    On May 25, 2025, I experienced a confusing and unprofessional situation at Red Rocks due to poor communication regarding weather-related changes. The venues Instagram account indicated the event was postponed, and I received a refund for a dinner reservation, which led me to reasonably believe the show was canceled. Upon arriving, I was denied entry by an incoherent employee citing vague "liability" reasons. The lack of clear, timely updates and the unprofessional conduct of staff resulted in a frustrating experience. I requested a refund (or credit toward a future concert) via email on May 27 and have received no response. I am now filing this complaint to seek resolution.

    We have documentation that the event was never cancelled.  Thousands of other ticket holders made it to the show.  The venue bears no responsibility for Mr. ********* leaving and not attending the show.

    Your response is as disappointing asyour service. Without the Red Rocks name propping you up, the staff wouldnt last a week on merit. I wish I could prove what I experienced, but I cant, though its clear the place is run by lazy low life Colorado locals who dont need to care about repeat business and treat people accordingly. May your reputation catch up to your behavior.

    September 14, Soon after the end of the first perfor***ce, **** ****** and the **, I am a cane using disabled senior veteran who went to the Red Rocks designated cab stand And was ushered by a *** to a cab/white van near where a staff member was. The first *** left ushering others. I told the driver where I was going asking about how much he replied about $35. that sounded about right, so I agreed and got in his cab and when he arrived at my home, he would not unlock the door and let me out of the vehicle Unless he received $100. He said that I agreed to $100 and I disagreed with that. He imprisoned me for quite some time While texting numerous times to someone scaring me. I handed him two $20 bills, asking him to unlock the doors and let me out and he would not. I thought about smashing the windows, but was afraid he might have a gun. I was also afraid he was going to take me to whoever hes texting etc. so I gave him an additional $10 bill and I had an emergency $50 gift **** card I bought from ****** and gave him that, and he finally freed me unlocking the doors And I hurried inside my senior apartment complex. I need red rocks help to identify these people and the e ***** involved (And I am not going to provide my description of me here to locate me and these guys and the white cab/van in the videotape ) so there can be a proper investigation to stop this from happening to someone else at least. I had emailed a staff from red rocks soon after I got home and calmed down, but they have not replied.

    We recently attended the DirtyHeads show, but we were able to find neither seats nor even standing room. The show was extremely oversold. When we asked for help from row attendants, they advised us to confront other patrons ourselves to make space. I sent an email to Red Rocks support but have not received a response. I want a refund.

    Hi,Drove up from ***** to experience the beauty of Red Rocks and *******************. I bought seats back left row 42 and seats 136 and 137. It was our first time at the venue. No one would allow us to use our seats. There was no ***** making sure that the correct people were supposed to be in that row. We asked people politely to move or make room as general admission was mixed into our assigned seats. Needless to say we left the venue because having purchasing tickets we expected to be sitting in our seats and were not able too.This was a bucket list item as we wanted to see one of the top ten venues in the world as we have gone to ********************* and ************** with no issues.

    Attended the show listed on the attached receipt. Had 4 tickets though only 2 of us attended. Told this to the ticket checker and there were clearly only 2 of us entering. Went to sell the tickets later though was unable to list on the axs exchange. My wife then decided she needed to go back to the vehicle, so decided to use 1 of the tickets for reentry. At this point, we found out the original ticket checker had scanned all 4 tickets without our knowledge, despite clearly being told to only use 2. Attempted to explain this to the head ticket checker, though no attempt was made to listen, converse or come to a resolution by any red rocks employee. Instead we were met with hostility and disrespect. I was forced to leave as they would not let my wife back in, forcing us to miss a show that had been a big reason for our trip to Denver. We feel we are at least owed the price of the two tickets that were essentially stolen from us by the original ticket checker. Due to the terrible customer service, they really should reimburse us for all 4 as we missed the show, but would settle on just the two. We did buy the tickets second hand, so original ticket price would be acceptable.

    I went to Red Rocks on October 4th, 2023. The show was over sold, couldnt see or hear the stage for the entire show, couldnt find a seat anywhere. Red Rocks sold more tickets than they could seat. I pretty much just got charged to go 2 hours out of my way, stand in a crowd for a few more hours and not get to experience what I paid to see.

    August 12th, 2023 Slightly Stoopid concert. We took our daughter who just turned 18 to this concert. None of us were familiar with any of the bands playing, but just wanted her to see the venue and have the red rocks experience. There was not one place to sit or even stand - not an inch of space to see the band or even the screens. We were yelled and shuffled around by the staff if we even slow walked the stairs so we get a few minutes of seeing the band. No one in the seats would make room. The venue was so oversold it was ridiculous. Hundreds of people like us milling around - standing in the trees, in the stairs until they were cleared. Such a waste of money and a bad experience for our daughter. We left.

    No shade is provided and Im highly sensitive to the sun. Brought an umbrella and was denied to have it. The staff was extremely rude about it.

    The patron is correct that umbrellas are not permitted and that is listed in many locations including the Red Rocks website.  This is done so that other patrons are not impacted by an umbrella blocking their view.   We encourage folks that need/want protection from the sun to wear clothing that would assist in that protection.

    We attended the ***** brothers concert on Saturday, July 8th. We had general admission tickets and arrived during the opening band. We walked up and down the entirety of GA seats asking people if we could sit where they had blankets, clothes and backpacks taking up space. No one would let us sit. The event staff were absolutely no help and were clearly far too overwhelmed to help us. We ended up sitting in reserved seating until we were kicked out by patrons with those tickets. We were VERY clearly not the only ones having this same problem. This was my first experience here and it was absolutely horrible. I wish I never would have bought GA tickets because I did not receive what I paid for whatsoever. People in general admission were struggling for room to sit on planter boxes behind shrubbery. In other words, spaces not meant to be occupied by attendees. Those spaces were meant to be transient and provide clear separation of rows. It cannot be denied the every planter box on the general admission row had people sitting on them. The only solution is a refund. The time of arrival is immaterial. I hope that whoever manages this or is responsible for this can not continue to sell tickets to people who will have the absolute worst experience like I had.
