    I placed two orders with this company for light fixtures.

    Website says domain up for sale, phone number disconnected and I'm out $1,834.50
    I may just be screwed out of the money, but trying to see if I can recoup my loss.

    Item was ordered and paid for October 11, 2024. It is a custom made replacement of a colonial light fixture originally made by Hanover Lighting that is no longer in production. Lighttrends Mr. Emerson C**** indicated that they had the moulds and ability to manufacture a replacement. He gave me the item number and the order was placed and paid in full by cc. Being a limited run and special order I was told that it would take at least 90 days before production. On January 12, 2025 I sent an email to Lighttrends (it did not bounce) inquiring about my order. I received no reply. On February 10, 2025 I emailed Emerson C**** directly (email did not bounce) with a copy of my order showing payment. I have received no reply. Today, March 6, 2025 I tried to call all numbers previously listed in correspondence to find all have been disconnected/not available. Also, all website URLs are no longer valid and domain names are now available for purchase! Internet search so far shows no evidence of bankruptcy but admittedly I have not spent hours searching records such as listings with ** ********* ** *****, etc. Apparently my only recourse is to file a complaint with my CC company/bank and try to get my money refunded. I await your reply as to how to proceed, Thank you in advance.

    Placed order ********* on November 29, 2024, and was charged on same day. Item has not shipped and cannot reach anyone on 6 different occasions to learn when items will be shipped.     I ordered a light from Lighttrend on 10/11/2024. It never shipped, despite their repeated assurances it would, so I canceled the order on 11/7/2024 and was told by Lighttrend I had been refunded. Fast foward to today - I am reviewing my credit card transactions, and never received a refund. When I reached out to Lighttrend via their online chat, they told me this was an error because they had recently changed credit card processors but that the manufacturer had actually sent the light to me earlier this month, so they would NOT be refunding me until they received the light despite their error. The chat agent also told me they sent me an email on 12/30/2024 informing me that the light had not in fact been canceled and attaching tracking information - I can assure you I never received this email. This strikes me as a classic bait and switch, and this approach clearly violates federal law and *** guidance.

    An email was sent requesting the fixture be returned with a return label. Proof of delivery shows the a delivery photo of the product delivered to her front door. We did send this email to no response.  The fixture does need to be returned for the refund to be completed.

    I am rejecting this response because: (1) I never received the package; (2) I never got any email from Lighttrends alerting me that the package had erroneously been sent out after being canceled nearly two months earlier; and (3) Even if Lighttrends shipped the package out, this was their mistake as I had canceled in early November 2024 and been assured of a refund, and I am owed a refund regardless under federal and state law. Whether I received a package or not is irrelevant. Again, this strikes me as a scam.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I did not and have not admitted I got any package, nor am I responsible for a package that was delivered to my address nearly two months after I canceled the order and was told by the company I would receive a refund. I'm not sure what happened to the package, but it could have very easily been stolen off my porch (I live in an urban area, ******** **, where porch theft is rampant). When I'm expecting a package and receive it, I immediately take it inside. I had no notice of this package because, again, as far as I knew my order had been canceled two months earlier.

    I ordered a light fixture from LightTrends.com for $327.25 charged to my credit card on 03/16/2024. I never received the product. When I wrote on 03/30/24, I was told it went into back order, but when it had not arrived by 05/06/24, I requested a refund in writing. Despite this and multiple other written requests over many months and Mr. C****'s assurances that a refund is forthcoming, I have not received my requested refund. Mr. C**** is not longer responding to my written requests. Apparently per online customer reviews (***** *****) other customers have been similarly defrauded.

    I ordered two outdoor end tables on 8/4/2024. I was told they were in stock and would be shipping within two weeks. I did not hear from the company until 8/19 when I was told they were back ordered and would be shipping directly from the manufacturer. On 8/30 I again contacted Emerson at Light Trends and was told it would be shipping by 1 October. I again heard nothing. I contacted Emerson again and was told it would be shipping in a couple of weeks as it was still not in stock. I heard nothing. I had to chat again with Emerson when I was told it would ship 1 Nov. Then I was told it would ship either on the 7 th or 8 th of November. And then on the 11 th of November I was told it would ship today. I called the manufacturer of the tables today and they said they have been in stock and should I have been shipped out. I notified the chat app of Light Trends of this today and said I want a refund or my tables to ship. Skye said she would look in to this and I heard back that yes the tables are in stock but she doesn’t know why they haven’t shipped. At this point I either want a tracking number verifying that my tables have shipped or I want a full refund to my credit card.

    I placed an order ********* on 10/4/24. My debit card was immediately charged $208.25. There was no indication that the fixture was not in stock. I inquired about the status via chat on 10/27 because no one responded to my emails re same. I requested cancellation and a refund. After another request via chat I was sent an email cancellation on 10/29. However I have not received a refund.

    On May 7, 2024 a replacement clamp for our ******* mailbox from Light Trends in ****** ** was ordered (order # *****) and paid for. The part was to be delivered in 6-8 weeks. Have had numerous chats with Emerson via LiveChat. They never respond except to say it will be shipped, or I'll get back with you on this on Monday (which I never hear back). I have also used their Customer Support Center portal to attempt to obtain help on 2 occasions and never hear anything back. When complete the online portal it says you can expect a response in 24 hrs. Hear nothing but do get an email saying they received. Please HELP! I would really like the clamp, but if not, I expect a complete refund. Thank you.

    I am following up to let you know that Light Trends/ Hanover Lantern sent me on 10-9-24, two emails saying they are refunding my purchase price for the item I did not receive.  Over 2 weeks later and the credit has not posted to my credit card account!  Nor is it pending. Another dupe!!! Pics of both emails are attached. Please let me know that this complaint is still open and you are investigating this.
