    I moved on 5/27/23 I paid in total *****, because once they arrived they upped my price without any notice and since they only take cash they wouldn't get my belongings out of the truck until they had cash in hand.Once I paid them I had missing bed legs, broken lamp shades, TV stand was damaged, Chair was broken.I have been arguing with them because they never took inventory of my things and I never signed the delivery document because I was very upset. I had basic insurance on all my things and wasn't offered any other insurance from them.I filed a dispute with the company right away as well as reached out to the owner, and have been through 2 different claim companies because they kept switching. I finally settled with them for only $75, due to them only giving me pennies per lb and disputed the weight of my items as well. I signed my documents for the settlement and had them notarized like they requested on 12/6/23 and have been waiting for my check which I still haven't received! I have tried calling them and keep getting disconnected or hanged up on! They will not me and have blocked my cell phone. This company is very unprofessional and lies to get you as a customer. Please help me recover some of my monies lost due to the negligence of this company. Thank You,***************

    I contacted Star Van Lines to move some furniture from ****** to *************. ******************************* sent me an estimate. We agreed, paid deposit & scheduled the movers. After seeing the items to move they told me our furniture will not fit in the 300 cubic feet reserved for us and it will cost more than estimated. I called ****** while the movers were here and ****** told the movers it will fit. The movers went outside and called someone and after 45 minutes drove away. I text the driver to ask why he left (no answer). I called ****** to ask where the movers went & to find out what was going on (no answer). 3 hours later ****** returns my call to say he was at the doctor with his son. I told him we wanted to be refunded our deposit. He said "it's nonrefundable and he could get ****************. I said we no longer trusted his movers nor him. So he begins to say "this is a recorded line". I said; "good I want to speak to your supervisor". He said; I am my own boss". Followed by "So, you are denying service". I said; "no, you breached the contract therefore we are hiring another mover" and "we want our deposit back". He continued to repeat the above comments over and over again. I hung up. I went back to ******'s email to review the agreement and estimate and got a message that the link had timed out. So, I started emailing and calling ******'s mobile to ask for these documents. Even called the customer service number but ****** answered it. Every time I called he had an excuse why he could not get these to me... It's my day off, I'm at the ** with my son and on and on. Then he began sending pictures from the ** saying I feel like you think I'm a liar. I told him; I don't care about his personal life... this is all business. Just send me the receipt and agreement and he would not hear from me again. After a week; he finally resent the documents. He has not refunded the deposit. Horrible experience.
