  My experience with MAPS Modeling Studio was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and truly made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The studio itself was clean, well-organized, and operated with a level of professionalism that exceeded my expectations. They provided valuable guidance and support, and I left feeling confident and excited about my modeling journey.   I had a great time at MAPS Studio! I was very welcomed immediately, I was heard through my consultation, It felt like I got the whole princess experience! I was able to explain my budget and what I was looking to have put together for my portfolio and we came to an agreement on a package. The shoot itself was amazing, great energies working together to create beautiful work and capture genuine moments and feelings! My portfolio is exactly as expected, the price we agreed to and the service was very professional! I highly recommend MAPS for all of your photography needs!

  I initially received an email from someone named ***** at Maps Studio, which led me to believe they were a modeling agency. The email indicated that my application had been shortlisted, and they invited me for a trial photoshoot to assess my potential as a model. They never made it clear that they were not an agency until later, and I felt misled.After the photoshoot, I was presented with a contract requiring me to pay $3,000 for a portfolio, but I only realized later that they dont actually help models find work. Despite paying $754.16 so far, Ive asked to cancel the contract due to this misrepresentation, but they have refused. I recently received a notice that my account will be sent to collections if I dont pay the balance.I need help filing a formal complaint against them for misleading practices and preventing my account from going to collections.

Clients are given immediate access to our website upon booking, which clearly explains that we are a photography studio specializing in modeling portfolios, not a modeling or talent agency. This information is available from the very beginning, so anyone visiting our site would know right away what services we provide.
  All pricing and package details are discussed before the photoshoot, and clients have every opportunity to review and ask questions before signing any agreement. We also offer a 24-hour window to reconsider. Once a contract is signed and services are delivered, payment obligations must be honored like any professional agreement.

  I had a fantastic experience with MAPS Studios, ******. I have never modeled before and had no idea what to expect but they gave me clear instructions, made me feel comfortable, confident, and like everything was in my control. Very professional but still friendly, lighthearted, and fun! I had a phone call in advance to go over the day of the shoot, the $50 deposit, any possible packages I might be offered, and what types of outfits to bring (they also emailed all of this information to me with extra details and examples). After the shoot, they told me I would be a great model for places such as Ulta Beauty, and when I said I didnt have the finances to buy the $4,000 package they offered, they set up a payment plan with me. Yes I only got the pictures and modeling card, but I didnt really want the website or other things anyway. It took $2,000 off of my total, and the plan is very affordable for me and reasonable! They were willing to work with me and I didnt feel pressured, I felt encouraged and believed in when Ive been very insecure in the past. They went over everything with me and made sure I was happy and that I understood what my money was going towards. The makeup/hair artist, ********, was incredible. The photographer, ******, was helpful in guiding me through poses. And ****** was so sweet and informative when we went over my options. I also received my photos within 48 hours, well within the time the email explained I would get them (within 3 business days). Thank you MAPS Studios, ****** for opening my eyes to this new opportunity and not only believing in me, but for helping me believe in myself!

  The studio staff were great during my photoshoot. My portfolio came out so much better than I could imagine. My mentor has been by my side throughout the entire process.

  I can't lie that they did a good job doing my hair and makeup well. The photographer did a good job. However, I am upset that the lady who I spoke to and the guy on the phone both gave me two different payments for the portfolio. I'm very disappointed with how easy it is to pursue someone into making you pay for something you wished for and get your dreams crushed. apex studio isn't an agency like they say or will help me find work in the modeling industry therefore I would like to get a refund of my money soon and would like to cancel my contract. Thank you to all the people who I've read from the reviews and heard from them about my dream of wanting to become a model and having to pay a huge amount of money and not getting anything in return. It's a good thing I found out recently about the studio itself and I only paid a few payments the last 3 months. Once again I would like to get a refund AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because I am no longer interested. thank you.

Our studio is a professional photography company that provides modeling portfolios, not a talent or modeling agency. This is explained both on our website and during the booking process.
  All pricing and package options are discussed in detail before clients sign any agreement, and everyone has the opportunity to review and ask questions before making a decision. We also offer a 24-hour period to reconsider after signing. Once a contract is signed and services have been provided, we are unable to issue refunds, as work has already been completed.
  We understand the disappointment when expectations differ, but our goal is always to deliver high-quality portfolio images and a positive experience for every client

  I have read some of these review. Yes I also Been scam out of my money. Plus I was pressure into signing contract. To tell me that if I sign the contract I would get my photo,plus they send company to call for paid modeling for commercial, acting, photo shoot . I paid out 900 total. With fee initial. The people that did the make up and photo was awesome. Once get to last person of it.they show you photo's in the office. Yes it had been my dreams for years. I told manager let me think about it. No this is it today you have make a decision over over again. my package was ***** dollars. When I call them afterward two day later. I told that photo s emailed to me. No I didn't. I was going get my No I'm get threatened if i dont pay on my credit card. I had told them that three day I want cancel everything. I suppose have 5 day business window . That not true. I just want them refund me what I paid. This crazy.. some need help out to get our money back and cancel out . I even call bbb it was bad review on there.

There is no scenario in which anyone is forced or pressured into an agreement.

  Dont go here, try somewhere else. They make their business look legit, but they are scammers. They will force you to sign a contract, the lady who talked to us was talking so fast, she was even lighting a sage in front of **, telling all this nice thing about modeling. She then get up and walked toward ** and asked for the debit/credit card. They will force you to pay a large amount of money and if you cant pay it, they will transfer you to a debt collector. I cant. These people are crazy!!
