. No more orders will be delivered and no more charges will be posted to your account. For any more information, contact customer support.5. Five days later, 10/06/2023, my bank account had a withdrawal of $250. AND $55. to Clean Eat To Go 6. I contacted them 10/06/23 and spoke to ****** I was assured I would have reimbursement within 5-8 business days. I asked for email correspondence of confirmation. It was never received.7. I called for an update on 10/12/2023 and spoke to "Mikala." My reimbursement request is "under review". She could not see why $250. was withdrawn and commented "it was a mistake." I again asked for email confirmation of this exchange and from the billing person managing my reimbursement request. No email was sent.8. Final call 10/19/23. Still no reimbursement or email contacts. I was informed they "tried" to reimburse me but ran into problems. They did not reach out to me in any way. I did not get a name of person on the phone. They would not let me speak to the person managing the reimbursement. I don't trust they did anything.9. I claim deceptive advertising as my subscription was cancelled 10/1 and funds were withdrawn 10/6 which goes against their website claim.10. I claim theft of personal property as without authorization, they accessed my bank account and stole $305. Since my subscription was cancelled, they had no right to access my personal funds.

      This is the same response they have been giving me for the past 20 days. They have never called me, even after I left messages. When I spoke with them personally, they refused to allow me to speak with anyone who could initiate the refund. 

      I will not drop this complaint until they refund the unauthorized $305. they withdrew from my bank account. My next step is to file charges for theft if they do not follow through with what they say they will do.

      I suppose I am confused as to why the case is closed. The business response was: MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:

      If you read my complaint, they took $305. out of my bank account on 10/06. Which is a day later than the "voided charge" from 10/5. The business lied to you when they said they spoke with client. They NEVER reached out to me. They NEVER spoke with me regarding refunding me the $305. When I called the company and actually spoke with a rep, they would NOT transfer me to the person who was supposedly trying to reach me. They flat out LIED to you. I also don't understand why they are not able to refund the $305. just because I contacted the BBB. They are a slimy company who has no ethics. If the BBB feels satisfied with the business' response and actions (lack thereof plus lies) compared to my original complaints and attachments of time line trying to address this on my own, then so be it. I just filed a charge dispute with my bank on Friday, 11/17/23, and hopefully I will be reimbursed with that approach. 

      I have read reviews on line about this company over charging and not refunding customers. People need to know what they are getting into before giving this company money. I hope this will negatively affect their rating with the BBB. They have NOT accommodated my "wishes," they have NOT spoken with me like they told you they did, and they accessed my bank account without authorization and stole $305. which is flat out theft. They need to be held accountable.

      was supposed to receive order by ***** from this company on oct 1st . still haven't received the order . have gotten nowhere with ***** so I contacted eat clean multiple times . the package was delivered to the wrong address so ***** told me after their investigation that I would have to contact the shipper to get this resolved. I have contacted eat clean multiple times and they told me that a replacement shipment would be sent and I would receive it on thursday oct 4th . still not received. called again and they said would contact ***** and call me back that was two days ago no call back called again next day and . I was given a tracking number that was not a valid tracking number. called again yesterday and they said would look into this again and get back to me . still haven't heard from them. I paid ***** for this package.

      I signed up for eat clean. They seemed to have good, clean vegan meals at a good price point. I was concerned about the labeli g before I signed up but decided to give it a try. I got my first order snd some boxes didn't have labeling and I am a vegan and will not eat food that isn't labeled properly. Plus, they cannot possibly be having it evaluated by a third part because the nutrition labels are all messed up and not clear or transparent. They have no way to contact them. They have no customer service, no email address on their site. They only have. A phone number and you are on hold forever. The only way i found an email was by Googleing it and no one ever responded to correct my order. It's like they have no one at their company working. Once signing up they take your money and don't respond and certainly cannot have had their food regulated by the **** standards for labeling and understanding the proper nutrition facts. They need to be transparent.If they've been in business 9 years...these complaints should have been addressed!

      I contacted Eatclean in August regarding my mealprep delivery. It was late and I was missing meals from my order. I spoke with a gentleman in customer service. He told me that he would give me a refund for the mistake. On Sept. 1, Eatclean debited my account $61.91 (this is in addition to the $152.39 I pay for my meals weekly). I called and spoke with the same gentleman on Sept. 1 to tell him of the error. He told me he would issue a refund. I never received a refund and then on Sept. 14 I called and spoke with a woman in billing to explain that I had never received a refund. She told me she would issue a refund that day. To my surprise, the next day, they once again debited my account for another $61.91! I called and left a voicemail since they rarely answer the phone (that is the only way to contact them). No one has returned my call. So now I am out an additional $123.82 and I never received the initial refund I was promised.

