I have text exchange and submitted warranty claims over the **** of my house since May 2023. We purchased a home in September 2022, and noticed the heating was not working properly over the winter. It got worse during the summer, where we had airflow issues through the vents. They sent the same sub-contractor out multiple times and didn't fix the issue. If anything they would always make it worse. We had a 3rd party individual associated with the company come out, and they checked the **** it was getting 1-2CFM in the bedrooms and 20ish in the main room. It was not up to specs. They kept sending the same person out over and over again who didn't do anything to the ** or furnace, until the last time, where he was shocked he had to put like 3 hours of work to get some airflow to the child's room. They removed the portion that went to the crawlspace, and upsized the furnace in the last few days of our warranty period in September. We went all summer without any fix. We purchased some portable units for ourselves to help, but otherwise nothing. In the very last few days of our warranty, they sent the **** person to upsize the blower in the furnace. Since summer had past, they didn't know if that would even fix the issues, and so they said that we would have to wait until the next summer before we would determine if it worked. Today, I had contacted another **** company in the area to look at our system as it smelled like paint. I also asked them to look at the ductwork, since the same issues persisted through winter where the heat didn't feel correct. They said the ductwork was patched together, they used substandard parts on their equipment for the ****, the blower was leaking in the coil that was replaced, and when they looked at some of the vents, they didn't even have ductwork, they just had run the vent lines through the woodworking in the house. They quoted us 20k for replacement. Century says warranty is up and they won't do anything.
