On December 19, 2022, the Lockbox Capital, LLC and Daren Lam entered into a consent order with the The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. The consent order settles allegations that Lockbox Capital, LLC and Mr. Lam failed to disclose to clients all parties involved with managing the clients' investment fund. The order alleges that the Lockbox, LLC was using another brokerage account to manage the fund. Under the terms of the order, the business agreed to pay the Commissioner an administrative penalty in the amount of $3,000.
