In early January 2025, I paid $281.75 for a monthly parking spot at **************************************** to begin on 2/28/25. On 1/24/25, I was assigned a parking pass. However, on or about 2/6 (prior to picking up the pass), I requested that the pass be cancelled. I received an email confirmation stating that the account would be canceled for Location #***. On 2/14/25, I sent an email to Colonial ************* requesting a refund since I cancelled the parking pass before the effective date. On 2/20/25, I received an email from **** stating that the refund was submitted for processing and would be returned to me in the original form of payment. On 3/20/25, I called and spoke to a lady who was extremely rude and hung up the phone while inquiring as to why my refund still had not been processed. I sent an email the same day asking for a status, but to no avail. It has been three months, and the business has not made any effort to return my money. They have been given sufficient time to address this. Please assist. Thank you

On 12/30 I was told my card declined I used another payment card. I was told after both payments that it didnt go through and I had to pay again. One of charges I used Apple Pay for and could see that it had come out. The geneltman did not give me a receipt and was not trying to let me leave despite having paid twice. I did now I have 2 charges on 2 cards from colonial parking fkr $38. Worst experience ever. Weekend rate was posted at $19. It did not say per day. I did not leave and come back I parked my car at 4pm and came back at 1am. Why was I charged for 2 whole days as well as double charged. I reached out to the merchant **** ****** on 12/31 and have reached out multiple times since then with no answer. I provided proof of the double charges and everything.

I parked in the garage at ************* on 1/8/2025. When I went to pay my slip I was surprised that it was 25$ instead of the 15$ that it used to be. I thought I just missed the sign at the front of the garage but when I went to look there was NO sign at all saying how expensive the garage was. And on the colonial website it still says 15$. When I called to try to get it resolved I was told that the landlord said they didnt want any pricing at the front and that I was being a child I dont think its legal for a business not to advertise their prices clearly and if the only posting of it is online and is a lower prices they should have to honor the lower price.

On December 20, I parked at the garage at ******************************************************************************** at approximately 12:30. When I arrived, there was NO ONE at the booth and the top level was full with cars so I parked on the second level where I needed to leave my key with an attendant. By the time I got back to the top of the garage where the booth was, yet again, no one was there and I waited quite a while before I left to check into my hotel and then head to the venue where I was assisting in set up and organization for an event. I called the garage company and spoke with a lady who had means to speak to the attendant she said and was informed that I needed to return asap or else my truck would be towed due to me possibly blocking others in. I informed the phone agent that I, in fact, was not blocking any vehicles and that actually I would be the one at risk for getting blocked and a reminder that no one was at the booth and how long was I to wait for someone in not securing their post and doing their job? I told her that when I was done with set up I could return and move my vehicle to another level, which I did, three hours later. I attempted to exit on December 21 at approximately 08:30. where yet again no one at the booth. I honked my horn a couple times when an attendant appeared (not from the booth) and was charged $52 instead of the $31 shown for overnight. I told her I came to that garage prior two weeks before and was told that was a mistake on their part by that particular attendant and she told me that they made a change a few days prior where I had to pay the $52 to exit. I asked where was that posted and she told me that I simply just had to pay. I attempted to contact the company thru the intercom system and the woman yelled over me speaking with the agent informing her not to listen to me or lift the gate for me to exit. There was a heated back and forth exchange with the attendant and I where she kept yelling over me speaking.

I reserved parking at the *************************************************** location for Friday, 29 Nov 2024 and paid the $21 charge. On the 29th, I arrived at the parking garage and tried scanning my ** code to gain entry into the parking garage. The scanner recognized the ** code in the capacity that it displayed my name on the screen but did not raise the parking gate. I tried multiple times but in the end, needed to obtain the parking ticket. Note I arrived at 9:55am and was within my parking window. When leaving that afternoon, I tried the ** code again but the gate would not raise. I was required to submit my parking ticket and pay an additional $21 parking fee in order to exit the garage. Please note I exited within my planned reservation end time.Since that time, I have submitted 3 emails to Colonial Parking asking for assistance and spoken on the phone once to representatives with Colonial Parking. There have no responses to my emails. The phone conversation directed me to send the original email to another person who would elevate it- again, there has been no response.

      Hello

I have been issued a refund from Colonial Parking for the overcharged amount and that credit was showing up in my bank acct as of 7 Jan.

Thank you for any added "pressure" that helped to resolve this.

The people who run the colpark garage at ******** in ** ** are not only consistently rude to women, they are also crooks. Having told me I would get a refund of part of me prepaid parking if I returned within one hour, when I did so they refused to honor this pledge. Does colonial have any ethical requirements for their employees?

I purchased a $20 parking pass with ******** from 11pm to 11pm. I arrived 15 minutes before 11pm, and the garage scanned my code, accepted it, and let me in. Then, when I exited around 4pm, the spot tried charging me an extra $**** seems that their pricing is:- $9 for the first hour - $20 for the day However, I was charged the "first hour" or "entrance" fee twice -- I was charged the $20 for 24 hours, plus an additional $9 as if the extra 15 minutes was a totally separate in-and-out charge. This deceptive charge is not listed anywhere on their terms of service, nor is it listed when I enter the garage. They hold your car hostage and expect you to pay $9 for 15 minutes of parking or they won't let you exit. This practice must be illegal.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

       Complaint: 22282012

I am rejecting this response because:

The fact that you accepted my ** code on entrance, without any notification, posting, or warning that the ** code is invalid, is deceptive.

Why did my ** code successfully scan to open the gates? Why are there no signs showing fees around the gates? Are you suggesting you could have charged an infinitely high rate with no signage, no warning, no posting? Why not charge $50,000 next time somebody is late -- your flimsy argument that this practice is fair would work for a charge like that too.

      Regards,

I park at one of their garages. Im a resident of the building where the garage is located. The gate is constantly broken. I called for assistance trying to exit the garage. The protocol when this happens is they ask for your name and unit number and then open the gate. I dealt with a beast!!! She refused to open the gate. She told me that I had to read the screen, that I had to do this and that as if I worked for her! She refused to open the door! I could not leave my own home and I pay close to $300 to park there. They cannot hire people like this!!! I demand a response. I demand action against this situation: fix the gate! Provide us with reliable transponders! Dont hire lowlifes to deal with your customers!

On August 7, 2024, I parked in a parking garage next to an office building at ************************************* and went into the building to attend a deposition with my client at the office of the other party's attorney. There were no signs in front of the garage indicating payment was required to park in the garage. There were no parking meters or other machines where one would pay for parking. When I returned to my car, I found a "Parking Notice" on my windshield stating there was a violation for "unauthorized parking" and a fine of $10.00 issued by Colonial Parking. It directed me to pay the fine online at colonial.rmcpay.com. My client and the court reporter received similar notices and fines. I went back into the office building, notified the other attorney's personnel about the fines, and was told that their landlord recently began this practice and it is causing chaos in the building. I don't know if refusing to pay the "fine" will adversely affect my credit.

Parked at Colonial Parking lot on Tuesday, June 4 while visiting *************************. Entered the garage at 4:30 pm approximately and the evening rate did not start until 5:00 pm. Paid $26.00 to park via credit card. Checking statement and the location/attendant charged me $26.00 and $14.00. $14.00 was not an authorized charge by me. Fraudulent action. I need to be credited the $14. I had several colleagues that attended the same event. I am checking with them to closely monitor their account to see if there is a pattern of this fraudulent action.
