    No matter number I call I am on hold for over an hour. Their email addresses are "no-reply" addresses except the customer service one and it does not answer. Tip: if you want someone to answer, choose "make a payment with a person".

    This company gave false advertising when in media and when speaking to a representive to sign up. We were told an item under a claim would be fix or replaced depending on the issue. The price we paid monthly would cover the cost. We were not told (and it was omitted) they would only give you the bare minium if they had to pay out an item. When we called they gave us the run around and in the end, for our water heater was unrepairable- the pay out was ****** dollars- that does not even cover the cost of installation. Now after paying into this company we have lost money and will have to pay for a water heater on top of that!!!!

    I have a policy with his company and I am being treated extremely poor. I filed a claim to find out that My replacement allowance doesn't come close to what I need to replace my appliance. They NEVER sent me a policy. The file was claimed 6 weeks ago and I have not received a check. This is without a doubt, the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. I WANT MY MONEY! PERIOD!

    We are going to end up suing them. My father got a contract with them. His ac unit went out. Waited 3 weeks with no ac during the summer they keep saying the sent someone out. Ask for the company name to call them directly. Company said they never heard from that company. Called them they told them to go ahead and get work done from a company that would come out asap and that they would refund the money paid. My father got work done now ARW is giving them the run around. Shame on u guys . But we will take this to court and ask for more then what it would have cost if u just would have sent someone out to fix it. This company needs to be stopped. Too many of us are going through this.

    After looking at the contract versus what I was told on the phone when getting service, I decided I did not want to go with this company. I was also told that I would get the initial set up charge back if I decided to cancel service before 30 days. Seemingly, this company does not want to do refunds or cancel service when a customer is clearly dissatisfied! I have called 3 times to cancel service and get the first month fee back. The first time, I spoke with one of the reps that does the cancellations and she strongly tried to talk me out of cancelling and made me feel as if I did not have that option. The next 2 times that I called back, the reps hung up and did not attempt to call me back to say it was an accidental cut off (they have my phone number and could have called me back!) nor was I able to get anyone to answer on my 4th call. From reading some of the reviews, it looks like this company does not stand behind their contract terms nor the 30 day cancellation offer. If a company cannot accept a customer's request (good or bad), then they need to close. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

    This place is horrible and scamming people out of money. They make it almost impossible to get any services done by having no email to contact them, no online account portal that actually works, and extremely long wait times over the phone of one hour to one hour and thirty minutes every time, to get people to have a warranty they have paid for and not give them any services on it, I called 3 times in one week to get one appliance serviced, was put on hold for over an hour each time and ended up being told they would call back and received no call back. When trying to set up an online account to contact them that way, it does not work. I called and asked how can I get service on my appliances and they said only by phone, then they put me on hold again with another extremely long wait time. They also renew warranties automatically by charging your credit card with no notification.

    ****no! Stay away from them! I had them for almost a year until I needed to make a claim in April 2022 and the guy on the other end had said I no longer had an account with them then hung up on me. Well, since then they have have been taking out the money from my account since then, almost 1000 dollars. I've emailed multiple times and no response, been kicked of their site and called plenty with me being on hold for almost 2 hrs then hung up on. Stay away! Will not help but will take your money!

    Our water heater went out. I spent so much time on hold with this company trying to start and then follow up on a claim, only to have them say they couldn't get anyone to do the work for what they pay under the warranty. Their solution was to send me the $300 TO FIND SOMEONE MYSELF. The $300 was meant to cover travel, parts, and service so I'm not surprised no company was willing to take the job. They make it very difficult to NOT RENEW the plan. I have to cancel, even though I have not opted to renew. But again, I've been left on hold for will over 45 minutes total so far without resolution. The first call I had to hang up to go into my office. This one at 8am on a Saturday, they called me, when I finally got through to the department for cancelations it sounded like they were having a party or something, there was so much background noise. As soon as I said I needed to cancel, the phone call disconnected. Horrible customer service, not worth the money you pay for the plan.

    RUN I am going on week 4 and still have no heat. I have been told by several people they would call me to let me know whats going on nope not a one. The one call I did get stated I had to pay out of pocket 260.50. and this was a company called AIG? ARW uses a middle man a company called ****** who uses a middle man called AIG. What the?and I still have no answers as to when I will have my heater fixed. I have been lied to, the phone hung up in my face,and switched from company to company for over a month. In the beginning I had to pay $55 up front plus my contract fee plus this $260.50 to a company I was never told about through another company ARW never called and told me about. Like I said RUN dont do business with American Residential Warranty
