Aspen dental , ******* ** I called aspen dental for a price for replacement dentures and was told my first appointment was free along with the x-rays and the price was around $900 for the dentures (total cost). at the appointment they told me the cost was $1900 and i left. My wife called aspen when i got home to complain (she made the appointment and asked the cost) and was told that aspen dentals appointment service always gives the wrong price when they make the appointment and the person she talked said she wished that they would stop doing that. they were also told i was a cash deal and that i would not be using my insurance to which they tried to bill my insurance anyway.

4/9 24 visit to ASPEN dental for ROUTINE cleaning Girl at front desk requested payment (UP FRONT) and I handed over my bank card $235.20 was deducted from my acct. I questioned the charge being so high for a routine teeth cleaning She indicated that was normal I was still concerned about cost when I was called in to the back for my visit. It was then I realized they were about to do a DEEP CLEAN TREATMENT that I did not want I am 86+ years old and do not feel it necessary to try to restore teeth that are that old and already being removed 1 by 1 They said they would refund my $ and I would then make an appt for a ROUTINE CLEANING To date they have NOT returned my $

Went to an appointment to check the cost of dental implants at Aspen Dental on University parkway Winston Salem NC. When I made the appointment I was told that my first visit was at no cost to me. I had my appointment Jan 2023 during the exam they took many x-rays and photos of my mouth and teeth. I asked again how much is this going to cost? I was told again no cost to you. I received a bill dated 2/29/2024 that I owed $40.00. I have tried to contact AspenDental many time and waited on hold for upto 50 minutes. AspenDental is horrible. I do not recommend them.

Original date of service was 9/9/22. I paid ******* on top of what my insurance paid. It was for the COMPLETE service of my implant dentures. It took them until this year to complete the service due to their lack of ability to see me. They were closed on one day I had an appointment and was not notified. I was informed by a note on the door when I got there. I had to call several times to get an appointment due to the unavailability of times for me. They finally got me in 7/21/23. They completed the implant of the denture that was paid for in 2022. Now they are sending me another bill for the completion of the implants, which again, I had paid the complete amount in 2022. The office that I received treatment will not answer my calls, nor call me back. I have talked to billing department on 2/26/24. They were to look into it and call me back the same day and I have yet to hear from them. I have attempted to contact them repeatedly since then and have had no success. I believe they are billing me for services that I have already paid for back in 2022. One example is that they are charging me $60.00 for sedation, when I got prescription for valium and I picked it up and PAID for it myself. I got 4 pills, I was only given two of them and the other two have never been given back to me.

I have a $39 00 debit from my bank account for an ********************** plan that I never authorized. I had a tooth pulled in the *********** office over a year ago. I declined to have any more work done. I paid the entire bill the same day. I do not owe them for dental work and I have not requested a payment plan. They just randomly stole $39 00 from me.

I went to Aspen dental on 6-23-23 for routine work on my dentures. I spent $6500 cash on my dentures. I tried to make a appointment with Aspen prior to this date they said I had a prior balance. I had the same problem before 6-23-23 Aspen den said I cannot see a dentist until my balance was cleared. In the meantime Aspen tried to make my insurance Company to pay my bill which they have refused to pay because it was already paid. Now my mouth is hurting when I put my dentures in to which I'm not aloud to see dentist because they say I have a balance. After contacting Aspen corporate office they said I have a right to see the dentist if it were an emergency. But Aspen in ******* *********** will not allow me to make a appointment. It sounds like there trying to double bill me for work that was never done. I contacted my insurance Company to make sure they do not pay any monies to Aspen. Please some one help me fight this corrupt corporation called Aspen.

On September 5, 2023, I was pressured by the dentist and the office manager into a procedure that I wasn't even there to get. The dentist told me that it is a simple process, etc. It ended up being a 2 hour procedure and as I was ******* to get home because I was in extreme pain, shoved a paper for me to sign which I didn't read. I just signed the paper. Now I am told I owe almost 11K and I just got a statement from my insurance company and I see that the dentist is charging me almost 10K for 2024. Bottom line is that they are committing fraud, discrimination and harassment. They need to be stopped.

About three years ago I paid $1,529 for a complete Invisaligner treatment. The results were garanteened and all service included in that price. The process came to a stop when the original dentist left and the account was transferred to a new dentist. This took months. Then the new dentist left and another took over requiring the same transfer process to start again. Months later, I just need my final set of retainers. The facility demands $600 more from me although these are included in the Invisaligner treatment already paid. The way this bill was requested from me was that a sticky note with $647 was set on the front counter in front of **** want the last sets of retainers and to never deal with Aspen Dental again.

In May 2022, I started the process of getting clear teeth aligners through Aspen Dental. I was quoted a price to pay out of pocket of around $2,600 and a price using insurance of around $2,000. I expressed that I didn't believe I was covered for orthodontia, due to my age. I was assured that they would verify that I was covered. The claim was denied due to my age. Aspen's verification of benefits record shows that there is no age restriction on my orthodontia benefits. Delta Dental (my insurance provider) has no record or recording of a verification call for this service. Because it was billed through insurance and denied, Aspen wants to charge me an additional $2,200 for a total of about $4,200. I sent them proof of the promotion that they were running at the time of my purchase, that I would have gotten if I'd been allowed to pay out of pocket to begin with, but they refused to honor the promotion. Eventually they offered to cut the amount owed in half to $1,100. They are holding my retainers hostage as they demand payment from me. It is my understanding that they cannot legally bill me more than the quote, because department of insurance rules were not followed in providing the quote. My last aligner has finally disintegrated and the longer I wait for the retainer, the more my teeth will drift and the less likely it will fit. The entire process has been unpleasant as I required 59 weeks of aligners when the standard time is ***** weeks. I was even told by an Aspen Dental dentist, that she never would have recommended clear aligners for me, if she had been the one to evaluate me. She stated I should have used traditional orthodontia, which Aspen does not provide. It really seems like they are far more concerned with money than patient care, and they don't seem to mind violating *********************************** to get said money.
