I contacted this company several times to cancel my account. I called, left voicemail messages & sent an email. They still went into my account & took out $44.99. I was hospitalized for most of 2024. During this time, I did not notice that the company ID Guard and *********** began taking ***** and ***** out of my account monthly for a subscription that I did not sign up for. I contacted the company in August about the problem. I asked them to cancel the product numerous times, but the agent kept giving me the run around. I am also interested in a refund of all fraudulent theft taken out of my account. The company used a fake check with my name on it and incorrect home address and were drafting me monthly from 2024 to August 2025 when I contacted my bank to do a stop payment. This company has stolen so much money from me, and they cannot be legitimate because they would not provide me with a refund of a service that I did not authorize nor want. I'm ***************************** they probably just make a living preying on the hard-earned money of old people. I personally do not have money to just give away since I live on very little earnings. I am thankful my daughter got involved and discovered I was being robbed. She discovered they had been removing money from my account since July of *********************************************************** that they were "protecting" was 1230 instead of 1238 which to her said fraud. When I mentioned my address was incorrect, the agent told me "they did not have to have my correct address to protect my identity." I am requesting a refund of all deductions from my bank account and one stop payment fee I had to initiate after deductions that appeared in my August statement.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because the business indicates that money began being withdrawn from my account in August of 2024. At the outset of this complaint, I uploaded 2 bank documents. One bank document showed where the drafts from my account began on July 1, 2024 as shown in Document one titled "ID Guard amounts taken." The second bank document entitled ************ amounts taken" shows that amounts began to be taken from my account August 7, 2024. Finally, I reject this resolution because the amount to be refunded to me has not been specified by the business.

Numerous calls and emails have all been met with the same response. The check will be mailed. Or the check is being mailed. Or the check will be with you in 5-7 business days.
They change their story each call. One day it was said they mailed it already. Next day they said it was being mailed soon.
Please don't let them get away with this.

ID Guard, LLC is clearly has a company model committed to bank ********** the other responders, this company will create a bogus check for 3.49 and cash it. Around a month later, they will create another check for ~$ *****, and this will keep going until you close out your checking account and create a new one. This is a major inconvenience as I had to gather all the signers on the checking account and spend the afternoon at the bank moving all my activity to a new checking account. I never received a postcard and I never provided them with my bank account. Somehow they were able to get my banking account information. If this happens to you, close out your account ASAP or you will continue to be defrauded.Business Response
