3 starsWhile I had a great experience with the financing process with ***, please steer clear of the concierge services. I was contacted regarding the free concierge service offered by ***. The concierge recommended *********** Moving and Storage. I was reassured by the concierge that they were here to advocate on my behalf should there be any issues. When I initially spoke to the customer service agent, I was told my move should cost about $600. When I spoke to a supervisor who called to confirm my move, when he realized that I was moving to a 3 story townhome, changed my rate and added a third ******* He gave me a $10 discount on the hourly rate because the customer service agent I talked to hadnt gone over the information thoroughly. Though apparently this discounted rate was only provided to me verbally, and was not written anywhere, so it was not honored. The morning of my move 3 teenage boys showed up at my door - one even wore crocs. I was extremely concerned because as I warned the supervisor I spoke to - I have very heavy furniture. A move that should have taken a few hours took over 8 hours. The kids worked the whole time, taking a break for one hour, but the were ill prepared for handling my move. Long story short, this move cost me over $2,000. After complaining, *********** refunded me $500. A week or so after getting settled in, I finally had time to sit down to watch television, which the movers moved for me. Little did I know that my television was damaged during the move and there were only squiggly lines on my screen. I contacted All My Son Moving and the *** concierge to no avail. Finally, after informing them that I needed to escalate this issue to management I was informed by *********** that because I had agreed to the $500 payment that I could no longer file a claim. And absolutely nothing from New American Funding. Thanks a lot. Stick to funding *** and get out of the concierge business if you arent going to keep your word.Review fromByron D

1 starThis was by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with in a finance company. False information about refinancing a manufactured home on leased property. Returned phone calls/emails were non existent. Im praying that the information I sent to the *** isn't used for fraudulent activity. The senior loan officers NMLS# is *******. I will not give this company even one star.New American Funding

1 starAfter the application process, they refuse to delete my data. Now I'm getting Spam from every scammer. I am so full of regret for initiating an application with this company. Do yourself a favor and scroll on. They are not trustworthy. They will sell your data and you will not be happy. They should be investigated for data corruption.New American Funding

Placing me on your internal "do not contact" database does NOT safeguard my data. You still have my name, address, phone number, SSN#, DOB, etc. As long as you refuse to delete it, my data may be invoilved ina future data breach. PLEASE DELETE THE **** of non-clients. I am not your client, and I never will be. Your firm insists that applicants allow you access to bank accounts, so some customers have given you that data, too. I am not your client; you don't have any innocent reason to retain it. People who have applied but not finalized loans should have their data protected from piracy.Review fromheather c

2 starsWorst experience I have had with a business. My Sr. **** officer would not respond to my realtor. My realtor kept having to call me to get ahold of her. She sent incorrect forms, did not make changes to contracts that were wrong and previous asked to be changed, she didnt see the conditions in the appraisal that needed to be fixed so the home would qualify for the loan- I had to point these out to her. She didnt tell me I would be working with anyone else from the company and I tried for days to reach her about an issue and then was told when I called the main number that someone else was now handling my account. My realtor also tried to reach this new person for over a week and she claimed her company phone wasnt working and my closing was delayed 3 days. And my contract was still wrong hours before I was supposed to close! This and the concierge set me up for an ADT package and then called me a week later to say the state I live in doesnt allow them to set up the service. This company made an already stressful experience almost unbearable especially for a first time home buyer. I do not recommend!New American Funding

1 starUnfortunately, after relying on information from NerdWallet, I decided to proceed with *** for my loan. ***** **********, the Senior Agent handling my application, made the entire experience frustrating and unprofessional. His communication was poor, he spoke to me condescendingly, failed to coordinate with my realtor, and neglected his responsibilities. Even his supervisor acknowledged that he had mishandled aspects of the process.Initially, ***** pre-approved our loan, assuring us that everything was in order. However, he fraudulently marked certain debts as paid without informing me. Once we entered the closing process for our new home, he abruptly informed us that my commission-based income could not be considered and that we would need a cosigner. After securing my mother as a cosigner and submitting her financial documents, we were once again assured that everything was progressing smoothly. We even received updates confirming our application was moving forward. Then, nearly two weeks later, ***** informed us that my mother had debt-to-income ratio issues and would need to pay off $17,000 for us to qualifydespite the fact that our process had already advanced. This was just one of several setbacks. Even after expressing our need to reassess our options, they continued moving the application forward and sending documents for signing, despite our uncertainty and lack of proper guidance.Needless to say, we ultimately decided to seek a different lender because this company felt suspicious and unreliable. Based on my experience, I would never recommend *** or ***** **********, despite his claimed 14 years of experience.New American Funding

1 starOn May 20, 2025, I reached out to New American Funding. Earlier in the year, I had received an escrow analysis which increased my monthly escrow payment by ~$100 a month. I then proceeded to pay a late tax bill from the year 2024 that was overdue. I sent the tax bill to New American Funding letting them know that it should be paid out of my escrow account given the fact that it was from prior year and overdue. New American funding paid the tax bill from prior year and then proceeded to increase my monthly escrow account by another $200 a monthly (resulting in a year-over-year escrow monthly payment increase of $300). I reached out to New American funding again, informing them that this was a late payment from prior year that was already factored into the escrow analysis from the current year and did not have to be adjusted again. I requested that New American funding reduce my monthly escrow payment by the $200 that they increased it by; at this particular point in time my escrow payment year month was over $1,000 and was near the amount of my principal. In spite of my numerous attempts to get new american funding to reduce the escrow amount, they stated that they would not adjust the amount as the late (2024) tax bill had already been incorporated into their analysis, in spite of the fact that it would be double counted.New American Funding

1 starThis company is negligent and unethical. Weve been dealing with them since November 2024 to sell our house due to short sale and they continue to drag out the process, withhold information and neglect the urgency of the sale. Weve had to extend our closing date 3 times and they still have zero urgency to get this to closing.New American Funding
