In October 2021 I placed an order for a Kia ********* and made a $100 refundable deposit. I was told then that if I chose not to purchase the car I would be refunded. Due to a lack of full disclosure and just an overall uneasy feeling about Arapahoe Kia eventually leading me here to other nearly identical complaints to mine I decided to take my business elsewhere. I informed Arapahoe Kia after being threatened via text by ***** that they were selling "my car" the next day it was confirmation I wanted nothing to do with this business. I responded to the text and asked when my refund would be put through and ***** told me first thing the next morning. (That should have been February 9, 2022). This entire time we'd only been working with Georgia and she thanked us for working with her and asked if she could help with anything. I explained to her the reason we went elsewhere and how inept the finance team seemed. (asking me for a credit app when they already had one). She apologized for my experience saying that **** was new to their team and didn't know. I told her all I needed was to find out where my refund was, this was on Feb 11th and she said she'd make sure her inventory manager refunded me. I still haven't gotten the refund and while its not a lot of money its principal at this point. I emailed Georgia again for an update on 2/17 and got a response this morning that I should call her inventory manager **** to find out. That's a whole lot of people at this point who have said many things and frankly I shouldn't have to chase my refund. The bank has no record of a refund coming so this isn't an issue of it taking awhile. This is pure negligence.

I put down $500 to hold a car, 2022 Kia ****** EX. I was told that when the car was at the dealership I could test drive and decide if it was the car was for me and if I wanted to take possession. I was made to believe that i had a choice to purchase or not purchase the car. Dealership did not have any 2022 ****** on the lot only used 2021 models. I did not sign a promise to purchase or hold agreement. I did not agree that the deposit was non refundable verbally or in writing. I asked for my deposit back on 2/1/2022 and was told that I could not get it back because it was on hold for the last 22 days. I have current financial difficulties that will not enable me to purchase a car in the next 14 days (ETA for vehicle delivery to the dealership ifls 2/15/2022). I only received the window sticker for the car. Will ****** did not provide a receipt for the purchase but I have a charge on my debit card.

This was a mis-understanding between the manager and the customer. The customer's money has been refunded. We have reached out to the customer and have not heard a response.

Date of purchase: 8/30/2021 I purchased a car and paid $22,000. They were supposed to deliver the car to me. There never delivered the car and still have my money. I now have to pay for a rental every day that they have my car. I call and call and just get the runaround.

On 9/11/21 I put a $2000 down payment on my credit card for a used vehicle. When the car went through their shop they found serious problems with it and decided not to sell it to us. I really appreciate that they did not want to unload a problem on us. But, then failed to return my $2000 deposit. I have made several phone calls and talked to a different person every time without any results. One of the guys from finance called me yesterday and said that the deposit was returned, but it did not show up on my credit card. I called the finance office and everybody was to busy to talk to me so they took my phone number to call me back. I did not receive any return phone calls.

Good afternoon,I am reaching out to you to see if you would be able to help us with major issues that we are experiencing with Arapahoe Kia. I took my vehicle into ***** times with no resolve. On 6/16/21 we scheduled a transport company by the name of *************** *****#******* MC-******* transport my 2013 ********** from Arapahoe Kia to my residential home in *****. We attempted and left several voicemails for the service department to advise of the pickup prior, no one returned our calls. When reaching out to the dealership they did not apologize, wanted to point fingers and the manager ***** stated that we were trying to extort money from the company because we asked for our transport fee to be reimbursed. The dealership in ******** sent a mass email out stating that our car should not be fixed or covered under warranty. Which was not stated by the manager of the branch which I have an email and videos. This email was sent from the dealership as an act of retaliation.

This customers account from a directive of ********* has been transferred to the ***** regional office wear the the vehicle was last. Arapahoe Kia with a directive from ********* is not to work on this vehicle.  All further questions or concerns regarding this account needs to be taken up with our manufacture. This account at Arapahoe Kia is closed.

I am rejecting this response because: The directives at Arapahoe Kia had nothing to do with this issue prior.  Arapahoe intentionally lied about repairing the vehicle they then came back to the new dealership that we took the vehicle to for a second opinion and sent our a mass email stating that the vehicles warranty was voided because we did not want Arapahoe Kia to fix it due to misdiagnosis several times.  Arapahoe Kia refuses to provide me with any directive information from where this email was sent and the mass email from the directives that was sent per the manufacture was the reason for non repair.  They want to wipe their hands of the issue however I am able to send emails, text and recordings were Arapahoe Kia is the root cause.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

5/14/21 My vehicle was towed to Arapahoe Kia - With no transportation option.05/22/21 Picked my vehicle up and it was still not repaired properly 05/24/21 Drove my vehicle to work where my vehicle would not start and the check engine light and other lights came on. My mother spoke with **** and ******* who previously stated that it was a recall issue that they have been seeing/system malfunctions and had attempted to repair prior however when they realized that they would have to replace the engine due to a recall malfunction all of a sudden there is no issue with the car. 05/27/21 Picked the vehicle which was still not repaired because we have a video with the check engine light coming on again.
