In April 2018, I initiated contact with Debt Consolidation Services (DNS) in Boynton, Florida. After sharing my personal information and receiving the contract, I notified DNS that I had decided to cancel the contract. Without my knowledge, the agent opened a Bank of America account in my name, placed a loan of $3,500.00, and transferred it to another account. When I received a credit card in the mail, I immediately called the agent and reminded him that I had requested cancellation. He told me to wait about contacting the bank until I heard from him. When I did contact the bank and reported the issue, I was told that they determined it wasn't fraudulent, and that I would be responsible for repayment. The bank agent suggested I close that account and transfer the balance to a new account that the DNS agent could not access. Under the circumstances, I asked for interest-free or a reduced rate status, but was denied. The DNS agent continued to call me to report nonexistent "progress," and I reminded him that my contract had been cancelled. When I called DNS to report what happened, they told me that my account had been deleted, and I was no longer in their system. The person to whom I talked seemed to have no knowledge of the $3,500.00. To protect my credit rating, I have paid over $4,000.00 including interest. I resubmitted my complaint to Bank of America, and I was again declined. I felt that BOA could have traced the transfer at the onset and identified the person responsible to return the $3,500,00. I questioned also about the fee charge occurring before any action had begun.

This individual is 100% mistaken with the information they are providing here and we respectfully request it be removed.  This individual initially enrolled with our company April 19th, 2018.  9 days later on April 27th she decided not to enroll and the account was cancelled before we started any services.  No funds were exchanged.  She called us on May 28, 2018 stating that there was a charge on one of her cards and we explained that it was not our company and that we do not utilize client credit cards, set up loans, or do anything that she is suggesting in her complaint.  She thanked us and apologized for the confusion.   

It has now been 5 years since this happened and we did not hear a word from her all of this time until this review appeared. We state again for the record that her account was cancelled 9 days after it was enrolled.  Our company has never touched any of her funds.  Any issue she has with **** of America or someone opening a loan or anything of that sort is not our company despite any belief she has that we are somehow involved.  Whoever she spoke with over the past couple of years about this issue was not our company.   If **** of America wishes to investigate this matter further we would be more than happy to speak with them as well. Again, we request this comment be removed as the individual is completely mistaken in assuming this has anything to do with our company.

DNS was a very serious institution that guided me through the process of becoming debt free and kept me sane from lawyers and infinite phone calls. *********************** was prompt and clear. Yes .. its lengthy but if you stick to your agreement you will end in a better place with a piece of mind. Your credit get very ruin but you will be in beer shape to rebuilt again. Thank you DNS.!
