1 starHorrible horrible place to store your things! They raised my rent for a 10x15 which was $214 per month after 4 months to $317!Now I trying to move out on Nov 23 which is a Sunday as my next month at these high rates is due 11/24. The manager told me I will still be charged $317 on 11/24 as no one works at their unit in the office on 11/23 so they cant check me out!!!! I will be out before 11/24 and they can see it on 11/24 yet they insist on charging me for another month when I am gone before the use date! Horrible mad you call district managers and they do nothing either. ****************Self Storage Plus

1 starI regret opening a unit with this company. I had two separate units at two different self storage pluses because I moved and didnt have space in my apartment. Both locations have terrible customer service, this one used to be great as I spoke to the same Woman and really liked her but i dont think shes there anymore. I ended up having a baby so driving out to this one in *********** is a bit of a hassle for me. I had my account on autopay and at some point it just stopped, so i kept having to reset it and making a manual payment. The notice they send out says if youre on autopay please disregard. I didnt notice until the second notice that my autopay was again disabled, only this time I received a lien notice. I called because it would not allow me to make an online payment. I left a voicemail and called subsequently every day for a week. The *** was very friendly but the issue wasnt resolved. I cannot just walk into the location to make a payment and if anyone had bothered getting back to me the first time i called I wouldnt have double the charges. I received another lien notice via email, then sent an email stating I had been trying to get in contact with someone that was not an automated system to resolve it but no one got back to me and shockerno one responded to my email. I left a ****** review a week ago and the owner responded and asked I send an email to customer experience.Self Storage Plus

1 starThere are several reasons for writing this review at this time. I have been a customer of your business since May 25. I am in the process of moving and needed a storage facility to store stuff until my house is built. I noticed on my move in that there were only 3 carts in this 1000 unit space (your website does states carts). I thought that was weird. I have to walk this whole property to find a cart. There should be two carts in every doorway, so we dont have to wait to cart our stuff in if someone else is using the cart in my same section. ******** said she would work one getting more carts for each section. I have been back repeatedly and now there are only 2 carts in the whole facility for everyone to use. That means I have been moving one box at a time from my car to my unit when the carts are busy. 2 carts for 1000 units is ridiculous. This is not a high quality consistent customer service experience I can count on to quote your website. I am older in age and this is not what I signed up for.I have also seen multiple lights out on my row. I do not feel safe going in a underlit facility. I have also been in there when the front gate is wide open. I really dont feel safe. So I have left and had to come back at another time because it was after hours. The back door is broken and has yet to be fixed. I am not sure why these things have not been addressed by corporate and am getting tired of hearing the same thing every time I complain to ********. No additional carts, lights not fixed, doors still broken and the last one price increase. You have chosen to increase my price of my rental 93% to $207.The price on your website is $143. I assume everyone has had a price increase after 4 months of rental. You have not addressed any of the issues that your manager has forwarded to you. Is this price increase across the board or am I singled out? I cannot contact anyone about my increase. There is no corporate #. No one has address the increase.Self Storage Plus

1 starI originally signed up online for the web special of $85.50. Within 3 months it jumped up to $155. From there it has only increased and now Im paying $245/mo. This month I had an issue due to my wallet being stolen right before a vacation and by the time the new card came in I was late. After being with this money hungry company for almost 2 years they choose to loose a customer because despite all the rental increases they wont help out one time and waive the $45. So I am forced to pay it but I am also ending my contract and moving out of this place.Self Storage Plus

1 starIf i could leave LESS stars, I would.TERRIBLE. Once they have your bank information, they will try to charge your account again. they tried to tell me I signed up for a special rate ($107) then two months later I was auto charged $205...?? they told me it was a 'special' and i only rec'd the $107 rate for 60 days, however, according to the LEGAL CONTRACT i signed they have to give 30 days notice before they can raise my rent. I had to jump through SO many hoops to get my money refunded. They had the AUDACITY to try to hold my stuff for ****** and tried to get me to move to another unit! are you kidding me?! Now that I am out of there, as I gave my notice and moved all my stuff out of their facility... they sent me an invoice and tried to charge my bank AGAIN! ***! My bank put a stop to it of course, but when I called I didn't get an apology or any sign of contrition. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! SUPER SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!Review fromJennifer S

1 starI rented a unit at the ******, ** location in June 2024 when it was still Valley Storage. I signed for $164. In November of that year, they raised the rent $20 (12.2%). In March 2025, Self Storage Plus bought out this location. In October 2025, they raised the rent from $164 to $234 = $70 = 42.68%.Their email notification says they did this "to ensure we are offering competitive rates and exceptional storage solutions". They say they've "carefully assessed the current market rates". Of course, if you look around the storage market in this area, Self Storage Plus owns almost every storage facility. So in other words, they "carefully assessed" the rates they set, and decided to raise them nearly 50%.I've reported this company to the **** for monopolistic business practices. 1 starHeres a condensed version of your message limited to ***** characters:What is going on at this place? Why can't we speak with an employee on the phone or get replies to our emails when there's often no one present? Theres always a sign stating that employees have left but never return. Is this facility unmanned? When we last saw an employee, she said she was "on break" and couldn't assist. I've been overcharged by $142 without notice, and this place feels shady and untrustworthy.They have our information from voicemails, emails, and in-person visits, yet theres been no follow-up.Update: My partner recently visited to address these issues and spoke with someone claiming to be a 'manager.' They stated their system was 'down' and promised to follow up the next daya familiar excuse. When my partner mentioned the doubled fees after six months, the manager agreed it seemed suspicious. Yet, theres been no follow-up.I left a review on ******, and an employee replied with an email address for assistance, despite my note that outreach would likely go unanswered. I emailed that address and received no response. The last time my partner visited, no one was available to help.This month, another charge appeared for an amount I never agreed to, with no changes since my last update. I am out of the area, so phone and email are my only communication options. This place is dishonest, and I sincerely hope they face consequences for their poor practices.Self Storage Plus

1 starThis is by far the worst storage place to do business with. I honestly believe they structure their business operating hours around when customers are working so they dont have to engage in business affairs. Trying to talk to someone direct they send you to a ***** number and give you the run around so they dont have to deal with you. Trying to access the phone payment option is inaccessibility if you have more than one account. Theres no helpful customer service support whatsoever.Self Storage Plus
