    They simply dont show up to pick up the garbage with no apology nor excuse. They are the absolute worst!

    Oak Ridge Waste and Recycling of CT, LLC is the worst company don't do business with them, I have since the 2020, and For the last weeks they haven't picked up my garbage I already have two weeks calling for them to come and get their container Every time I call whoever answers the phone, doesn't know what to tell me, they are always lying I don't know what else to do to get out the container of my property

    This company is deplorable. I sold my house in mid August of 2022. I had already paid in advance for the months of August, September, and October. I told the buyer that he could use Oak Ridge or any other service he chose and left it at that. In November the buyer called me stating that Oak Ridge refused to let him take over the account until I called them. I was no longer the owner but did call them to let them know that I did not own that house since August and would not continue to pay for a property I did not own, especially since the new owner wanted to pay. They had the audacity to argue with me claiming that I could not cancel without a written letter! I have never ever had a problem canceling any account for any service before this. Finally they agreed to cancel the account. For the next few months they sent me a bill for a small sum of $26.85 without any description. I wrote back that I had already paid for two additional months after I sold that property and did not owe anything. They were quiet for the next 45 days, yet I just received another bill from them for this same amount without any reference to my many letters or with any reference for what this bill is for. This is the most unethical company that I have ever encountered and I would strongly recommend to anyone that if at all possible you contract any other waste removal service instead of Oak Ridge.

    I gave one star because it was required. All the bad reviews? Yes, better believe it! I read them all and it is all truth. The two, I think there’s two, who said the had great service? No, I don’t believe them. My sister who had them, and was very tolerant in waiting days past her contracted pick up day, has now canceled. She’s now more than eight days waiting for her barrels to be picked up. What a mess this company is. Stay away. Most towns have choices. That’s a good thing.
