  I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this company. Until now, my F150 had no recalls or known issues. First time I ever have an issue with the Cam Phaser and they’re calling it an “existing condition” and refusing full reimbursement. I had only put 1,000 miles on the vehicle since I purchased the warranty and paid $1,700 just two months ago. Now, they’re only refunding $1,000 and keeping $700 – for what, I’m not sure.
  
  Be warned: this company seems more interested in taking your money than providing real service. I strongly advise others to stay away. They will NOT return your calls, Jay-is the most incompetent person in the company.

  This is a scam company. I paid 2400 back in 23 for extended coverage on my v60 Volvo. My car never gives me problems, but I wanted peace of mind as it was over 100k. Well, it hit something in the road that blew out my tire, so I took it to my Volvo dealer just to make sure nothing happened to the suspension. My service advisor called them to file a claim, and I was advised they needed service records. No problem. I keep everything that is done outside of Volvo and so I sent it in immediately. This morning I called to check on the status and was told they have to review my records and then get an inspector out to Volvo, which could take up to 4 days. That's fine, I want to cancel my plan and get a refund, because that is what I was told I could do when I purchased it by **** ****. However, the person on the phone said "if you would have read the policy, there is only a refund within the first 30 days." A huge mistake on my end, and thus writing this review in the hopes of saving someone's money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SCAM

  The company is a scam. I submitted multiple claims and they always had an excuse to deny every claim. Even when they finally agreed to pay a small portion of one claim after lots of arguments, they never sent me the money. I read the policy very carefully and their reasons for denial were invalid but arguing with them was a waste of time. I finally cancelled the policy today. When I got the policy they said that I could cancel anytime and they would refund a pro rata portion. Now, I find out a pro rata share is after they take many deductions so it is not pro rata. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

  If you are good at lying, deceit, maybe even fraud you should consider a career at Select Auto Protect. I heard there is an opening because they recently terminated someone for telling the truth to a contract holder.

  STAY AWAY!!! Negative 10 stars. If you value your privacy and your hard earned money stay away from this company. Very slimy, dishonest and pushy. They will call you non stop even after you've asked them to stop calling. They don't care, they will still call you 20 times a day. I told them that I have already bought car warranty from another company and still they won't stop calling. They resorted to ordering me to cancel what I bought, get my money back and to buy from them at a discount. When that didn't work, they started threatening to flood my number with calls until I buy from them. If I was to reconsider buying from them, how can I bring myself to do it when I'm under threat? Lately they will call me and not say a word, just heavy breathing. They simply want to tie up my phone line.

  Purchased from Select Auto Protect a vehicle extended warranty. They promised me everything was covered and when I went to claim, they didn't cover a single issue. Claimed that all my issues were pre-existing. Offered $500 to help with the large amount of issues that arised and then claimed they wanted proof of repair before they could send me the $500. Requested cancel and its been 4 days and 6 emails and yet to hear from them. They replied to the first email to cancel to state they needed an odometer reading. When sent, they didn't reply thereafter. Looks like they are delaying to respond so they can pay back less when having to. This company here is a real SCAM!!!

  Quick to take your money . Not easy to get in touch with and when you do the claim process ends up being at least o week r more before their "independent adjuster" inspects your vehicle and makes a decision. So far I've had two claims placed and both were denied by *** ***** ( customer service, supervisor, manager claims,etc,etc,etc) for one reason or another. When denied ,they will not give you a written reason why and avoid your attempts to get one. Buyer beware. If you want to throw your money away, give it to me. I'll lie to you and cover absolutely nothing just as they do.

  This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I can't get any information about the corporate office the impression you get to speak to a guy named John who doesn't want to approve any claims. I've been trying to get my money back for a month they make them excuse every day. Do not use this company no matter what kind of deal they give you.

  I have purchased the premium auto extended warranty from Select Auto Protect for my vehicle and 2 times I filed a claim, both times it was rejected. First time, a fixing of a leak was denied based on regular 'wear and tear' reason. Second time since I took my car to auto repair on a Saturday and got a leak fixed, they refused reimbursement saying claim was not approved and run by Select Auto but it was not considered that they are closed on the weekends. They take the monthly payments but when it comes to claims they very conveniently refuse to pay the claim. We need extended warranty because our cars work daily and if there is something wrong it might be because of daily' wear and tear'.
