This company has completely lied and deceived its customers. I placed an order worth $2,000. With guaranteed delivery dates for December 13th (I placed the order 11/22). They had a Black Friday sale and oversold and now have under promised. The worst part is no one is holding them accountable. They dont respond they cut off their customer service line because it was too overwhelming like seriously?? That should be illegal. No one is responding or getting what they orderedInitial Complaint

Their pricing structure is extremely non transparent. They do not state clearly the true cost of a photo book. The cost of a product should be apparent when you select it but no where does it ****** state the additional cost of additional pages and what that cost it. I spent an entire day building a photo book while unknowingly racking up a $500 book. I did not purchase it but I can't get back the entire wasted dayInitial Complaint

Artifact Uprising guaranteed delivery of my photo album before 12/24 if I ordered by 12/14. I ordered 1 hardcover, photo-wrapped album on 12/10. I paid $160.68. Shipping was standard. As of 12/25, my order status still shows In Production. My order failed to be delivered on time. I contacted the company to ask about my order status through Instagram Direct Message on 12/23. I recently designed a photo album on Artifact Uprising's website, aiming to purchase a Signature Layflat Photo Album priced at $259. However, upon completing my design and clicking "Add to Cart," I was shocked to see the price had jumped to $789, nearly triple my budget.The issue lies in the lack of transparent pricing information on the product page, project page and throughout the entire design process. Additionally, the product comparison chart on their site only displays the $259 price, but does not show the $789 cost for the maximum number of pages, which is a critical detail. I reached out to Artifact Uprising, and they pointed me to a section labeled "Additional Details" on the product page. This section is collapsed as a default, which means that the "fine print" is hidden to anyone who does not click on it. It is intentionally misleading. They offered me a 20% discount, which is one they provide regularly, not specific to someone who has just wasted many hours painstakingly designing a product that they can no longer afford. The discount brings the price to $631, which then jumps back to $725 after tax and shipping. This is TRIPLE the price listed on the page. Not a discount at all.Considering the substantial time and effort customers invest in designing their albums before discovering the actual cost at the "Add to Cart" stage, this deceptive practice in unacceptable. Artifact Uprising should at the very least have an upfront cost calculator, and then revise their comparison chart, display comprehensive pricing on product and project pages, and maintain transparent pricing throughout the book creation process. Without this, customers are bound to believe the price listed is the price they will be expected to pay.I've spent approximately 50 hours designing a book I can no longer afford due to this misleading pricing, which is unacceptable for a responsible company like Artifact Uprising.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase on 05/24/23. After receiving the item not as described), I contacted customer service asking to return the item (Brass and Wood Display Box). I received a response today that they had sent a replacement without asking if that was an acceptable resolution and in direct opposition of the resolution requested. Order placed Nov 1st for holiday photo cards. Quickly shipped Nov 3rd. When they arrived the quality was horrible. Surprised they slipped through as alright to send to the customer, me. The photo quality was splotchy, had a these little black areas and visible dots. All images were high resolution. Reached out to customer support on Nov 4th about the cards. Support help replied with, After taking a closer look, I do think your images printed as we would expect them to. They could only offer a partial refund or credit to re-do the cards. My husband agrees to try again this time with a different design. New order placed on Dec.14th and they shipped Dec.15th. They arrived Dec.18th and the quality was still utterly trash. The pictures this time came out fine, not great theyre blurry even when uploaded correctly. The font and writings on the cards did not transfer well. Theyre sadly also going into the garbage. I chose this company out of the dozens of others because of how highly recommended they are. Ive paid way less for holiday cards and have never had this many issues. $70 in the trash and the company wouldnt offer a refund. Even offered to send them all their cards back. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Such a hassle and feels like theyre scamming folks under the guise of sustainability.Initial Complaint

I purchased 3 brass and *************** from this company. Order ********** on 12/4/22. I just opened them to find that they are not at all as described. They are scamming consumers and claiming in the description it is made out of real hardwood when in fact it is a strong smelling cheap, lightweight plywood that is chipped (all 3 products). These are cheaper than what is sold in dollar stores for $1. The photo on the website does not at all depict the actual product you receive. The shipping for these falsely advertised products was also $18! I emailed them when received and have not gotten a response yet. I would like to send products back and receive a refund plus shipping charges asap.Business Response
