      Didnt get deposit back or pictures after they said I would then the guy lied and said he didnt say that SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

      I wanted to go try Map Studios really badly after a ******** advertisement that they were looking for girls/models of all sizes and ages. They became very persuasive on the texts, yet I did ask questions, but I did not get a response right away when I asked them if there was a cost. Nevertheless, they kept sending me texts. I read the email that everything is free, but then read the section that if I am interested, there is $399 price, but that I am not obligated to buy. Nowhere in the email does it mention a contract, and the vast majority on the BBB are stating there is a contract; the scheme they use to lure one in. That is false advertising, they are lying to their customers, and sketchy. I will be reporting this agency (Maps Studio NYC) to the **** BBB, *******************************, and the ************************ (***). Here is the email if you need to report them: ******************* A company must be transparent with its customers. I was looking forward to this, and deep inside, I knew it was too good to be true.

      REPOSTING BC I HAD THE SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE AS THIS COMMENTER!!! Maps B Studios is a complete scam and should be avoided at all costs. When I first arrived, they treated me kindly and took my photos. I foolishly ignored the negative reviews online, and I regret it. After the shoot, they pressured me into a room to discuss packages. I was rushed through signing a contract without the chance to properly review it. Immediately afterward, they demanded payment. I hesitated to pay in full because something felt off, so I agreed to monthly payments.What followed was nothing short of fraud. They marketed mentorship and guidance, but my so-called mentor ignored meetings, never returned calls, and clearly had no interest in my success. Despite paying $500, I received nothing of value in return. When I tried to cancel, I discovered they had outright lied and i was locked into paying the full $4,000 balance with no way out. Eventually, they even sent me to debt collectors, threatening my credit over services they never provided.Maps B Studios operates unethically and preys on peoples dreams. If youre considering working with them, dont. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the damage to your credit. They are not a legitimate businessjust a predatory scheme. Stay far away.

All clients have the opportunity to fully review their contract before signing, and we allow a 24-hour period to change their mind if they decide not to move forward. There is absolutely no way for anyone to be locked into payments unless they have clearly agreed to them.
      As with any signed agreement, clients are expected to abide by the terms they authorize. If a contract is signed, payment obligations are handled professionally and transparently including through third-party billing when necessary.
      All of our pricing and package options are clearly listed on our website prior to any photoshoot, giving clients the ability to review and choose what best fits their needs. We operate with the highest ethical standards and take every review seriously, as our goal is always to ensure honesty, clarity, and satisfaction for every client.

      The team was dynamically professional. I received outstanding treatment, as they were extremely courteous. Their ideas are fresh. My best friend contacted them for help, too, and she was thoroughly pleased. I'd use these people again and again if I need help with modeling.

      All those good reviews, dont believe them. Theyre paid by the company to provide good feedback. I went on April 21st this month at 3pm. They told me to come with my hair washed & no product in it & a bare face to which I did. My hair looked a complete ***************** was rushed. They say theyll go over whats in the contract with you, but dont explain that once you sign the contract you cant cancel it. While being recruited, I was told over the phone the photos would be ONLY ******* dollars. When I arrived I was informed that 25 photos ran anywhere between 4,000-6,000 dollars. If you dont purchase them theyll bully you into buying saying things like youre just not meant to model. Before I left she told me they would help me find jobs saying theyd share the photos taken that day to 3rd parties just to review others experiences online who say they have told them they do not provide job opportunities. Please dont be silly, I wish I wouldve listened to the reviews. I hope mine stops someone from making the same mistakes as many others.

      Dont come here, its a scam theyll say theyre scouting models and want to give u opportunities, I went there and they treated me nicely I took all my photos and they asked me a couple questions like if I wanted to model etc then the girl immediately went into the contract and asked for my debit, and I only got to know after my contract that they wont help you look for a job and theyre not a a modeling company or scouting models, I even asked them who do I call if I need help they said the same number of my recruiter I called him multiple times and he wont answer me, send me to speed dial and now theyre sayin the contract cannot be canceled so i was scammed, apparently if you dont wanna pay they send debt collectors so if youre planning on coming to this photography agency DONT

We are a professional photography studio not a modeling agency and we are always transparent about that from the beginning. Our goal is to provide high-quality images and guidance to help clients build their portfolios; however, we never guarantee job placement.
      All clients have the opportunity to review their contract thoroughly before signing, and we provide a 24-hour window to change their mind if they choose not to proceed. No one is ever forced or pressured into paying for anything they havent agreed to. As with any signed agreement, once a client authorizes services, those terms must be honored.
      We take pride in operating ethically and professionally, and we take all feedback seriously. Many of our clients have had great experiences and achieved wonderful results from their photoshoots.
