    Lifetime Construction installed a new roof on my commercial business in *****, **. In late May during a rainstorm the roof leaked in one area. I contacted them on June 2nd, 2024 and they said to take a garden hose on the roof and let it run for a while. He didn't think it was the roof that was leaking. I informed him there was a significant crack and water is breaching through this area. The next day I took a hose and sprinkler onto the roof and within seconds water was leaking into the structure. I sent a video of this to Lifetime and received a response, "I will come by next week. We will be out in *****, and I will take a look at it. I'm sorry this is happening". Today is July 25th, ******************************** regarding this matter! I left MULTIPLE messages and I do not even get a return call or text. Lifetime Construction is nonresponsive.

    This customer complained about a leak that was in the neighbors roof. I spoke them and explained and showed them that the water was coming in from the adjacent roof. I will go back out there and show them again. I know how important our BBB rating is so I will fix a roof that is not our responsibility. Please call me with any questions. 

     

    Also- Please take ***** Lego off of our account. He is no longer part of the company. Also- please put me down as contact. Thanks and call with any questions.

    Dear Selena:

    Please note that I am the owner of Thoughts In Bloom, a retail flower shop whose business address is ***************************************; 81052.  In addition to this property, I also own ****************************************************************; 81052.  I have, in July of this year filed the aforementioned complaint on Lifetime Construction due to the lack of response from said company to repair a leak to the roof on the property located at ************  The terms of the original agreement to replace the roof on said property contained a 10 year workmanship warranty.  The roof had been replaced in June 2023 and by April 2024 had leaks.  After numerous attempts to contact the contractor concerning this matter went unanswered, a complaint was filed with your company.  The response from ******* ***** to the BBB as an outright lie.  The problem with the roof was not anywhere near a neighboring roof, but instead four feet from the edge of the roof.  After a demand letter was sent from my attorney to Lifetime Construction and its owners separately, ******* ***** finally came to the physical location for inspection.  ******* ***** then found that indeed there was a workmanship problem with the quality of his team's work.  To date, a patch has been applied to the roof.  Until bad weather occurs, it is impossible to tell if the patch will hold or if a problem still persists.  I feel that the 4.5 star rating is not a fair representation of this company.  I now have an attorney bill to pay as I feel that ******* would not have held to his workmanship warranty without the threat of legal remedies.  I was out of town on work matters and was not able to respond within the 7 day window afforded by the BBB.  Inasmuch as it took several months for Lifetime Construction to respond, I feel it fair that my response as to the poor quality of communication and lack of responsibility on ******* ******* part be attached to his BBB record.  Other patrons have a right to know of this matter when they are researching Lifetime Construction.
