On September 2,2024, I purchased two tickets to a concert scheduled at the Lansdowne Theater, approximately 3 miles from my home. The concert was scheduled for October 18, 2024 at 8:00pm.
I found out about two weeks before the concert that the Lansdowne theater’s opening was delayed so I called for a refund. The theater told me I had to go through Go Tickets and advised me that they would probably deny my refund and go through my bank

location, but did not cancel the event. Subsequently, as an industry standard,
GoTickets followed suit, updating the event location to match the new venue.
All buyers were made aware of the change promptly.We understand how disappointing a venue change can be for an
event. We left several voicemails when trying to reach our customer but have

In attempting to buy tickets for Casting Crowns concert for 10/12/2024 from Ticketmaster, I somehow was redirected to GoTickets and charged significantly more for the tickets than what they were listed for with Ticketmaster. I was unaware of the price increase or that I wasn't dealing with Ticketmaster until my credit card account was charged. Transaction was on August 23, 2024 in the amount of $398.73. I filed a dispute with Discover, the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Discover immediately reversed the charges, and said they would do an investigation and let me know the outcome. I received an emailed letter from Discover on 9/26/2024 stating that the dispute had been found in my favor. I received no other communication from Discover or TicketsGo. While reviewing my credit card statement on 11/10/2024 I found a reversal of temporary credit in the amount of $398.73 to GoTickets. So I was charged for a concert I never attended and was not notified by either Discover or GoTickets that I was being charged for the tickets. I contacted GoTickets 11/11/2024. They stated they have a no refund policy. I explained that I had filed a dispute because I felt the tickets were sold to me in a fraudulent manner because I was not attempting to buy tickets from GoTickets. They admitted that I had been redirected to their site but were not willing to give me a credit in the amount of $398.73. After a lengthy discussion in which I told the representative that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau she offered me a $50 credit. I was willing to settle for a credit of $398.73 for another event, not even a full refund on my credit card. She stated the reason they would not credit me was because I filed a dispute with Discover. When I tried to contact the phone number on my Discover bill 773–4 18–1293, I received a message stating you have reached a Verizon number that is no longer in service. Discover will not re-reverse the charge without GoTickets consent.Business Response

Our customer placed their order on 8/23/2024 for 2 tickets for Casting Crowns on 10/12/2024. Their order was immediately confirmed and fulfilled accurately shortly after. Our customer later filed a dispute with their financial institution, which resulted in favor of GoTickets. It should be noted that GoTickets does not re-direct customers to our site as our customer claimed, but rather, our site is completely user-driven.
Registered Users who want to buy tickets ("Buyers") may search for events and view ticket listings. To order tickets, a Buyer first browse GoTickets’ listings for tickets. When the Buyer finds desirable tickets, the Buyer places an order to purchase the ticket(s). When an order is placed, Sellers receive notification of an order and confirm delivery. All orders are final and, once placed, cannot be cancelled or retracted. The purchase of tickets is at the full discretion of the Buyer, and all sales are final. Due to the unique nature of tickets, they can't be replaced, hence there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.
During the checkout process, our customer agreed to the terms of service, which state the following:

As a result, the ticket prices listed may be substantially higher (or in some cases lower) than the original face value printed on the ticket. Prior to receiving this claim, this matter was thoroughly discussed with our customer. In the interest of customer service, our support team offered our customer a partial credit, however this was declined. As such, we consider this matter resolved. I searched "BYU at University of Utah men's basketball tickets" on Google and gotickets.com was the top result. I paid $185.39 on 11/6/2024 for 2 basketball tickets. I got several emails from gotickets.com, one asking for me to create a profile with them. I then received an email that told me to click on the link to download the tickets. I clicked on the link, and the tickets appeared similar to comparable tickets from other sites. But the link to "Add to Google Wallet" did not work. The tickets are fake.Business Response

Our customer placed their order on 11/6/2024 for 2 tickets for BYU Cougars at Utah Utes Mens Basketball at Jon M. Huntsman Center - Salt Lake City, UT on 1/18/2025 at 7:00 PM. Their order was confirmed immediately and fulfilled on 11/11/2024, in accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee. Our customer indicated they believe their tickets are fake, however we would like to ensure them they are valid and authentic tickets, sent and accessed via securetickets, with rotating barcodes that were provided to them and only them. While the page may display a button that appears to include the ability to add a ticket to their mobile wallet, the utility of that button is not fully functional, as the secure.tickets platform does not always allow this option. This does not invalidate or prohibit our customer from scanning or using their unique tickets. By accessing the link, as our customer did, they can scan the rotating barcode when they arrive at their event.

I purchased a ticket on Oct 17 for a performance on Nov. 15 at the Axelrod Theater in Deal, NJ. I selected the only box offered on the venue’s site to purchase tickets. I assumed that I was buying them through the theaters box office using GOTICKETS.com.
However, without any disclaimer, my ticket was sold” to another third party, LYSTED.com, which auctioned off my ticket to the highest bidder.
When I received the ticket, in my email, it had the “buyers” name on it and also included a 50% markup! I
I called the box office and they said that this also happened to another patron.
I called GOTICKETS who told me to contact LYSTED.com. This company auctions off your ticket for a fee.
I believe that this is a scam. I am trying to get a full refund or will dispute the charge as soon as the pending status becomes a payment. This company “steals” your original transaction and then sells it without any indication or information.Business Response

When I called Go Tickets directly, they most definitely used the term that it was “auctioned off to the highest bidder” by another company whose name I forget . Go Tickets advised me to join the other company, for a fee, and then put my ticket on the other 3rd party and “auction it off” to try and get a higher price.
Their above very long description, in very small print, DID NOT appear anywhere prior to the ticket purchase. Nor did it appear after the sale. Nowhere did it state anywhere that the ticket was not being directly purchased from the event’s box office.
This predatory company somehow placed a link on the theater’s web page. It’s a sham and it’s called phishing. When I called the theater’s box office, they informed me that someone else had also been tricked into buying from this company believing that they were buying the tickets directly from the theater.
Not only is the company lying about the disclaimer being presented prior to the purchase but the next day their link was gone and the real theater’s box office was on the web site. Go Tickets obviously “phished” on their web page hoping to trick ticket buyers into thinking that they were buying tickets from the theater.

