On 9/30/2023, I tried to change my phone plan which is pay as you go (not monthly , no contract) with Ting Mobile which they refused to do. So because of financial constraints with a job change and delay in my first paycheck I could not pay the current plan and they cut off service (and I canceled on the phone). Now in November, they are trying to charge my card ***** for two months October and November. I have not had service and I owe not one ***** to ting mobile.They don't answer phones and I can't trust them to cancel my account even if I get a hold of them. I can NOT remove my card information on my account online. This is a huge SECURITY BREACH in itself. It only allows you to change the card and to a valid card. SO I AM FORCED TO ONCE AGAIN get a new debit card. I have had two breaches in the last ************************************** companies for that sunken cost. No device (and hence phone number is associated with the account so they are trying to charge me a service they're not providing. Again this is pay as you go. Please tell Ting Mobile 's *********************, I am no long er using Ting Mobile and have not for over a month and to remove my card information and prove it to resolve this issue now since I have spent hours with the awful customer service and dreadful ability to change information and plans and turn off your cards on their prepaid plans. I had to pay upfront when I got their plan and they would turn off the phone service if it was not prepaid and I had no contract with them but at this point due to the utterly disappointing response I need ALL canceled. I am paid up and I need proof you no longer have access to my card and I will just have to live with it .
All I care about is never having to deal with this company Ting Mobile again at this point.

You disputed the balance associated with your Ting Mobile account. You said you were unable to change your plan, so you canceled your service. You also requested that your debit/credit card information be deleted from our system.
Please note that Ting Mobile is not a prepaid service. Your balance was for service rendered between August 31, 2023, and October 8, 2023,when your number was ported out. As no payment was received for your August 2023 to September 2023 balance, it was added to your September 2023 to October 2023 balance, leading to the $96.88 balance to which you referred.
Our records show that you contacted us on October 1, 2023,regarding a plan change, but you wanted it to take effect immediately. As the agent explained, your plan would take effect on your next billing period or on the 15th of the month. You said you would call us back after thinking about it.

I am rejecting this response because:********************* is lying . This is a prepaid service and I did not get phone service after I canceled. I have always paid as I went and I had to pay for the service upfront. T-Mobile is a contract service. ********************* is making these dates up. There is no way they let me or would let me have service for two months. Furthermore I called MANY times in the past year to change my service to a plan based on usage and you can't get that plan on their wbsite.
Their phones and customer service and support doesn't exist. They tell you you can't get chat during business hours and then you call and it would give you a message to call back later or end the call after **** minutes on hold. Furthermore this company has a 1.7 rating on BBB because of the scam tactics they employ. They must cease and desist with my card information. I have told you numerous times you aren't authorized and I can not turn my card information off on my account.
This company still has my card information illegally and are unauthorized to use my card sincE September 2023.

We have been a Ting Mobile customer for years. I received a VERY important voicemail dealing with a legal issue and needed it saved. I reached out to their phone support and asked them if there was a way to save the voicemail. The employee asked if he should reactivate my voicemail but I said no. He said to wait and then deleted all of my voicemails by redoing my entire voicemail. I lost personal voice messages from loved ones AND an important legal voicemail where someone was threatening me. Ting mobile has SCREWED me. Their support staff say they can't fix it but I find it incredibly hard to believe that data isn't backed up anywhere and would be completely erased with the click of a button. Why wouldn't they raise it to their IT staff to check. I'm DISGUSTED with how this was handled and ****** off after using Ting as a provider for so long. I signed up for prepaid phone service. After a few months I decided I no longer wanted the service, the company suspended my account and I could not longer make phone calls or send text messages. However the company still continue to attempt to take money from my band account for the entire month even though I couldn't use it and my service was suspended. This is not the first issue I have had with the company. Approximately 5 months prior to this incident I was double charged by the company, and when called to complain and try to get my money back I was told that they didn't know what happened and would provide me a credit but could not pay me my money back. I called the company today and asked them to please remove my debit card information and they refused to do so even though I was charged for services on an entire month that I could not use the services. You stated that you signed up for prepaid service, but you no longer wanted to continue with it after a few months. You indicated that your service was suspended and you were unable to use it; however, you continued to be charged. You mentioned that you had a previous billing issue, but you confirmed this was already addressed. You expressed concern with the attempts made to charge your credit/debit card account, and you would like this information removed.
Please note that Ting Mobile is a postpaid service.
Our records show that the last payment we received was for $96.37 on June 7, 2023. This covered your service from
April 25, 2023, through May 24, 2023.
A bill of $96.37 generated for service from May 25, 2023,through June 24, 2023. Our attempts to collect this balance on the June 24,2023, due date were unsuccessful. An additional bill of $96.40 generated for service from June 25, 2023, through July 24, 2023. We were unable to collect a payment on the July 24, 2023, due date. This resulted in an unpaid balance to $192.77 for two months of service.
As there is usage on your account for the two months of service, the balance on your account is valid.
Please be advised that Ting Mobile requires that a credit/debit card be on file for autopay. Additionally, you are billed for the entire billing period, and the amount due is not prorated if service is suspended and/or canceled.

I set up a Ting mobile account online because I thought I would need them.. turns out I didnt and never activated ANY services. Ting mobile tried charging my card on file for *****+. I contacted them and was assured that they would not try to charge me again because they could see I NEVER had services. The next day they charged my card still.
