I purchased (2) copies of Predator vs Wolverine 1 (CGC 9.8) 1:100 **** ****** virgin variant comic books from Beachbum comics on August 25, 2023. As of today, August 8, 2024 I have yet to receive these books I emailed them 3 times (once in April, then June, then July) and have not heard back from them. I would still like the books, but if not I would like a full refund.Business Response

I was given 2 choices, to reject the response or to accept the response, in which the case would be closed, so this isn't so much a rejection or acceptance as it is to inform the BBB that although the seller states that the order will be out shortly, it's still been 9 days since I was informed of Beachbum's response in the BBB email I received and there's still been no movement on the items purchased in the last week and a half and it is now August 30, 2024. The *** I was given was just an image of the ordered book, which does nothing to alleviate my problem, as I already know what the book looks like and don't necessarily need to see an image of it. As of this time I am not completely satisfied with the response because I have not received the books or been shown any movement on the shipment of the books, so I prefer the case not be closes as it is not resolved as of yet.

This business sells pre-orders of officially graded comic books. The grading of the comics is done by a third party and typically takes 1-3 months. I have multiple orders with this company totaling $500. The items i purchased were sold to me with an expected delivery of December 2023. I have repeatedly asked for a refund of all my orders and have not received any responses. I have spoken to the grading party and they have assured me that the books i ordered do not exist and that this company has scammed me.Business Response

BeachBum Comics is now claiming to have sent me my two MOST RECENT orders. This, is in fact, not the case, all they have done is generate a label and tracking number for a hypothetical package. No items have actually shipped and i suspect this is another attempt to avoid giving me my money back and simply delaying the process more.their response is also unacceptable because there are three older orders that are still outstanding and should have shipped before the two orders that BeachBum comics is claiming to have shipped. Where are those orders? I deserve a refund for those orders!
i still want all of my money back! This company has not responded to any of my emails demanding a refund for all my orders.

The company has actually shipped my two most recent orders but still owes me three older orders worth a total of $260. I simply want my money back. I am rejecting this response because:This is my THIRD attempt to get my money back from this company. After my first complaint with the BBB they filled two of my orders and I have had zero communication with the company since then. I still have outstanding orders with them from 2023! I have emailed the company repeatedly requesting a refund for these orders and have never received a reply or my money back. These orders were placed as pre-orders and a waiting period was understood but well over a FULL YEAR with zero explanation or replies to my emails is unacceptable. I have demanded a refund from this company for these orders repeatedly and I am asking for help from the BBB in obtaining my refund.

Placed an order for a graded comic book on January 18, 2024. To this date, I have not received my order and no response from this business as to the status of my order. Was told on June 13, there was a batch coming in and mine would be sent out. It is now July 27, 2024 and I have not received anything. Subsequent emails have gone ignored. On 12 -30-21 and 4-3-21. I ordered two comics , the first one to be signed by a comic artist and then sent off to a CGC to be graded...and the second one just to be graded. This process can take one to two years at the most I did talk to the owner in Feb 2024 about getting a refund with my two orders , and I told him I would like a credit or a refund. And he said ok . So far nothing in the mail or refund on my credit card. And it's now July 2024.Business Response

Beach *** Comics called me directly to apologize for not responding to my requests for order status updates I sent over the last few months and let me know exactly where everything is currently at. Ordered 2 copies of CGC 9.8 Avengers 1 **** ********************************* from BeachBum comics on 4/15/23. When copies of this book started showing up online i emailed BeachBum Comics on 1/2/24 for a ***** update. ********* replied that they may be in the next batch of releases. I purchased what was a pre-ordered 9.8 comic book. The book was being sent to be slabbed and graded. I have communicated with the businesses through email over the past year and even spoke to the owner in February 2024, as he assured me, "We are doing our best to get our books out." I have not heard anything and recently reached out on June 15, 2024, at 8:10 PM via email. I have not heard anything else, but I continue to receive emails from the business encouraging "pre-orders" and upcoming comics. I have not been able to successfully dispute and receive a refund because of the platform in which I went through "Shopify" as they allow businesses to handle everything, which clearly has not been resolved.Business Response
