I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. I came in to ask for a simple tooth reshaping on a chipped front tooth and they refused to do it all they wouldve had to do was sand it down just a tiny bit and they pushed all these more unnecessary and expensive procedures that I did not even need or ask for and then asked me to sign a bunch of papers and kept moving me from room to room. I spent all day there for nothing but just to get scammed. Me being hopeless and distraught and nobody would answer my questions about my one tooth that I came in for and they kept telling me you need this this and that meanwhile I just wanted one simple thing done and I kept saying it but they were ignoring me and they just kept dancing around it. I got pushed and charged for a HALF teeth cleaning in order to fix my tooth when I am entitled to two free teeth cleanings per year for ALL of my teeth. I tried to call and they kept trying to shut me down. Got charged for a full set (30 teeth) even when my insurance covered it and whats crazy is that I didnt even get a full proper teeth cleaning. They said something about my gums but I came in for my chipped tooth not my gums that they poked and made bleed. I spent more time sitting and waiting to be seen than getting a good teeth cleaning. I was sitting there for I kid you not 1 minute. Then they pushed this gel on me and charged me and I didnt even use or need it either. Do not go here. Tried to get a refund with this whole terrible experience but of course they refused and the manager was not friendly and very snippy. I didnt even get my tooth fixed and still had to pay a bunch of money for a HALF crappy teeth cleaning They try to upsell you on things when I came in for one simple shaving down on my tooth. I wasted money for nothing and it shouldnt have been charged regardless because of my insurance. The bills did not make any sense.

Wish there was an option of zero stars. The office I am dealing with in ******, misrepresented the dentists network status at the time of treatment in Nov 2024 and is now trying to hold me responsible for their billing errors. I have been dealing with the billing issues since December 2024 and have gotten nowhere. Aspen is trying to bill me for services that are 3x the amount initially quoted. Total bait and switch. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against this company and they need to be held accountable.

They charged me for $300 retainers that I did not buy. They ordered them and refused to continue my Invisalign while my teeth were still crooked. Therefore , I refused the retainers because I wasn’t going to spend $300 just to have to go buy more retainers when I fix the problem. But they still charged me for the product and reported it to collections . The whole place is bait and switch . As soon as they got my money, they were no longer interested in actually fixing my teeth in the way that they had promised and shown projected pictures of. And I don’t think it’s legal to charge for products that the customer doesn’t ask for or have .

********** office - Beware! They bait you with one price and months later, bill you for more money. They practice a bait-and-switch game, and the company doesn't respond to your complaints. People write negative reviews to warn customers of this company's practices. Months after getting service, they billed me for an insurance "discount", not a benefit, that the insurance company claimed, they don't offer any such discount, They also billed me for a " new patient" free service that they claimed to offer at the time of service. Terrible company!

I had a permanent retainer wire that was broken and needed it removed when I called they said they would do it. I had numerous x-rays first and was told I had an abscessed tooth and I needed it pulled or else a root canal . I was then sent to an office manager and was told I needed a deep cleaning which would cost 5000 but they had a payment plan and I could get it done for 2500, I told them I just needed the wire removed but she said they had a payment plan now I'm thinking my teeth are really rotten (which they are not) but I'm 71 years old and really didnt understand what this treatment was all about.. next thing I know I have a care credit account for almost 2000 . I have two dental insurances but they only billed one. I asked them to bill my other insurance and they took all the info and said they would but as of today they have not billed them my insurance would pay for all of this . so right now I told care credit that it was fraudulently opened and they are investigating it and put my account on hold DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL!!!

Ruskin Location-I went in for an emergency root canal. They sent me to a different location because they don;t do this work at this facility I went and had the root canal completed and returned for my crown to be placed upon doing so I scheduled my follow up appointment and went over everything with the representative I asked if the cleaning was mandatory her response was NO we want to get you in for the crown and that is all- appointment was scheduled upon arriving to the follow up the receptionist stated I did not have an appointment after showing her the confirmation text she quickly caught an attitude and began to be more rude after waiting to be seen she informed me they would not be doing any of the work remaining unless I paid $6K for a cleaning I asked the representative if this was mandatory and she advised it was not that all that was needed was for the crown to be fitted to be ordered because they have to send this out to be done. I completed the root canal and now they are refusing to do the crown placement I have paid out of pocket and my insurance was also charged and the work has not been completed- When i call the office they never answer and when they do they are just rude- Horrible!!!

I went in for an emergency root canal. That my dentist *** does not perform them stated I needed. The ******* *** was more of a sleazy used car salesman, than a doctor tried to convince me I needed ****** worth of implants. Would not due the root canal my dentist said I needed. He only wanted to sell me implants.

Tried the motto Aligners and had an extremely bad experience. The Aligners cut my tongue and into my jaws causing constant pain, bleeding, rawness, teeth grinding, and TMJs clicking especially while trying to sleep. Also, some of the Aligners did not fit and was told that they’d need to be remade therefore, I had to go through the excruciating Aligners fitting again in which I had already even though I mentioned that I no longer wanted to wear the Aligners due to the issues mentioned previously to the tech and dentist and they still ignored me and my concerns. Aspen Dental contacted me after receiving the new set of Aligners, an appt. was made and I once again stated to the tech and dentist that I was going to discontinue the Aligners and the dentist responded “You should have told me before they were ordered so just try them again”. Because the pain was unbearable and the salt water rinses only helped minimally I knew I couldn’t continue and told him again that I wasn’t going to wear the Aligners. I was then told that In order to discontinue the treatment I’d need to sign a document via a tablet which I was given and signed. After the Aligner attachments on my teeth were removed I was given a mirror to see the results and noticed that 2 of my bottom teeth were loose and crooked and mentioned this to the tech. She stated that this is normal and if I continued the treatment they would have it straightened out. My copay was $1,000 dollars for the Motto Aligner Treatment I wore for a short timeframe and will now need a permanent or removable retainer on my bottom front teeth in which I’ll have another copayment of $500-$1,000. Prior to using the Motto Aligners I only had an issue with 1 bottom front tooth that I wanted straightened now there’s 2.