      I cancelled my subscription via their website 3 weeks ago, however it didn't take apparently. When I realized I was getting another shipment, I tried to contact them. Of course, it being a weekend, they didn't answer. I left a message on the voicemail and never did hear back from them. I went to the website where it said I had an active account. I tried 3 seperate times again to cancel my subscription with no luck, it never would save even though it said I had cancelled. This morning, Monday, I was able to talk with someone. I explained what all had happened and she continuously told me that I didn't cancel. I tried to explain over and over again with no understanding. I didn't want the meals for several reasons, they really weren't the diet I needed, I had no room in my freezer, and they didn't taste very good. So she could see that I went on the website one day but not all the times I tried to cancel. Again. I thought when it said I had can cancelled there was no reason to worry. The lady basically said I should have called, Ok well then why do you have the option to cancel on the website if it doesn't work. Now I'm out of pocket for something that I do not want, I asked if I could return them and basically was told no. I do not appreciate the lack of understanding and the rudeness that I received. I also do not appreciate being talked to like I was lying. I will never order from them again. Guess Ill just throw these in the trash, like the last order.

      I just wanted to follow up with the fact that they wouldn't help me as it was already in transit, however, I didn't receive any product last week as I was told it would be there on Wednesday. I filed a claim with my bank and am waiting on that. Yesterday, 9/18/23, I get home to two boxes of this food, one that didn't make it the first go round and another one. I had nothing to do with the fact that the first one didn't arrive, but why would you resend week old food that im sure with the temps so high wouldn't be any good anyway. they sent me the other box 2 day shipping with **** after I have cancelled or tried to a total of 5 times. Now I just have no use whatsoever to eat this! it doesn't taste good and now Im concerned that I would get sick. So literally, throwing it in the garbage.

      They will try to charge your account over and over again. On August 27th they took ****** out of my account, and noshipment of food. I called them and they gave me the run around. I told them to refund my money and to cancel. The guy couldn't give me an explanation as to what happened. Also they repeatedly try to charge your card at random times.

      I tried a new weekly meal prep delivery service with no long term contract. I placed my 1st order on 7/27. Upon receiving my first delivery on 8/2, I tried a few of the meals but I decided I did not like their food. I canceled my subscription on the same day, 8/2. The only option was to cancel on their website. It appeared to be simple and it appeared to go thru. I've since received 3 more deliveries. I've called them to dispute the delivery and explain what was happening. It was very evident the rep was reading a script b/c she never verified any of my information and kept telling me my subscription had been canceled. I would repeat myself explaining that I had received a 3rd delivery and that it was not canceled. She just kept saying that it was canceled and that I had already been charged for a 2nd delivery and that I would not get another delivery. I explained several times that it was not true and why it was not true b/c I canceled the first day I received my first delivery yet received a 3rd delivery. The rep was just regurgitating the same words with no meaningful responses. Today I received a 4th delivery. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was sent to a voicemail. I've tried calling again but just getting voicemails. They do not list an email online nor do they have a message form. The only way to contact them is by calling. I am checking emails and realized that I have never received any email confirmation for the delivery or cancellation. I am disputing the charges with my bank. I have also checked when I was charged and I canceled before the 2nd charge occurred. My initial cancelation was before I was charged for the 2nd delivery. Even if I had not canceled my account, they promised to deliver on the same day. Yet, I received each delivery on a different day of the week and always later in the week than promised. But that is a moot point since I had been trying to cancel upon receipt of the 1st delivery.

      I initially order on June. 10 2023 and was charged the 67 dollars for 10 meals. They were supposed to get here to me on June 21. The delivery kept getting delayed every day until July 5th. I was charged again on June 22nd that was supposed to be delivered on June 28th, I have no Idea what happened to that order, but I never received it. I canceled my account, but I never received a confirmation email, so I don't have the exact date, but I called on the June 30th to complain and just get my money back. Little did I know that I was charged again on the June 29th for a third order. Which hey that one arrived on the 7th which was also late because the 5th was the expected date for that one too, and the meals were damaged. I keep trying to call now but no one answers anymore, and I don't know what to do. I'm out near 300 dollars and received 10 damaged meals and no one to speak to. After inspection of the *** delivery, the first two deliveries were sent back to ******* and Still no refund.
