I booked a reservation on 5/17/25. The scheduled pickup time was 9:00 am on 5/18/25 at ******** *******************************. The drop off location was set for the ******************. The rate stated at the reservation screen was $60.00 and that is the amount that was charged to my credit card at the time of booking.On 5/18/25, the driver, **** Boots, called me at 8:55 am stating he was running about 20 minutes behind and would arrive at 9:15 am. At 9:13 am, I texted the driver that we are waiting outside. The driver replied that he was about one minute away. He did not arrive until 9:17 or 9:18 am, and we immediately got into the van without delay.The company indicates they determine their rate by using a ****** maps estimate of the travel time beginning at 4:00 am. According to ****** maps, the travel time from the hotel to the ****************** (using the 4:00 am Monday time frame outlined in the company contract) is "typically ***** minutes" using the fastest route. In this instance, I have GPS tracking information that confirms a departure time from the hotel at 9:18 am, with an arrival time at the airport of 9:45 am. This is a total travel time of 27 minutes, which is within the estimate that the company states it uses when establishing pricing. After being dropped off and while walking to airport security, at 9:47 am, I texted the driver to add a 25% tip. To avoid confusion, I texted the driver again at 9:49 am, that the intended tip amount was $15 (25% of $60).Despite the above, on May 22, 2025, I received a receipt from the company stating the total charges were $133.00, and the company charged by credit card for an additional $73 on that date. In the receipt, the company notes an excess duration charge of $58.00. I tried to reach the company, but they do not take calls and have not responded to my emails. Further the company receipt specifies that they will charge me an additional $50 for disputing any charges with my bank.Initial Complaint

I reserved a round-trip shuttle service from ***************************, ************* to and from an *************. Upon arrival at the airport, which was on time and 30 minutes prior to my reserved shuttle pick-up time, I received multiple phone calls and text messages from the shuttle driver stating that he was waiting. Per the driver's insistence, I arrived at the shuttle 15 minutes early, and he explained his sense of urgency had been due to airport security telling him he could not park/wait outside of the baggage claim area. The drive to the hotel was smooth with no traffic. I tipped the driver upon arrival, and the original quoted amount for my reservation was charged and processed by my bank the following day.For return to the airport, I received a confirmation email the day before; however, no service was ultimately provided. I was unable to reach 24-7 Ride by phone and followed their automated instructions to send an email. The email response I received indicated they may take up to 24 hours to respond. I waited 20 minutes past my reservation time, and then hired another service to get to the airport.6 days after the completed one-way service with 24-7 Ride, they emailed an invoice adding on additional fees for early pick-up and traffic and charged my account twice more for a **** of 3 times, each charge for the original quoted amount, which they confirmed was only for the one-way service. I requested correction of their billing. They stated their billing was correct and in adherence with their terms and conditions, which they copy/pasted into their response email. The copy/pasted terms and conditions state they will assess a $50 charge per disputed item if the applicable financial institution finds in their customer's favor, refer to a third-party collections agency for the disputed item charges and original fees, and report fraud to the bank and the credit bureaus for disputing charges they claim were agreed to upon reserving with 24-7 Ride.Initial Complaint

I hired 24 - 7 Ride to drive me to the *********** from the **************** on May 7, 2025. The base fee was $81.11 plus applicable taxes, and I also paid a $20 tip. The ride was fast and smooth. There was no traffic. The driver even used the carpool lane the majority of the way. My pick up time was 7 AM. I arrived shortly before 8 AM. Nearly two weeks after traveling with their service, I receive an email stating they are charging me an additional $102 for an additional 51 minutes of traffic. That is impossible. I would have missed my flight. I emailed them regarding this, and was told they are charging me an additional $50 for disputing the $102 charge. They say all of this is in writing and asked me if I read the contract that I signed. I didnt sign anything. I made a phone call and gave them a credit card over the phone and paid $81.11 plus fees and tip to get a ride from the hotel to the airport. That was the verbal agreement. I received an email from them AFTER THE ***** So even if they sent me something in writing, I would not have received it at the time I made my purchase based on the terms stated, and I certainly didnt sign anything. Reservation # ***** was booked 06-29-2024 and the ***** paid. The person who paid the $***** with her credit card later mistakenly disputed the charge. 24-7 said if we would send proof of dismissal of dispute they would not charge for the mistake. I sent the proof the day they requested it and they sent email saying we would not be charged the extra amount. On 03-20-2025 I sent them a request to cancel the reservation knowing that they would only refund 50%. They sent email saying the reservation had been cancelled with 0% refund. When I questioned the refund they brought up the dispute again. Said if I would send proof the dispute was cancelled, the 50% refund would be immediately refunded. Sent every email again that very day (03-25-2025). No response what so ever. Have sent 3 emails since requesting status of the refund. No response what so ever. On 04-11-2025 I again sent all the info they requested thinking maybe they hadnt received. As of 05-04-2025 there still has not been a response from them.Initial Complaint

