    In the beginning of June 2022 I went to Dr. DENTAL in Norwalk, **. After the evaluation it was determined I needed a root canal and crown procedure. At that time I did not have dental insurance as I just relocated to ** from *** and was looking for work. Dr. DENTAL got me approved for a high interest credit agency to cover the procedure. The total cost was $5,000.00. On 8/13/2023 The permanent crown had cracked in half. Obviously upset that Im paying all this money and in barely a year it cracked off. Dr DENTAL had agreed over the phone that they would cover the costs and set me up an appointment. Upon arriving that day the front end manager asked me for a "evaluation fee" of $140 dollars. I was working at ******* ******** ********* **** and had insurance by this time. I expressed wanting to see the Dr first and make a plan because I was upset all the time and money spent to be back there with a broken crown. The gentleman denied me that right. I expressed Id pay on my way out or to be billed. He wanted to then use my insurance but I didn't want to use my yearly benefits. We went back and forth and then he gave me a "Refusal of Service" letter which was not even filled out completely. Clearly upset I went to my car and started to call around. I found another dentist that was willing to see me and help me. The new dentist asked I get the records from Dr. DENTAL which I still have never received. The new dentist acknowledged and put on paper it broke due to an improperly done procedure. I had to pay another 2,000 to another doctor. I stopped paying on the $5,000.00 as this should not be my responsibility due to the improper work done. This bill has hit my credit report and Dr. DENTAL still never calls back. I already had paid on some of the debt. But Dr. DENTAL should pay the rest and remove it from my credit report.

    Wonderful staff and dentists but the manager, Jerry, is unprofessional, arrogant, ignorant and abusive.. I was there for a few visits and Dr. Nom was incredible. His work was impeccable. I had a temporary crown that was on too long because I had been in the hospital and I was in extreme nerve pain. I spoke to Jerry about coming in sooner because the pain was unbearable and I needed the permanent crown put on. When I showed up, I was told that only Dr. Nom could treat me but he wasn’t in that day. I was very upset that Jerry had not told me this. One of the front desk people said they’d try to call Dr. Nom to see if he could come in sooner. They said they’d call me and two days later, I had to call THEM for an update. No one followed up. I spoke to Jerry who turned it around on me, saying “I should have known that no one but Dr. Nom could help me” and basically saying that I was rude to the staff and they don’t want rude people there. I was shocked. I was upset that day but apologized to the staff for being cranky because I was in so much pain. He was demanding apologies, hanging up the phone, and threatening me with dismissal of service if I basically, didn’t do and say what he wanted. It was insane. All because he could not step up and take responsibility. I absolutely stood up for myself in the conversation and he turned it around and called me rude. It was such a terrible experience - I actually called the police to report the incident. They need to get rid of this guy ASAP. He is really hurting this practice and if I would was one of the dentists, I would be livid. To treat a patient like this when they are in pain and HE’S made an error is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced.
