  Paid for the insurance in full several yeaes ago. My car's transmission broke. It is a 2015 with 84,000, very well kept.
  
  After being at Nissan for 7 days and numerous calls they denied the claim. After asking why they denied it, they refuse to provide the report or explanation. I will be proceeding with a formal complaint with the BBB and other agencies.
  
  Everytime I call tgey advise that the claim department is busy and not available.

  This company is a complete scam!! Run as fast away as you can from this company!! THEY WILL NEVER HONOR ANY CLAIM!!! **** ***** is a rude, obnoxious and unprofessional. He is a liar and a scammer that claims to be a manager and refuses to rectify customer complaints!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Buyer Beware!!!

  I purchased and canceled 5 days later due to the negative reviews. ******** ***** seemed very professional and eloquent over the phone. She told me they processed my refund that same day. It's been 11 days and still have not received my refund. After reading the negative reviews it doesn't surprise me and it's a bit frustrating to have such professional acting employees be so deceitful to consumers. I don't know how this thing is going to land. It's just a good thing I used my credit card because they will assist me in resolving this.

  "Why are companies engaging in scams instead of being honest with their customers? They focus only on making money by selling products without standing behind them. The select auto policies and claims often contradict what Salespeople and Authorization departments tell you, which can be frustrating when you expect good coverage. I recently had a claim denied for five parts in my vehicle due to it being labeled as pre-existing by the company, even though the claim started with one issue."
  
  In October, my car's air conditioning stopped working, so I contacted Select Auto and took my car for diagnostics. I provided all the necessary information back to Select Auto while my car was at the mechanic's place for several days before their specialist came to check it. The diagnostics only showed an issue with the air conditioning, and nothing else. However, in October my claim was denied because my car's mileage was still below the average mileage required. I waited until my car reached the above-average mileage limit and called back in December. This time, they claimed that the issue was pre-existing, their Authorization department could not explain it to me properly, and he even got angry when I questioned him. He told me that I could not make any of the five claims when they only denied one claim. My advice is never to claim more than one issue in a single claim. I am not giving up and will give you feedback soon, I plan to file a complaint with BBB, FCC, FTC, the Attorney General's Office, the State Senator, and my lawyer. I will also share my experience with Select Auto Protect on social media.

  Auto Select Direct denied my claim on a made reason. They denied my road side assistance because of that made up reason, and left me stranded. I paid over $3,000 and they deny everything! Buyer Beware!

  If I could give them zero stars, I would. They refused to cover a covered service, costing me thousands of dollars. They have committed consumer fraud and I have judgment for actual and punitive damages for over $100,000, but they have hidden their assets and their address is just a drop box and everything they do is online. My attorneys have been working for nearly a year to try to collect. Do NOT buy their product. I see these good reviews online and they must be either fake people, or paid reviews, because this company is a SCAM.

  This extended warranty company Is an absolute scam. I purchased a 5 year 177,000 mile warranty from them and paid around 3800 dollars up front.
  
  1. I had an issue with my Range Rover a year later and signing with this company in the range of about 4000 dollars in expenses and they didn't cover the items in which they said they covered in the policy. so I paid 3000 of the 4000 dollars.
  
  2. The same day had suspension problems again and that would have cost me an additional 3500 dollars but before I had the work done, I called select auto and they declined to fix anything. So I decided to purchased a new car instead.
  
  3. I attempted to recover my losses by requestion a pro rated refund considering that I only used 1800 months of my 5 year warranty and they informed me that they subtract 200 dollars off the warranty every month so I was not entitled to a refund of any manner. So I received zero dollars back.
  
  4. Last but not least I asked them I could transfer my warranty to one of my other cars and I have been waiting a month for call back even though I call them 3-5 times a week.
  
  Be smart do not use this company they are horrible and do not care about the client!!!!

  I couldn't be happier with my recent experience with Select Auto Protect.