Our customer placed their order on 10/18/2024 for 1 ticket for Fiddler on the Roof at Axelrod Performing Arts Center - Deal, NJ on 11/15/2024 at 7:00 PM, and it was confirmed and fulfilled accurately the same morning, in accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee. The seating location they selected and purchased was provided directly to them and only them, and was not auctioned off elsewhere, as that is not a service we provide, nor take part in.
The purchase of tickets is at the full discretion of the Buyer, and all sales are final, due to the unique nature of tickets and of our business as a secondary marketplace. During the checkout process, our customer agreed to the terms of service to place their order. These terms are provided prior to the final step of checkout, and are required to be agreed to before purchase.

I purchased tickets to see Creed in Noblesville IN on March 11 and my bank was charged that day. The show was August 10. I never received the link to the actual tickets, $447.73 for two. I called them in July to check status. They told me it would be fixed before the show. That never happened. I purchased tickets through Gotickets for Sherlock Holmes at the Cabaret theatre in Ashland Oregon. 5 tickets $80.00 per ticket. I requested them for the 20th of October 2024. they sent an email saying they were for the 19th of October which I cannot accept. I am unable to use them on that date. I requested they cancel them. They replied they buy them through a seller who they cannot access. they do have a sentence in their agreement that if it is the fault of the seller they can refund otherwise they will not. they sent me tickets for the wrong date so that would be the sellers fault. They were promptly sent an order summary and subsequently an order confirmation. It should be noted, upon request, the order confirmation was re-sent to them. The order was placed for the event, date, time, and location chosen by the buyer.
Prior to receiving this claim, this matter was thoroughly discussed with our customer. It should also be noted, in the interest of customer service, a resolution was offered to our customer, yet they declined. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There was never any resolution offered by the business. They just stated they will not cancel the transaction and refuse to refund me the money even though I contacted them less than 5 minutes after completing the transaction. The number they provide as a “contact us” is an automated messaging center and you can never get anyone on the phone to actually discuss. Moreover- this is their method of operation. They just scam you once and move on to the next client that falls for it. They don’t care about customer satisfaction or any of that.

The purchase of tickets is at the full discretion of the Buyer, and all sales are final. Due to the unique nature of tickets, they can't be replaced, hence there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. To order tickets, a Buyer first browse GoTickets’ listings for tickets. When the Buyer finds desirable tickets, the Buyer places an order to purchase the ticket(s). When an order is placed, Sellers receive notification of an order and confirm delivery. Per the GoTickets Terms of Use, agreed to during check out, all orders are final and, once placed, cannot be cancelled or retracted.
Our customer's purchase at 1:25 PM CST on 8/11/2024 was confirmed immediately and accurately filled the same day, in accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee. Our customer appears concerned that our phone number is just an automated message; however, we would like to clarify we have an active working phone number as well as chat and email support, from 8:00 AM CST to 11:00 PM CST every day, including holidays. We spoke with our customer various times via Live Chat as well as reached out via phone and left a voicemail.
Prior to receiving this claim, this matter was thoroughly discussed with our customer. I thought I was purchasing tickets for a show at the Civic Center on their website when I was actually directed to this website. I did not know that this was not the Civic Center until I received the e-mail from Gotickets. Immediately upon seeing this, I contacted them via chat to cancel the order ( maybe 2 minutes). I was told, I couldn't cancel because it was already fulfilled with a third party seller. I then called the number given on my PayPal account to speak to someone in person. I checked the status of my order and it was still waiting on the seller to confirm! I then spoke to Arden (of course, no last name would be supplied) and she said she would check on it and put me on hold for over 15 minutes. After this time, she returned and said she could not offer a cancellation. I would like the tickets cancelled and a full refund for $1397.97.Business Response

Our customer claims they were unaware they were using the GoTickets website to purchase tickets until receiving an email after their purchase, however nowhere on the site does it indicate GoTickets is the official site of this event or venue, and moreover, the site is clearly branded as GoTickets.
Our customer placed their order on the user driven site on 8/3/2024, for Moulin Rouge at Civic Center Music Hall - Oklahoma City, OK on 9/7/2024 2:00 PM local time. They were promptly sent an order summary and subsequently an order confirmation. The tickets were delivered on time per our buyer guarantee and our customer successfully accessed the tickets prior to the event. Prior to receiving this claim, this matter was thoroughly discussed with our customer. We consider this matter resolved, however if our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our support team.

I went to a Yankee game on Sunday and used this website to get a parking permit. The company took my money $107.99 and never sent me a parking permit. When I called the company and told them that I never received a parking permit they put me on hold for 45 minutes then came back on the line and told me everything was resolved and a new permit would get sent. Then we got off the phone then I never got a parking permit sent. If they’re doing this to me they are doing this to other people and robbing people. I contacted their customer service and they gave me the runaround and said that it was in the policy and I explained to them I never received a parking permit and I just want to refund and they said they can’t refund me and then I explain to them I never received the ticket and so on. I saved all of the information and the receipt confirmation if you need that for your records.
