This information is collected on a County, City, State and federal level and can also come from reporting information during normal every day activities such as grocery store club cards, magazine subscriptions, voter registration, warranty cards, even fishing licenses, and forms you fill out when browsing the internet. There are thousands of ways this information gets reported.

When I looked up my phone number all of my information poped up on their website. I did not authorize this information to be shared. I never gave them permission to obtain, share, or publish my information. It has my full name, birthday, complete address and history, it even has everyone that I am related too. This is one of several online background check companies that lists me as married. They seem to be able to update all of my personal information almost instantly as far as addresses and phone numbers go but cant seem to update my marital status. I have already opted out of this website and find that there is no way for me to get people to stop shouting about names at me or my home that I DONT USE.
