Jan. 30, 2023, I purchased a ********* refrigerator model # ********** for $1398.00. from Lew White Appliances in ******* **. After it was installed and the covering removed, there was a small dent in the freezer door. I should have made them take it back as I wasn’t informed of the damage beforehand. I was assured that the door would be replaced as that was what the warranty was for. I called weeks later and was told the door would be replaced. Nothing happened. In early spring I stopped by the store and inquired about their replacing the door. The man in charge had a defensive attitude and claimed it took many months to get a replacement. As of this date, July 31, 2023, I have heard nothing from the company. I believe they have no intention of replacing the door. At this point I want either the door replaced as they promised or refund me the price of the freezer door. I am very disappointed with this situation as I want to support small businesses. Are you able to call ********* to see if Lew White has ordered a new door.? Why can’t Lew White replace my door from another in their stock? I guess the next step is Small Claims Court.
