On 2/12/2024 I googled IRS to file my 2023 taxes, 1800taxhelpline popped up making me believe it was the irs , the gentlemen ************************* (PIN ****** stated that I could file my taxes with irs thru him for free, he completed it and asked for my bank account number an routing number and stated my refund would be ****** because I owe irs , he issued me website to taxtrack my refund and sent me my Form 1040, well my tax was received and accepted by irs , then tax track stated my refund was sent on 03/06/2024 , I never got it , I been playing phone tag with me ***** and irs , with no assistance , as of today I spoke to a lead manager worker above ************* finally rudely stated to me that you want to know what happened to your refund ? You werent getting anything in the first place , you owed irs and we charged you garnishment fee 551 dollars, your only getting a refund of 5 dollars back ! I hung up on her , she never spoke to me like that I yelled at me , I cried , little did she know IRS had sent me a letter on March 18th stating i was due ******* and ****** was applied to what I owe for 2021 and 2022 taxes , I was due a ****** and that my refund was sent to account number ************* put on my form, which is not known to me , I dont know where my refund was sent, I will file a complaint with IRS , and seek legal assistance in this matter if possible .
