I ordered 3 uninspected pallets from BULQ . The main things in 2 of those pallets was a dining table with 6 chairs and a 4 piece sectional . I purchased them but when I opened the pallets they had only sent me the dining table and only 1 piece of the sectional . I understand this is a uninspected pallet but the manifest clearly said dining table with 6 chairs and a 4 piece sectional . Which means I should have recieved a dining table with 6 chairs & 4 piece sectional uninspected to damage and possibly missing parts ect . I did not receive more than half of my order and BULQ is telling me they will not open a claim for me for a partial refund . This should have been listed as a 1 piece sectional , uninspected and a dining table , also uninspected . BULQ also has a 98% guarantee on all lots and the manifest in these lots clearly stated to expect these items . That’s what the manifest said , that’s what I ordered and that is what I expect to get . I would expect to receive the dining table with 6 chairs , and the 4 piece sectional . The dining chairs could have been broken and the sectional could have been ripped and that would be acceptable as it’s an uninspected pallet but to not send me more than half of my order and then blame me is not oka . According to bulqs own policy they have a 98% guarantee on ALL LOTS . And the manifest is clearly stating what is in the pallet and priced accordingly . I am expecting those items to be sent to me , per that manifest and bulqs 98% guarantee or partially refunded .

      Hi ******,

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize that your recent experience wasn't what you expected. Uninspected returns are a popular category due to those hidden treasures that can be found. However, this condition can be a bit tricky and a more significant risk for your business if you're not prepared and dont know what to expect. Some uninspected return lots can arrive in conditions from new to salvage and also arrive incomplete, but there is no way to know what to expect before delivery when you're sourcing that condition.  To lower the risk, I would suggest sourcing new or like new. When sourcing this category, it's less of a risk, and you know exactly what to expect. With uninspected returns, those items are as is.

During the checkout process, there is a pop up box that confirms the condition you are purchasing and breaks down what to expect. What you received with each of these lots is sets that are incomplete, therefore we are unable to approve the claim as they are within the condition of uninspected returns.

      Hi there,

I apologize again for the experience you had with this order. Unfortunately, we cannot file a claim for this order as incomplete sets, are part of the gamble of uninspected returns. We do recommend sourcing new condition lots if you prefer to have the guarantee that the items will be complete and fully functional.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

As I said . BULQ dishonestly sold me 2 pallets and I no longer want a price adjustment. I want to return them and I want a 100% refund .
Bulq stated explicitly in the pallet items that there is a 4 piece sectional and a 6 piece chairs with dining table in the other pallet . BULQ should NOT be specifying the amount of items or pieces . Since BULQ specified that in this pallet 4 sectionals were going to come I purchased it . I would NOT have purchased the pallet if this pallet description did not specify the number of sectionals because I would have seen online that it is a 4 piece and that some pieces may be missing . I paid for a 4 piece sectional amongst other things and I expect to get it .
BULQ counted those pieces and priced the pallet according to that . Bulq could have easily said just sectional or dining set but I believe they specify numbers as complete sets to sell more pallets . I bought the pallet according to the description and the description was clear that this was supposed to be a 4 piece sectional and a 6 piece dining chairs with table .
again , if the table was missing legs or backs that would be within the scope of uninspected / as is pallets . Those items were never sent to me , at all ! I will be disputing this charge with my bank .
BULQ should be sending all the contents of the things they listed . They should not be allowed to specify counts as the contents of the pallet when / if they do not know . As they listed a 4 piece sectional and 6 chairs and table dining set that is what they are saying is in the pallet . Please refund me for the shipping and price of those pallets and send me a label so I could send them back to you . And maybe put them for sale without specifying the number of pieces .

I have purchased over 20 pallets/boxes from Bulq. And only a few of those purchases are what I considered acceptable based on their descriptions. Most of them were missing items, came with severely damaged items, or had wrong items. I have filed claims directly with Bulq. While I never really felt satisfied with their resolution, I'll just accept them and move on because at least they tried and I wanted to maintain a good relationship with them. But what really annoyed me about this order placed on 11/15/2021 for 35 items @ the cost of $5,074.69, was that they were rude and treated me like a liar!! And this is for filing a claim for a few missing items. They denied the claim because they "inspected" the items they sold as "uninspected items", and were convinced all product were intact at the time of shipping. Well, that made it even worse because that would also mean that they were well aware that about 80% of the items in that pallet had moderate to severe damages, while a couple of them just belonged in the trash can! Most of the laptops in the pallet were DEMO laptops (undisclosed in the manifest), meaning they were rough handled with dents, scuffs, and scratches, and hard to sell. Because of the missing, misrepresented, and damaged items, I'll be struggling to recover half of what I paid for this box. I would therefore like to request for a $950 refund to account for the stated issues with pallet. Thanks.

      Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and for providing this information. This case was audited prior to the case leaving our warehouse. The lot was audited for the number of items included not for the condition of the items inside. Items in an uninspected returns lot are not inspected so the condition is unknown (as stated on our website). Uninspected returns lots can have items in any condition, meaning you can have functional items, demo items, or completely non-functional items. Some will be able to be used right out of the case, others will have to be used for parts or might require fixing. This is why uninspected returns lots can be a gamble. Additionally, BULQ makes no guarantees on the profitability of lots. I see that you have already been refunded $959.09 within your past 3 orders. We recommend sourcing from our new condition category in the future. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Customer Care team at [email protected].

      Hi *****,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I apologize for the issues you had with your recent orders. Per our claims policy, we cannot process a refund for the original retail value of items in your lot as this is just an estimate. I do see that our pricing team verified that the lots were priced correctly when you bought them. Regardless of what was listed for the Original Retail, the wholesale value (the amount we use to refund items when a refund is due) was correct at the time of purchase. We also require that all claims are started within 7 days of when your lots are delivered. We cannot proceed with claims outside of the claim period, per our Terms of Purchase: https://www.bulq.com/terms-of-purchase/.