The business uses a tactic of basing the ride time of their shuttle service of 4am which is unreasonable in ***********. Any overtime spent over that amount is a traffic fee. They also charge you a late pick up fee even if their driver is late on their own account. I tried to reason with them and I got nothing but the claim that this was per the contract. I find it unreasonable to charge the client for their own employees being late, and use that same penalty time to charge you a traffic fee. Its paying two penalties on top of each other. Our pick up was at 6:10 I notified the driver at 5:35 that we were on our way out of the airport, he replied over ten minutes later stating that traffic was heavy and that he would be late. They were supposed to be monitoring our flight to ensure they were there to pick us up on time. He was late almost 40 minutes. The quote was $200 and they billed me over $300. After several emails they didnt budge, they took advantage of the situation and we have zero say as a consumer. Hopefully you folks can at least help others not to be taken advantage of by these individualsInitial Complaint

On 02/14 I was overcharged $60 on my reservation from my home to LAX. 2-16-25 I was charged a rate of $77 dollars for airport pickup at *** to my home in **********. They sent me a confirmation number ***** and advised the rate would be $77 dollars. They NEVER mentioned anything about additional charges on the invoice and proceeded the next day to charge and additional $85 dollars with no legitimate explanation. I called my bank and advised this was a fraudulent company and my bank said they would not honor the $85 dollars. Now they are harassing me via email because they only communicate via email, they will not speak directly to clients which leads me to believe this company truly IS A SCAM!!!!!Initial Complaint

On August 31, 2024, I reserved (2) nine passenger vans from 24-7 ride, (1) five passenger van, and (1) additional nine passenger van for transport on February 1, 2025, and February 8, 2025. I paid the 24-7 ride company a total amount of $562.00. The first (2) nine passenger vans were reserved to take our family fromthe Embassy Suites motel located at ********************************************************************************* to the ******************** in **********, ** on Saturday, February, 1, 2025. The (1) five passenger van and the (1) nine passenger vans were reserved to take our family from the Carnival Cruise Port in **********, ** to LAX Upon returning home on February 8, 2025, there were additional charges on my credit card from 24-7 Ride in the amount of $206.50. I contacted 24-7 Ride to find out what the addtioinal charges were for. I received emails stating that $118.00 was for SLow Traffic Charges, $57.00 was for Late Pick up charges, and $31.50 was for Early Pick up charges. I contacted 24-7 Ride and disputed these various charges, explaining that these charges were unnecessary. The Slow Traffic charges were bogus. We weren't stopped in any traffice what so ever, either going to the Carnival Cruise Port on February 1, 2025, or going to LAX from the Carnival Cruise Port on February 8, 2025. The Early Pick up charges, the driver of the van contacted us that he was at the Carnival Cruise Port and was ready to pick us up. The Late Pick up charges, the driver of the van contacted us that he was running late. He ended up being 48 minutes late picking us up, and 24-7 Ride wants to charge me for him being late. 24-7 Ride is refusing to refund my account. I am filing the information with the BBB, the *************************, the ************************************* and with my bank. According to the Honest Pricing Law (SB 478) that went in to effect on July 1, 2024, the company 24-7 Ride is not in compliance with the new law. Website is deceiving and is a bait and switch scam. You book a shuttle price and it does not tell you upfront all the hidden fees and add on s . They get the client to accept terms and conditions but yet be upfront on the costs until day before trip to entrap you in extra costs and fees. This company adds on $2a minute extra starting at the waiting lot and $2 a min for extra drive time in *********** when they quote you a drive time starting at 4am. Unreasonable and unrealistic in *********** during regular business hours to entrap you in paying $100 or more in fees . They even put a hold on your credit card for an additional $100 to charge you extra. Even **** doesn't do that or taxi. Its a scam to make customers either cancel so they take full price with no refund. Even terms and conditions state if you dispute charges with credit card they will still have you pay the dispute fee.
