11-14-2024 I received a Partial Denial letter from Heritage Homeowners Ins. Thry are denying my roof to be repaired and inside ceilings, drywall, paint snd matching ceiling. Stating previous problems. NOT SO. I just had my home all redone in Nov 2023
I had water and mold last year thry paid nothing. Now here we go again. My roof had no pre problems. No leaking, no ceiling problems, nothing. I can prove it. Thry say they have pictures. I've asked for them. I'm sure they do not have pictures or it is fro. A different roof. All they want is your money. Hurricane Debbie came through it rained for days and days. If my roof was bad it would have soaked my ceilings. Also, Hurricane Helene came through. No problem. Hurricane Milton comes thru a horrible Hurricane. Everything should be covered. I'm a senior citizen. I should not have to fight for what is right. I want everything covered. Horrible I durance Company. They do not deserve a 1. Thry deserve -1000.

Since hurricane Ion having problems with water coming inside the house from the roof. Now with Milton is getting worse. We have been waiting for them to pay but according to the lawyer they just want to pay $15,000 when the estimate from our adjuster is almost 300,000. My husband is veteran that serve this country for 21 years and he is a bed bound patient and we have been taking the smell of mold for a long time because every time that rain the water coming through the walls. We already paid 12,300 to patch the roof but now is worse due to Milton. They still want us to pay more money to prevent more damages. The insurance sent 2 adjusters and both said it was related to Ion hurricane but we still waiting for them to fix our home.

I will just reiterate all the previous reviews, avoid united heritage insurance. No ethics, no morals, no values. They say they are an Idaho business, but no Idaho business would treat people the way they do. They will soon be out of business anyway, best to help them along by not wasting your time or money on them.

This is the worst insurance company I had to deal with. I was a customer with them for years and did not miss a single payment on my rental home. They almost double my premium for no reason. I decided to get a quote with a different company and got a better deal. I cancelled my policy with heritage and I was due a refund of $127.32 with my policy number **********. we are almost in June now and I have not received my refund . the first correspondence I received from them was on January 16,2024 stating that a check was issue and had not been cleared through their bank.I called them and changed my address since the one they have is my rental. Since giving them my new address, every time I call them they said that they have the correct address and my refund check is on the way and I wait like a month and nothing. I did verify that they have the correct address so why are they acting this way? Is anyone can help me on how to get that money because it looks like they are not willing to pay me back. I wish I can give them a 0 star but that option does not exist. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Stay away from :Heritage ********************************** Insurance Company *******************************************************

Heritage Insurance Company just set me a notice of nonrenewal with their reason Other- Capacity Mangement. If you every file a claim with them, you will indeed get a nonrenewal Notice. Sooner or later. I filed a claim with them after Hurricane ***** in 2020 for roof damage, which they did pay for roof replacement, but I have been with them for the last 15 years paying my premiums on time. THATS WHAT INSURANCE IS FOR, I GUESS I BECAME A HIGH RISK TO THIER STOCKHOLDERS. .

Heritage Property and Casualty Insurance Company would not renew my homeowner's insurance with the explanation that: The reason(s) for this action are: Other - Capacity Exposure Management. What does that mean? Our Governor and other politicians are doing nothing in the **************** to help with insurance companies cancelling this and flood insurance. They know how to threaten you with cancelling at the drop of a hat when is something going to be done about this?

Heritage is the worst insurance company I've ever had the misfortune to come in contact with. My policy was cancelled because they said my premium was late. The premium was paid, via on line banking, and arrived TWO days after the grace period .When I called I was told a notice that payment was not received was mailed to me which I never received. I paid my premiums timely every month for as many years as I had this company. Ironically this happened after I filed a claim because my roof had sustained storm damage. I had three roofing companies look at my roof and all said the same thing, shingles were creased and lifting and would eventually break. The examiner(s) and engineer Heritage sent were jokes. The first examiner never even walked the entire roof and the engineer, being paid by Heritage, said the roof was OK...NO surprise there. Heritage wants your money but will not do what is right to replace a damaged roof. Trying to get the person handling my claim is impossible. The roofer has tried, as have I, on a few occasions without success. My advice to anyone looking for an insurance company look at other companies, even if they are a few bucks more. Better to pay a few dollars more and get protection and service when you need it than deal with the incompetents at Heritage. After reading many of the reviews posted I can't believe this company is still in business. I gave one star only because there is nothing lower.

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever worked with. They will deny your claim anyway possible to hold on to money that should be repairing your home. We went through Hurricane Ian and sustained 140mph winds with gust up to 180mph for eight hours and sustained roof lift, this is where the plywood sheeting is lifted up from the roof trusses. An engineer was hired and confirmed the roof lift was caused by the hurricane. Heritage has the audacity and the cold-heartiness to say the roof lift was caused when roofers replaced the shingles three years earlier, meanwhile interior work cannot be completed until roof is repaired so you live in a shell of a house going on two years but this is how they will treat you anything to prolong your claim and pain to improve their bottom line

Heritage is crooked. Their own adjuster stated I needed a new roof. Then I hired a roofer, and signed over my benefits. Heritage sent out a 2nd adjustor who wrote a report stating that "the construction of the roof is the problem". My home is over 22 years old. No leaks until 2022. Then Heritage tripled my insurance policy. I was forced to get other insurance. My roof is still not repaired.

This insurance company tried to drop me twice in ******* without any notification. Just got a letter in the mail stating if be non renewed in thirty days. I had to jump through hoops to not be canceled. They also raised my rate once because I had a dog which was a 12 year old ****** terrier. People have dogs, seriously. Now I've canceled the policy because I sold my home. I've been waiting for my refund check for 21 days. I've called for times and keep being told, it takes awhile. If I was late with a payment I would be permissive, but it's on to keep my money for a month. Do not choose them if you can avoid it.