      Thank you.

      12/21/2021

      Hi *****,

I apologize for the experience you have had with BULQ. Per our definition of Original Retail Value that is stated on our website, Original Retail represents the estimated listed price when the product was first released to market. Original Retail prices are provided for your reference and may not always represent prevailing offers in current marketplaces. Original Retail is based on the condition of new, does not reflect offers of non-new conditions, and does not include offers with discounts, rebates, or other price adjustments. Therefore, we cannot file claims for items that have a discrepancy on the original retail value. Since your lots were purchased in the uninspected returns condition, it is possible to receive salvage or non functional items as the condition of the items is unknown. I have included a link to our support page that includes definitions of our conditions and original retail value. https://www.bulq.com/faqs/

I am rejecting this response because: There is no resolution to the complaint.  They tried to say the retail price was true but that's a lie.  This is a bait and switch kind of deal when you show a price that is higher then the items actually ever cost then they can sell them for more money.  I mean why not just say they cost thousands more per item if they can just lie about the price.  Also they did not even respond to everything the complaint is about.  They need to readdress this whole mater.  Looks like this company is going down hill anyways.

I purchased a pallet on 09/14/2021 from BULQ for the total cost of $504 and some change and within 2 days the shipping company has lost my shipment. I have bought several pallets from this company and have NEVER had any issues with any of the pallet deliveries BUT those pallets, all the items were in a big box so you couldnt see what was in it.. I have spoken to the freight company and BULQ directly and they are wanting me to wait 3 weeks basically to see if they find this pallet. That is 500 dollars that is completely gone and i have everyday expenses i take care of. I am a reseller whom has put over a thousand dollars into BULQs pockets for them to handle this so unprofessionally and inadequate that I will be advising everyone I know who resells to NEVER buy from them again. This is so unprofessional it makes my blood boil. The shipment is lost and I want my money back. Simple as that. I shouldnt have to wait 3 weeks because other people failed at their job.

I've reached out to Bulq about my orders from 7/8/21 and 7/15/21. I run a FIFO system where the items I receive in first are the first I manifest and list for my eCommerce business. I've come to find out that Bulq has a 7 day "complaint" timeframe. I ordered both boxes as brand new ($140, $170). I let Bulq know after 7 days about my big ticket item ***** shoes) had 2 left shoes in box, and 3 other items and they gave me 10$ back. After this I really got into the boxes and I found multiple items with ****** return labels taped/stapled to them, 2 pairs of jeans with large stains, smelly athletic shorts, multiple packages short of items (2 pairs of underwear in a 4 pack) and I'd guess about half my items had issues. ******* let me know she would let their warehouse know. This is uncouth business practice and I'm not sure when it went so downhill. I now know to check right away but this 7 day policy is to protect themselves from the defective/returned products they posture as new.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out to us. I apologize for the issues you had with this lot. I see that we were able to make a one time exception and file a claim for this lot even though it was outside of our 7 day claim policy. Per our policy, we refund based on the wholesale value of the disputed items. The wholesale value of the 4 disputed items in your claim was $7.31 which is how we got to a  refund of $10. I hope this helps clarify! In the future, please be sure to let us know of any issues within 7 days of receiving your order so we can start the claim process.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:no mention was made as to me getting 2 boxes with nearly half of my items being returned/used/incomplete/etc.  I wanted to write more on the BBB complaint but had to paraphrase due to character count.  I run a FIFO system where I usually have a 30 day or so window to take a look at goods and accept them.  With not knowing this I was given 1 days to let them know everything that was wrong.  I hurried up and gathered the things I had that were wrong and sent it to them.  After this I had more time to go through everything thoroughly and found items with large grease stains, return receipts/tags stapled or taped to clothing, packs of items that were said to hold 4 (piece of underwear) that had 2, smelly, pre-used athletic shorts, 2 left **** shoes in a taped up box, etc etc.  This 7 day period that Bulq allows is to cover their own butts as they are hoping people will not check that quickly, such as me in this case.  IF I ever chose to do business with Bulq in the future, I would make sure to open the box as soon as I got it.  Their guarantee says "98% correct or they'll refund the difference" - does not say within 7 days, so misleading advertising and guarantee as well.  Bulq has sent me these 2 boxes and the higher priced ticket items were unsellable.  The higher priced items are why I buy the boxes.  And then to get a "pittance" for the goods I'm looking forward to is very inadequate.  I can now see on the BBB site that many others have had these issues and seems Bulq is doing nothing to fix this.  I run my business honestly and make good on my promises when needed.  The least I can expect is for others to do the same and not try to wash over these issues with jargon and small amounts of renumeration.  Very frustrating and a bad look for Bulq.  I've had good luck in the past (for the most part) and have done business with them for a long time, although I hadn't ordered anything for awhile as I'd found other areas to source from, but was excited when I found these "new" boxes and thought I'd have success working with them again.  Alas, it wasn't to be.  I'm hoping some sort of resolution can be found other than "$10" when nearly half of my items were incorrect/non-sellable "new" condition.

Thanks for your time again, hoping this is the last message I will have to send as now Bulq is taking up my time and money.

      Regards,

I bid on an online lot. That I had products in it that I really wanted. They even had it listed that item was actually in the box. So when I go the lot via ups opened the box and only 1 of the 2 items were In the box. I sent an email to them with photos and all. All that they have tried to do is refund me a lousy $5.00 the product is worth $70.00 so they have lied and said that the products were in there and severely deceived me by doing so. I would like all of my money back as they are not truthful with what they listed for sale. It was listed as new in the box. When in fact only 1 of those items were there.
