      Ordered and 48in x 48in hurricane shutter fro Maximium Shutters or Hurricaneshutters.com back on08/23. Got the run around they were having supply issues! Okay, I can understand that. Then I get a notification stating shutter was ready to go to production, please pay $975 on Jan 19,2024. Sent email to ************************************* on March 26,2024, she replied back stating it should take 3 weeks! Sent another Email on April 26,2024, well beyond her 3 week target date, requesting a refund! Now Im being ghosted!

      Through the ********** program Maximum Shutter Systems, **** came out to do and estimate and I got my patio shutters installed by Maximum Shutter Systems, **** The shutters were installed October 26,2022.When it rains the water floods my patio backing up into my living room. There is no draining track to let the water outside to run off. There need to be a way for the water to run off. They have been very uncooperative about help to resolve or even coming out to look at the issue.

      company cashed $778 check in April 2023 after I signed off and paid a 'deposit' invoice for 1 hurricane roll down shutter. Have never been able to contact them again - multiple email, multiple phone calls, multiple messages. ***** They also operate as HurricanShutters.com. I intend to pursue legal action for the fraud check cashed and contact web registrars to shutdown website.

      Purchased a Condo where a hurricane sliding door was installed on the day of closing around april of 2023. The door handle broke in late May and the company keeps giving me the run around for a warranty replacement. Have sent 5 emails trying to get a resolution and called 10 times to try and get a resolution. My last two calls have been sent directly to voicemail.

      I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about the company, not coming out to fix installation that they had done. I received a phone call the very next day where the representative of the company called to understand the problem and he asked me if I would go to the inserts that I have a problem with to attempt to fix them myself, I reluctantly agreed to do that and tried. What he wanted me to do is pull the concrete inserts out of the concrete or screwdriver, I was unable to do that. I reached back out to him via text to report that I was unable to remove the inserts as he instructed. He was going to re-resend me the answers to put them back in myself, which I didnt think that was right way to go, but I thought I would try and when I reported that I was unable to pull them out , I havent heard back from him. Its been two days now where he was contacting me quickly within an hour now Ive not heard back from them.

      In June 2022, I ordered five shutters from maximum shutters for my home in ********** ******* at a cost of $5500. I did not receive delivery for 4 months of these custom-made shutters and when I did receive the delivery three of the five shutters were damaged and had to be sent back to maximum Shutters for repair. Its now been over three weeks and I keep getting told by maximum Shutters that they will be here next week week after week. I have been communicating with the owner of the company and he keeps telling me week after week that they will be done the next week and yet I still dont have my shutters. We are going on 5 1/2 months at this point I have been through one hurricane and one tropical storm and have no shutters for my home other than the two that were delivered that were not damaged. All I would like to have is the shutters I paid for and would like to also let people know that maximum Shutters **************** practices are poor at best..
