My vehicle has been in the shop since 11/3/23 and has yet to be repaired. I had purchased the premium protection package when i purchased the vehicle spend about $2,400. The vehicle has a bad engine and I am currently waiting on a working replacement engine to resolve the situation. IWS claims the replacement engines have all gone through quality inspections but have yet to produce a non damaged engine for replacement. They continue to blame the engine supplier for the short comings but when in a business partnership you both share and own the faults. It is very frustrating when there is poor communication between IWS and their customers which is what I have experienced. I have waited for a call from *************************** for over 2 weeks at one point during this ordeal after being told by the representative ********** was letting him know of my request to talk with ****. They have stated in the past that if I pay another $2k out of my pocket I could get a reman engine as a replacement. But the entire purpose of purchasing warranty is to spend that amount once and not have to spend that amount again and be covered on reasonable repairs needed within the contract. I have made 3 vehicle payments while not having my vehicle in my possession. I will be letting friends and family know to not purchase IWS warrantys in the future as they are very hard to work with and are not considerate of ones time. The only compensation they have given is extending the rental vehicle agreement by 10 days to a total of about 20 days out of the 3 months of not having my vehicle in a working order.
