            Our company absorbed a smaller company who used Shift4 for credit card processing. We ended up selling that company, so we tried to cancel our billing with Shift4. We have hit road block after road block through their customer service. We have offered to send legal documents showing the purchase and sale of the business to terminate the billing, but Shift4 refuses to accept those documents. We have been trying to cancel for more than a month at this point, but no progress has been made. Their customer service team seems to be trying to do everything in their power not to let us terminate our contract, and the result is that we have been charged thousands of dollars for a service that we have not used since 2022.
