Please do not join It's just lunch. These review must be fake, as they have to be writing them themselves. I have been a member for almost three years and have gone on 3 dates. Which were definitely not "picked for me". I am a professional woman in her 50's and finally decided to spend some money (instead of dating apps) to seriously look for someone that I could be compatible. I looked up the reviews on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau and they are as bad as I expected. I spent $2995 with the promise of 12 dates. This place is such a scam. Not only did I not hear back from anyone for months, but they also set you up with people that are not part of their program, nor put in the same monetary investment I did. I'm waiting to get my "refund" of $500 now that the contract is about to run out. 3 years and 3 dates. Let's do the math. I spent close to $1000 per date. I've had 6 "matchmakers" in the 3 years. Please look at yelp or the BBB to get the real reviews. What is written below is not the case.It's Just Lunch Response

IJL has provided me with consistent quality dates with attractive members. Maggie has been very friendly and supportive in this process, going so far as to discount my fees whenever I am out of the area for extended periods of time. It’s been a good experience for me. IJL is a great way to meet quality single professionals. I usually work with Maggie who is very professional and attentive to my questions and feedback on dates. IJL will arrange everything about the date. All you have to do is show up and meet your date. Even if it does not work out, IJL has plenty of other matches to meet. Chip PIt's Just Lunch Response

Most of who I meet I am not compatible with, but I do enjoy going out to the restaurants they send me to. I do enjoy meeting people; it gets me out of the house and going to place I would not go alone. Maybe I don't find the perfect person here, but I do get out and I talk to a lot more people now this is a pattern. I would mostly just go nowhere anyway. Society is all screwed up with respect to how men and women relate, why not just focus on going out.It's Just Lunch Response
