    I have a plumbing leak going from my hot water tank to my washer. I called Benjamin plumbing.
    They came over on 10/27/24. I was in such a panic that I just had them do the work of replacing a fitting on my water line. They charged me $99 for the emergency trip and $ 608 for a new fitting.I'm 75 years old and have no clue on what they had done so I signed off on the invoice. When my son came over he asked to see the bill and then looked at what work had been done. I understand the $99 charge for the emergency trip. but they didn't give me a detailed invoice. all they did was show the $99 charge and a charge for a fitting for $608. When we called to find out how much they charged for labor, we were told they bill by the job. The part is a $20 part and all they did was cut the line and put the sharkbite fitting on. it took less than 15 min. They wouldn't tell me how much the labor charge was or how much they charged for the fitting.

After reviewing her account, we identified a discrepancy in our billing records, which we have now corrected. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience this may have caused. The customer has expressed satisfaction with the resolution, and we anticipate that she will be updating or removing the review accordingly.
