    Waste of time. We scheduled a tour and the agent never showed up. **** sent me an email to reschedule, which we did, and nobody showed up AGAIN. Not worth it

    Please do not rent at any property that these crooks own. They are a company based in ********** that doesn't care about anything. Criminal level negligence and incompetence - wish I could give zero stars. The amount of times cars were broken in to / stolen was too many to count. One time a police chase ended in the parking lot and totaled a resident's car and damaged the covered parking, and a woman got tased to the ground. This is the level of criminal activity in the area. The building itself was broken into by a drunk resident and there was glass all over the mail area and blood in the elevator the next morning. The elevators were in terrible shape - they were loud because they were in need of maintenance. The ceilings in the laundry rooms are all caving in with water damage because the machines all leak, and most of the plugs for the machines are held in by tape. The laundry is run by a third party that uses an app, and they raise the rates without notice. Laundry increased $1.25 over the six months that Laramar operated our building. **************** was friendly but sloppy. They came to fix a drain in my bathroom and left the sludge all over the place. Speaking of pipes, the water was shut off at least once a month, often times more. They will always label it as an "emergency" to avoid getting in trouble. They never actually fixed anything. The pool was open for two weeks before they closed it. The gym has equipment that is all picked apart for scrap and none of them work. These are all amenities that you pay for that simply do not exist. Do not be fooled by the photos, please go see for yourself. But beware - there is no office on site - they are located elsewhere and refuse to pickup the phone. When your lease is up, good luck getting your security deposit back without threatening legal action. Took them over 60 days to get it to me, which is against Colorado state law. They are not BBB Accredited for a reason.

    I used to live in on of their apartments in Denver, Co. I moved out because of homeless people coming into and out of my apartment complex and tons of Drug use. I told the apartment complex the issue and they ended up giving me a final bill. I was paying on it and my last payment I was not able to pay because of losing my job. It has been a few years later and it is still on my credit report. I tried to fix the issue but the apartment complex couldnt find my information and even their credit agency couldnt find my information. I have been going back and forth with them to fix the situation but they told me that they cant help me. I even drove to their office and pleaded with them to help me. They finally gave me a letter but it still didnt fix the issue of getting it off my credit. I dont even know what to do now because of this situation. I am very frustrated with this situation.

    I was a resident of Local by Laramar and they did a few things well, but the one thing that was never right was the communication. Its now been over sixty days since I vacated the property and I still have not received my deposit. This probably wouldnt be such a big deal if the management just communicated with me. Heads up LBL, youd have much less work and many happier tenants if you took the time to effectively communicate. When you dont reply to emails and phone calls, you merely invite additional emails and phone calls. In addition to that, you leave your customers, yes customers, with a bad experience. And that is what we are. Customers. I just spent about $16,000 in this last year as a tenant, and that doesnt even warrant the basic courtesy of a return email or call? Unacceptable. If this were any other type of business, itd have long ago failed. Which may be something to bear in mind. Yes, the market is tight right now, and these property management companies are very appealing to property owners, but if you get enough of these complaints and poor ratings, hopefully theyll keep shopping and find a company with basic decency. My suggestion would be Cornerstone.

    High Crime Apartment buildings, unhelpful and careless management team when it comes to your concerns. Been robbed from my neighbors several times and they want me to pay them money in order to get out of my lease. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!
