Chair was ordered in April. I received confirmation that chair was pending shipping. Didn't hear anything else during May and June. Contacted company end of June. Stated that had not received the chair from company that I ordered from. I asked for a refund (total cost of chair $1310.63) and they agreed to refund. Heard nothing through most of July. End of July I tried to call (no answer), tried to email X3 (no response) but was able to chat live. Representative sent confirmation that refund was now being processed. **** ** ******* received notice that refund was processing shortly after. Refund was never processed. Per **** ** ******* funds were never received. Since than I have tried to email, call and live chat with no response. States live chat available 7 days a week until midnight. Has not been available at all for the last 3 days. No one is answering phone. Not sure what else to do.Business Response

I placed several orders for thousands of dollars of furniture. I kept inquiring about shipping and was told the items were coming soon. It's been months now. (1) I ordered two lanterns from LightTrends.com on February 20, 2024, and received a confirmation of my order by email that day.
(2) On February 21, 2024, LightTrends.com posted the charge for the lanterns to my credit card account in the amount of $858.16.
(3) I knew that it would take a while for the manufacturer of the lanterns, ********* ******** (******* *** *********), to produce them. I waited until June.
(4) In June, I contacted LightTrends.com twice via live chat from their website. Both times I was told that they would contact ********* ******** to check on my order and send me an email reply. I never received an email reply.
(5) On July 16, 2024, I contacted LightTrends.com by online email from their website, which created a ticket (ID *****) and I received an email message which said "A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response.(usually within 24 hours)." I never received a response.
(6) In July I contacted Northeast Lantern to check on the status of my order. They responded promptly and cordially, but they could find no record of my order. They also noted that currently they are fulfilling orders submitted no earlier than June. Had they received my order in February, it would have been fulfilled long ago.
(7) LightTrends.com gave me a link to check on the status of the ticket or add a comment, but when I tried to do that I was unable to access the website. ("To view the status of the ticket or add comments, please visit ********************************************************.")
(8) I would like LightTrends.com to refund my money ($858.16) to my credit card account immediately so that I can purchase the lanterns through another vendor.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: (a) I have not seen the credit of $858.16 posted to my credit card account and (b) my complaint was not that I could not contact the company; I was able to do that. My complaint was that I never received a response from the company, despite three assurances that I would, until I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint.

I ordered a chandelier on 01/28/24. There was absolutely no indication that it was not in stock or that there would be any delay in processing the order. As of today, 02/20/24, I've contacted Lighttrendss 4 times to check on the status and I was repeatedly told it was going to ship shortly.
To date, I still have no shipping confirmation.
I would NEVER do business with this firm again since they cannot be relied upon to process orders in a timely fashion or to provide accurate information on order status.Customer Answer

I placed an order on November 1st for floor lamp for $365.15 to LightTrends entity. I have never received the item and reached out to them multiple times and they said their supplier kept pushing back the date. Finally I was instructed to ask for a refund because it would not be here until June.
The business owner Emerson C**** committed to refunding me my entire order 365.15$ in an email. The refund was initiated through ****** (my original form of payment) but was cancelled on Feb 1st. I reached out again and he stated he would resend it first thing the next morning 12th. There has still been no refund.Business Response

I placed an order on July 3, 2023 and have been charged in full. The shipping estimate given was 2-4 weeks. I still have not received my order. What is especially concerning is that I asked for a realistic shipping estimate and was told before August 1, 2023. When that date passed I inquired again and was told August 7th or 8th. Still nothing. Now they are not responding to emails. Worried that I have been scammed, I started searching for online reviews of this company and see that others have had similar experiences.
